I am new to the area and called four or five dentist offices and Grove was the only office who really listened to my situation and my needs and worked me in quickly. I can’t say enough about Dr Angela and her expertise. She and her assistant Fatima made me feel at ease and took excellent care of me. I definitely will go back. I highly recommend them!

I was a bit surprised when the dentist had her doing all the work but I’m not necessarily complaining but more so questioning why we over schedule dentists who are in the rooms for less than 10 mins

Experiencia negativa: My family and I have been coming to Grove for approximately 5 years. We were initially very pleased with our hygiene visit and found all of the hygienist to be very competent, friendly, and thorough. My first red flag experience was after several years when it was recommended that I have a cavity filled. I was told that it would be a small filling to replace the existing filling and treat some decay surrounding that. However, the day of, the filling was described as very large, and I was surprised to find that the female dentist left after drilling and allowed the tech to fill the tooth. I had several issues with my bite and had to return two times to have it fixed. At the second visit, I asked if I could please have the dentist complete the repair and not the assistant. Is this common practice now? I want only the dentist to complete treatments. Regardless, the completed filling is not up to par and still feels “off.” I decided to give them another chance, but we continued to encounter issues. One was with scheduling. On several occasions, I was called and asked to move my appointment time back due to scheduling issues on their end. My husband, however, had his appointment canceled twice because he did not confirm the appointment within only hours of them calling him. Ironically, he was seeing patients of his own at work those days! When he rescheduled, he was given grief about “waiting so long to come in for a cleaning.” The final straw was at my last visit when a crown was recommended on TWO teeth despite no issues being noted in the 6month visit prior (I should also mention many times the female dentist would record an area to watch only for the male dentist to comment, “Oh, no, that’s not decay. Let’s remove the watch on that one.”). I think it would be better for scheduling, our wallets, and our peace of mind to return to a smaller dental office at this point.

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Angela Walter is the most phenomenal dentist I have ever seen. After many dentist office changes and issues in the past 15 years, I started being treated by Grove Dental Group. It was a breath of fresh air. I’ve been going to Grove Dental now for about 3.5 years. After I believe my first 2 cleanings, which all went nicely, I was by happenstance scheduled with Dr. Angela for my next cleaning. She heard of all my past dental concerns and took matters into her own hands to make sure I received the best quality of care moving forward. Over the past 1.5-2 years, Dr. Angela treated, coordinated, and corrected all dental issues I’ve faced in the past 15 years. It was a tedious process that at times exhausted me and made me not want to continue, but the final product is outstanding and I’ve regained all of the quality of life back that I lost before I started seeing Grove Dental Group. Within the past year, I’ve now transferred my children’s care all to Grove Dental Group, as I know they are in the best hands here. We look forward to continuing our dental care here.

Experiencia negativa: My husband and I have been patients since 2019 but are in the process of looking for a new dentist. While the hygienist Helen is AWESOME, this place seems like a factory that just pushes unnecessary detail treatment, particularly crowns. Other patients I've spoken with have had the same impression. For example, they tell you you need a crown, but having already done a few between my husband and I, we started saying we were going to hold off. It's been 3 yrs and the tooth that "needed" the crown is still fine. Also, be advised that they have started charging 3 percent fee for credit card. Had I known in advance, I would have brought checkbook but this is the first time this has happened and they didn't give me a heads up when I made the appointment. I should have known, but a reminder at the time of making the appointment would be helpful. Anyway, maybe dental care is like this everywhere but my gut tells me they are putting profits ahead of patients.

Experiencia fantástica: After some insurance changes, long wait times at other offices, and honestly not making it a priority, it had embarrassingly been almost two years since my last dental checkup. Unfortunately, I had a broken filling for months that suddenly started causing significant pain, and right around the same time another filling cracked as well, also causing pain. I ended up calling Grove in a complete panic — tears and all. Even though I’m sure I wasn’t the easiest person to deal with in that moment, I was treated with so much kindness and compassion. I wasn’t even an established patient, but they still went out of their way to help me. They got me in quickly and took the time to clearly explain all of my treatment options and costs, which I truly appreciated. Everyone I interacted with was wonderful, but I’m especially grateful for Joy and Dr. C. Joy went above and beyond to help get me an appointment as soon as possible so my tooth could be saved. When I was upset and stressed, she showed so much empathy and patience. She genuinely made me feel like she cared, and that meant more than I can say in that moment. And Dr. C — wow. He has an incredible bedside manner. He’s caring, thorough, informative, and works well with his team. He made me feel confident that I was in great hands. You can tell he truly cares about his patients and takes pride in his work. What started as a stressful dental emergency turned into such a positive experience. I’m incredibly grateful for how quickly and compassionately they helped me. I now have my regular checkup scheduled and actually feel excited to continue my care with Dr. C and the Grove team. I can’t thank them enough!

Experiencia positiva: Had uppers crowned almost a year ago, they all hurt. And have hurt since getting done. Thought it was just gunna take time... 1 crown isn't on fully as I was told by Berks oral. The other was pulled. And the rest of em... They destroyed my bottom teeth and now those hurt aswell. All crowns I got, all will need to now be pulled. Wife got a crown done last year at this time aswell, and now she has pain in hers aswell. The people there are awsome. I just wish I didn't have all these issues with grove and now dental pain daily. Edit: since this post grove has since made a turn around for me. Redone all crowns, free of charge and is helping me navigate issues I have. The dentist I now have, is awesome... Dr Webber and Denise (hope I spelled it right) and all the way to the front desk Sam and others have been so helpful. Grove is making it all right in my book.

Experiencia negativa: I paid hundreds of dollars for an onlay at Grove Dental and waited two weeks for the lab to make it. At my appointment, they numbed my mouth only to find out the onlay did not fit. Their solution was to put another temporary back on and tell me to wait another two weeks for a replacement. This was their error, yet no refund or credit was offered. Each visit requires me to take time off work, and now I have to do that again because of their mistake. Once this tooth is finally fixed—since I’ve already paid—I will never return. I would not recommend this office to anyone who values their time or money. Update: Per the response below from Grove (posted this morning), no one has actually contacted me as they stated. 2nd Update: Eventually, I was contacted after emailing them. I requested a partial discount or refund of services due to the sub par patient care and communication, and was told she’d contact Dr. Angela directly. After 6 days, I was just contacted again to be informed that Dr. Angela denied any type of discount or refund on services. This is completely unacceptable on multiple levels and I’ll no longer be receiving care at Grove Dental. They play a good front of patient care, but when it comes down to it, they ultimately are more concerned about making money!

Experiencia fantástica: I am a fairly new patient at Grove Dental and have had a cleaning done where I first met Dr. C who provided a very informative check up. He provides excellent bedside manners, makes you feel relaxed and was very gentle when I had a filling done. I noticed the good rapport he has with his dental assistant and that is definately a plus. I enjoyed my experience thus far and glad I chose Grove Dental for all my dental needs.

She also coordinated with Nadia & Dr. Kari to get me an immediate follow up appointment to have a permanent filling put in which saved me a lot of time and stress. Experiencia negativa: If you are a cash pay read this; Called to schedule a dental cleaning. Last one was 2 years ago. Told them I was a cash pay. They told me about packages they offer and all that. Cool. Appointment is 2-3 months away given their “busy schedule”. Arrived at my appointment 5 minutes late due to some traffic. Checked in. They asked us if we wanted to hear their deal plans. Sure. I got one last time and didn’t use the second cleaning or X-rays so I didn’t see the value. $260 for an “evaluation and cleaning”. Go back to be told they won’t clean my teeth without X-rays. My husband got the “deal” which included 18 X-rays. 18. But they wanted him to come back for his “hour long cleaning”. They ended up doing it at his request. For me though, no X-rays no appointment. Because “the doctors want to be able to assure me I have a clean bill of health.” So basically they could have said over the phone the appointment minimum is $350. Instead they tried to upsell and refused services. Waste of my time. Asked for a refund and went elsewhere for way less. WITH RADS.

But Dr Angela always makes me feel so comfortable and her sweet and friendly demeanor just puts you at ease. She makes the experience so great and I don’t dread going to the dentist anymore! Experiencia negativa: This review is given after speaking to the office manager. The most unprofessional and unethical dental experience I’ve ever had. Jenna arrived late, rushed through my chart, ignored my history, and was rude and dismissive from the start. She forced multiple X-rays with no explanation, creating an unsafe and uncomfortable environment. Dr. Angela Walters-Hagen was equally cold, sarcastic, and condescending, even laughing when I said I wanted to leave. Furthermore, they lied to the office manager about their actions. No patient should ever be dismissed, humiliated, or disrespected for advocating for themselves or their medical history. A positive takeaway is the administrative team—Joy at the front desk and office manager, Keisha — who went above and beyond to apologize and treat me with genuine kindness and respect, which the medical staff lacked. In contrast, Jenna’s and Angela’s conduct was not only unprofessional but careless, insensitive, and unethical.

Experiencia fantástica: By fair grove dental has the best customer service around, everyone is very polite and will work with you, i was running late to my appointment and not only did they call to se if i was still coming, but after hearing i was running late even pushed the time back some so i could still be seen the same day. They also are very knowledgeable about any dental questions you might have. They also have great recommendations for oral surgeons to boot.

Experiencia fantástica: I have been coming to this dental practice for years. I have normal good experience. The girls out front are wonderful. My dental hygiene is wonderful. My dentist is wonderful but I don’t appreciate is having to put a deposit down on services that we’re not rendered yet your sign clearly says Fees due upon service. So that doesn’t mean I should have to pay for it before I even get the service. I’m not talking about the day of service. I’m talking about appointments scheduled in the. It’s sad but has turned into a corporate business instead of a caring business and I’m not talking about the people that work there I’m talking about the owners Or should I say the owners of the corporation? I’m only giving five stars because the people that worked there not because of how it’s run

Experiencia fantástica: I do not enjoy going to the dentist at all. However, Joy at the front desk is hilarious and made me feel like I was in great hands. She also explained my insurance, gave me a copy of my insurance (I don’t have a physical card) and explained it. That was a first! Than taken to my room where the best soundtrack was on, thanks to Nadia! Her amazing atmosphere, paired with Doctor Rosen was the best experience I’ve ever had. Looking forward to the dentist appointments now.

Thanks to Nadia's upbeat personality I already have a cleaning scheduled, and I'm working on getting my husband's appointment set up. Dr. Rosen took time to explain to me the plan of care, and made sure all my questions were answered. Update: MD changed the plan of care and didn't clue me in until the procedure was done. What was explained at my first visit was not what happened. The staff is super nice so it's a shame this happened, but I can't be confident in their ability to be transparent and wholly truthful. Just make sure you know what you're supposed to be having done, ask questions, and don't be afraid to speak up.

Experiencia negativa: Everyone is very nice but I don’t think if you have an appointment with the dentist they shouldn’t be with multiple patients at the same time, it causes your appointment to take twice as long and people have to get back to work.

Experiencia fantástica: Citizens of Wyomissing, fear not the dreaded dentist's chair!  I have infiltrated Grove Dental Group, and I bring good tidings.  This is no ordinary dental office, citizens, it's a veritable Batcave of oral hygiene! Nestled between a Luxe Car Wash (suspiciously spotless, I suspect Mr. Freeze's handiwork) and an Alibrije restaurant, lies a stone-walled fortress of fluoride. While the joker and his big smile were not present, Room 3 was found as the lair of the magnificent Kelly the Hygienist. Forget Vanna White and Pat Sajak, Kelly's smile and wit out-do the two. Her smile outshines the Bat-Signal, and her chair-side manner is more charming than Harley Quinn in her prime (though considerably less likely to hit you with a giant mallet). She keeps Room 3 in pristine condition, a testament to her dedication and an obvious nod to my own meticulous Batcave. Your team has been amazing, today my daughter came in for her cleaning and we ran a bit late but that didn’t stop the team from accommodating her every dental need. After her appointment the fabulous front desk, Jenny, communicated with the dental team to see if they could get her sealants same day after her cleaning. And then like magic came out Nadia the most pinkalicious beautiful person who was amazing within my daughter, she brought us to her room explained, everything not only to me but to my daughter, and from my perception she’s like this all around and was a great team member assisting her peers with questions showing patience and respect. Experiencia negativa: Came in with an appointment for my child and told the appointment was cancelled because the dentist did not have an assistant that could do a procedure. I asked the receptionist to speak to a manager. She came back several minutes later and said the scheduling manager and manager both told her the dentist was too busy to do this procedure themself. Neither manager came out and spoke with me.

Experiencia negativa: Had a cap done by Doctor Rosen?He messed it up twice. Obviously he didn't know what he was doing because he shaved my tooth too far down which caused irritation to my gums. Went to a different doctor she had to build up the tooth that he shaved too much off of. i've had nothing but problems with it since. Definitely don't recommend Doctor Rosen.

I will say the office needs to seriously consider the policy that appointments will be canceled if not confirmed. It takes months to make an appointment and if life just happens and I’m unable to confirm an appointment, then it’s just canceled.

Tiffany scheduled my appointment and was more than accommodating!- I had a surgery come up and she was able to adjust my appointment so I could still be taken care of. Great conversations and connections :) My teeth are clean and I have a sound understanding of what my treatment/care look like moving forward. The dentist I met with was informative and I felt like they have my best interest in mind.

Experiencia fantástica: I had a cleaning on 2/5 with Helen and Dr. Walter. They were fantastic, very helpful and understanding. Helen has done my cleanings there a couple time as well as my daughter she has a great personality. I’ve always dreaded cleanings but not with her. Also when checking out Tiffany at the front desk helped me with my treatment plan. She broke down everything and explained it all to me very clearly.

Dr Weber really cares for his patients and does a thorough exam and discusses any concerns I may have. Samantha at the desk was insightful to make sure of the timing of my X-rays was not done too early to ensure my insurance covered them. She was everyone’s go-to reliable resource and she handled it all professionally and with a genuine smile. This young lady thrives in a busy and demanding environment like few other individuals I’ve witnessed. My dentist and her assistant, Griselle, were great to work with as well, however, Markeisha goes above and beyond any job description that may be attached to her position. Experiencia negativa: Went to Grove for a few years for cleaning and whatnot. I'm under 25 so I'm still using my parents insurance. I come to find out that they're charging my parents for fillers I don't need, I know what to look for in X-rays and they always claim I have a small cavity somewhere and I didn't. They're overcharging us hundreds of dollars. They also didn't even fix the problem I was even having claiming the fillings would help and they all fell out after a week. I have sensitivity to cold food and I never found out how to fix it and they kept claiming that the fillings would help and it never did. Never going again

However, I recently had the pleasure of experiencing an efficient and pain-free procedure thanks to the fantastic teamwork of Nadia and Dr. Rosen. Their collaboration is truly exceptional, and it made all the difference in my comfort and overall experience. I learned that Dr. Rosen has performed well over 10,000 crown procedures within his impressive 40-year career in dentistry. That's quite a remarkable achievement! If you have a choice, I would highly recommend this all-star team for your next complex dental procedure. You won't be disappointed!

Experiencia negativa: Family has been with this place for over 10+ years. I do not recommend Grove Dental in Wyomissing anymore for their change of policy since new owners. Thousands (being modest) of dollars in dental work done per family member. Had an appointment scheduled and was told needed to pay $500.00 before service. Issue was something with insurance. Contacted them and was told this was a Grove Dental issue. As a business owner this was a bad move. I recommend you change your policies as you will continue to get these negative 1 star reviews from customers while losing their business (uh yeah word of mouth really matters guys). If you run this google profile, show this to the new operators. Happy New Years. Your good people, just now doing bad business.
