Experiencia fantástica: Its been many years since I went to the dentist, I always had bad experiences. My teeth aren't the best, and was always made to feel ashamed and sore when I left.. I had an in depth gum cleaning today with Melissa, and it couldn't have been better. A normal painful procedure was just the opposite. I will defenitly stay here. Thank you!!

Experiencia positiva: I had some dental issues. They tried to get me in. Immediately as I am in pain, they went over some treatment possibilities. And worked with me to try and figure out how I could get financing to help cover the costs that I would need. Covered. The whole experience and atmosphere was wonderful. The only thing that I have to complain about Is not their fault? It's directly related to the costs associated and the ability to get the full amount required

Experiencia negativa: I went in to get a filling replaced that fell out and they wouldn't do it. I felt like I was buying into a timeshare with all the dental work they said I needed. By the time I left I had a quote for $9000 after insurance. I went there because I couldn't get into my normal dentist right away. Total waste of time. I got into my regular Dentist for a cleaning and filling replacement the week after.

Experiencia fantástica: I had the best experience at Aspen Dental Muscatine today. I’ve been having tooth pain and delaying going tot the dentist. I called and the Muscatine office was able to get me in right away. I didn’t have to wait long, the staff was very friendly and made me feel comfortable. They were very gentle and nice to talk to! They also made a dental plan for me which I will have complete in just a couple days! I was easily approved w monthly payments and they saved me almost $700 by signing up for their savings plan! All around great service and I’m so excited for my new smile!

Experiencia negativa: After being charged 17k for a bridges and a partial, they failed to mention that I needed to come every 3 months to have my teeth and gums treated. They grinded my original teeth down for the bridges, and now they are telling me that the reason for 3 of my original teeth are loose because I haven't had the treatment and cleaning down every 3 months. They offered to grind down a few more of my original teeth so it didn't keep pushing against other teeth. This place is a bad joke. Nothing like throwing money out the door

Experiencia negativa: This place is a joke the people that work there are rude and the people that you call to make the appointment and you ask if they accept your insurance and they say yes they do so you go to your appointment just so they can tell you oh no we don't take this type of insurance I feel like they need to get people in there that know what they're doing and saying. Plus you want people to feel comfortable coming to a dentist and being rude and act like you don't want to do your job I feel like you need a big improvement.

Experiencia negativa: They got me in quickly, however, I went due to a broken tooth that is causing an immense amount of pain. I wanted to get that taken care of and they seem to really be concerned with pushing a ton of not urgent or pressing things that I simply cannot afford to do right now. I told them I knew I had other things but just wanted this taken care of now and it fell on deaf ears. The office manager offered payment plan options for over 8k worth of services and was helpful attempting to make it affordable but now I am still right where I started them having given me a referral to somewhere for part one of the treatment I need and that place is not in network with my insurance.

Experiencia negativa: False advertising. Online, it says urgent care. The window front says walk in's welcome. I had an emergency and they turned me away. I do not recommend this business since they do not provide the service that they advertise.

Experiencia negativa: Dentist was condescending and not really willing to work with me. Said I don’t need antibiotics since my knee replacement was almost 5 years. My physician doesn’t agree. She didn’t seem like she wanted to work with me.

Experiencia negativa: CALL YOUR INSURANCE FIRST! I called and made an emergency appointment with Aspen, I provided them my insurance information and even member number. ( Carefirst BCBS) . They said I was covered. Something felt off though, they most certainly work on an ABC script ( always be closing) and when I asked questions, they would keep referring to how the first visit was free and I wouldn't even have to worry about the insurance. I have amazing dental insurance but just moved to the area and Aspen spends well on their google marketing to they were one of the first that populated with availability. The day of my appointment they again confirmed I has in-network coverage. Well feeling uncertain, I called my insurance provider and lo and behold, they were NOT IN NETWORK. This would have taken my bill from 300 to possibly thousands. My insurance then provided me with a list and told me to avoid them as this is often a bit of bait and switch issue with Aspen. Where people will end up owing way more than their co-pay etc. They then went on to inform me that this is a common problem that patients have with them as they are more of a turn and burn, one in every town kind of outfit. I am sure they are great if they are in-network but do your due diligence.

Experiencia negativa: If I could put zero I would. Absolutely horrible experience. I have an infected tooth and all they said was that they could pull the tooth or have a nice day. They refused to give me an antibiotic for the infection and let me leave in pain. No help what so ever.i will never go back and I will tell everyone I know about this experience. They're just a corporate chain of dentists that just wanna take your money.Also they charged me $222 before they saw me.

Experiencia fantástica: Went in for an emergency wisdom tooth extraction. First time having a tooth pulled so wasn’t sure what to expect. The novacaine didn’t work so it was 2 hours of excruciating pain but the staff was very understanding and very comforting through the whole process. They aloud breaks throughout the extraction process which was very much needed. All the staff members were extremely nice and made sure I was well taken care of. These ladies are out here doing Gods work and have made a forever patient out of me!

Experiencia fantástica: I was a new patient, no insurance, excruciating pain from a broken wisdom tooth. Aspen Dental got me in the same day I called. The staff (specifically the Muscatine location by Walmart) was amazing and so helpful! I went in bawling and couldn't fill out the sign in, the sweet lady at the front desk came out and sat next to me and filled it out with me! I go back & the dentist I got was very knowledgeable and gentle. She immediately asked if I'd like her to numb my mouth, & I did. It was instant relief! She started working on my tooth and I was in shock when she said my broken, hardly there, wisdom tooth was "already out"! This was by far the easiest & least painful dental experience I've ever had! Especially for a broken wisdom!! I will be bringing my family to this location from now on! For having zero insurance right now I was scared of the cost!! When they said the tooth could be pulled for $156 I said LET DO IT! Thank you so much to the team at Aspen Dental!!!

Experiencia negativa: Please people don't use this dental service. My mom has been suffering from a horrible job with her dentures. She went back to get it fixed many times, at the end my mom just decided to live in pain, she gets blisters and she bleed from the dentures rubbing. They are so unprofessional and irresponsible, but sure they collect the money.

Experiencia negativa: After a wait of an hour(with an appointment and no one in the waiting room), I was ready to have my tooth extracted, it was an emergency situation because I could not eat or sleep. Two hours later, they had full X-rays of my entire mouth, a 3D scan of my entire mouth, and had a dental hygienist go over my teeth. I paid up front in cash. They didn't even pull my tooth that day. I had to come back the afternoon of the next day. Mind you, I couldn't eat or sleep and I was in constant pain. I wouldn't go back there again unless I have 3 hours for a simple procedure

Experiencia negativa: If I could give them zero stars I would because one star is far too kind. This place does not care if you're in pain or how you to take care of your dental health. All they care about is profit and getting you locked into one of their scam payment arrangements and tell you that it's a third party put when you look up this third party, you find out they are a subsidiary of Aspen. They have no concern for your time or schedule. The first appointment I had with them they canceled it within 2 hours of the appointment. Then they don't offer you a close appointment time because their doctor wanted to leave early for the day. But who cares about your schedule or taking off work right? When you make the appointment you tell them you're in pain and they say that they're going to take care of you. Then they bring you back and want to do everything else but address the reason why you came there. And then they try and get you to sign up for some payment plan which they charge four times more than the average dentist. I went there for pretty much a second opinion. The original dentist said except they wanted to crown everything instead of fillings, which was the complete opposite of what an accredited dentist said needed to be done. And then they try to hit you up with a $30,000 bill to do a payment arrangement with them when a accredited dentist said that it can all be done for under $5,000. Avoid like the plague, especially the Muscatine office.

Experiencia positiva: Just went in for an exam and x-rays, and so far, everything has been great. They went over pricing for the cleaning, and I specifically have to visit with the oral surgeon there due to some possible complications. So far, great!

I went to Aspen Dental and i ask if they took Medicare they did but not my kind,so I ask as well if they had a payment plan and they said they did so I proceeded on and they took alot of xrays and ask me alot of question about what med. I was on an so on. They had to talk to my Dr. about some personal stuff and they would get back to me. I had a sharp spot on my tooth and the Dentist grown it off and I ask what I owed them and they said nothing this time. I must say, I have been to quite a few Dentists in my time and they was so pleasant and easy too . Of course there will be a good size bill the next time I go back because they have to pull my tooth . Mainly why I'am doing all this is because Aspen Dental is a great place to go I think ,if you go you will see what I mean . Thank Aspen Dental I really appreciate what you have done for me.

Experiencia positiva: So I have an extreme phobia of the dentist. I broke my tooth on a Sunday and was scheduled by customer service for the following day at 9:30. Everybody was very polite and professional. The moment I walk to the door staff could sense my anxiety and try to comfort me. The dental assistant Emily (the dental assistant) was incredible. She very kind and extremely empathetic. The entire time I was there she checked on me and made me feel very at ease. The services ended up costing more than I was comfortable spending in cash so I applied for care credit and was immediately approved. The payment process was extremely simple. Brittany, the office manager was also extremely patient and helpful. While I was on hold with my insurance she called the provider line just to make sure I was able to get through to a real person. I’m returning for more work and highly recommend the staff and process at Aspen.

Experiencia fantástica: Aspen Dental has been great. I had a procedure where they removed my remaining 8 teeth, put in implants and prepared a temporary denture for me. Dr Sirany (spelling) has been amazing. She cares so much about fit and making sure that I am comfortable and really helped guide me through this major life change. I would recommend Aspen Dental (Muscatine) to anyone that has upcoming dental work. They will take care of you and they aren't very busy so you will likely get right in.

Experiencia negativa: Thought they were a good dentist at first. But they messed up! Yes they give you a free first appointment, and an expensive tooth brush. But 1st of all they didn't get my whole tooth when they pulled it out, so there's still an infected root in my gums that broke through my sinus cavity. So they scheduled me for surgery for the 29th of September at 11:30 am. They claimed they called me several times, but didn't get anything. So they went ahead and canceled my appointment. So I will never be going back there again and they won't get a f••king dime out of me. Way to screw up Aspen Dental, you just lost a customer.

Experiencia negativa: Horrible customer service. Was lied to about how the billing worked even after being approved for care credit for dental work. Some how have a outstanding bill even after having a credit card attached in which they've charged on their own.

Experiencia negativa: Tried to get my disabled nephew in for an emergency extraction but the company doesn’t take medicaid even on an emergency basis. Very disappointing.

Experiencia positiva: Staff was friendly but the only complaint I have is how ridiculously expensive they are. I go in to see about getting a cavity filled in, next thing I know they're saying at the end my bill will be over 3 grand!!
