They were able to accommodate us within an hour and fixed the problem. She had a flight out of the country that night and no more pain in the gum. Thank you Delta Dental. We will be using your services for myself and my husband to.

Experiencia negativa: I have been going to Aspen Dental for years, never had a poor experience until now at this office and facility. When I was there I arrived early to fill out paperwork, the only bright side to the facility is they got me in quickly. Other than that they did x-rays but didn't even bother doing a cleaning on my teeth. Even though I mentioned I had some sensitivity in my mouth, they did not even bother offering me a cleaning. I felt like it was a money hog and all they wanted to do was x-rays to get the clients and insurance funds. They didn't even have an endodontist on site. completely useless.

Experiencia negativa: Your marketing protocol is unacceptable. Upon making an appointment, the quoted fee of $26.00 included complete x-rays, professional consultation and complete cleaning. Upon arrival the fee was demanded prior to any services. No demand for payment before services was ever made. A call by Aspen to confirm appointment again re-iterated complete x-rays, professional consultation and complete cleaning included in $26.00 fee. After x-rays and consultation, the attending dentist declared cleaning not included in $26.00 fee. This could be considered fraud and misrepresentation by the Dental Board of South Carolina. Their credibility is now in question. Would dental procedures and treatment performed be accurate and necessary? I have been going for dental treatment for 70 years and never experienced this type of dental practice. Their marketing tactics should be reviewed.

Experiencia fantástica: This dental office deserves higher than 5 stars! After years of procrastinating dental work due to anxiety, I had a wisdom tooth crack causing me pain and I needed an emergency appointment. I called and the wonderful receptionist fit me into their schedule that same week. From the moment you walk in the door, the atmosphere feels friendly. The hygienist who helped out with my X-rays and exam was so very gentle, being extra cautious around the side my wisdom tooth was, and forewarning me which X-rays might be uncomfortable. A personalized plan was made for me and explained, yet I didn’t feel pressured in the moment to worry about anything other than my problem at hand. Dr. Hansen not only reassured me she could extract my tooth, it was not the end of the world nor did it need surgery, but she made time the same day and did her job so smoothly I didn’t realize the tooth had been pulled until she said “all done!” The second hygienist who helped assist was just as fantastic, as she explained my post-op instructions and made sure I felt at ease before I left. I am now two days post-op, with no swelling or pain, and I have recommended this specific Aspen Dental location to every person I know. I will most definitely be back, and I think my fear of the dentist is cured!

Experiencia positiva: I had mouth pain in my wisdom tooth #27. I saw a promo that first visits were $29. Beautiful facility, centrally located. Nice staff. Had X-rays and examination by a hygienist. Met the DDS who also examined me and found the tooth infected. I was prescribed AMO and told the tooth needed to be extracted. On setting the date with the oral surgeon, who only comes to the facility monthly, I was shocked that the fees would be over $4500!! NO WAY!! This nicely appointed and ,independently administered facility is corporately owned and hence the massively overpriced estimate. 20 minutes later I found another Dental Clinic that will do the procedure for under $800. Got appointment for Monday.

Experiencia fantástica: From start to finish it was the absolute best dental experience I have had. Walked in the door and the woman at the front desk was super sweet we talked about my dog and her heart markings. I waited 3 min and was taken to the back by Jen to do my x rays super painless and efficient… she is also a really good singer lol very entertaining. I then had my gums and bones measured by Rose who was very knowledgeable and explained things clearly to me about what they were looking for.. I loved how she showed me things on this big screen and answered my questions.. Ive never seen that before. After some more singing lol by lovely Jen, Dr. Hanson came in and looked at my teeth and kindly explained my verdict coming up with a game plan to get things right. Super nice and comfortable to speak with. After this I sat down with Javon who was very kind and knowledgeable as he explained what Rose had told me once again and he helped my checkout and get financed very quickly.. the process was painless with Javon coaching me through it! All and all… I am seriously so grateful for the staff and Aspen dental at this location in Murrells Inlet SC.. I truly feel I’m in good hands!

Experiencia fantástica: I am an extremely nervous dental patient and only go when I have too. I also, years ago, had a very unpleasant experience with a different Aspen Dental. But this was an emergency! Boy was I glad I went. First off I don't have dental insurance, but they took x-rays and an exam for a very affordable price. Everyone who worked with me , from x-rays to pulling my tooth were great. There was no hard push to have more work done and they would check with me the entire way through to see how I was doing. When having more work done I will definitely go back to them.

Experiencia negativa: I had a horrible toothache. Got to Aspen in Murrrls inlet at 1: 30 PM. Brought me to the back, took xrays of bad tooth and placed me in an exam room. Dentist cam in and examined me and stated she could remove the tooth. I consented and she gave ma novacane injections. About 2:00 PM. She started poking and proving on the tooth to allow her to use players to remove it. I will say the tooth was already broken and somewhat decayed, but she was fully aware. I started experiencing excruciating pain so she gave me more novacane. She then started again and more of the tooth broke, but I still felt pain. By now it was almost 3:30 and I was exhausted and frustrated. Finally with the tooth still in my mouth, I was advised to see an oral surgeon. I went to an oral surgeon the same day , got there around 4:15 PM, the oral surgeon removed three bad teeth including the one Aspen couldn't remove in about 45 minutes. Not happy at all.

He’s such a great person to set the tone (greeting) for your visits. This was my first time receiving services at Aspen and I have definitely found my forever dental home. Although I was very nervous about the process for my desired services, the dental group reassured me that I would be ok and that I would love the results. I can truly say that they have exceeded my expectations. I indeed love my results. Everyone at this location is simply AMAZING! Most importantly, my process was painless and a breeze! You all are greatly appreciated for calming my nerves and ensuring that I was ok along the way.

The intake and x-rays went quickly, the meeting with the doctor resulted in a thorough summary and action plan. The meeting with the manager explained the finances with my Medicare advantage plan. Overall, very pleased with the experience.

Experiencia fantástica: A+++ Jules, Kelsey, Dr Henson.(sorry I think I lost the paper out the car I hope I got all the names right) I’m 27 years of age and this was the best dental visit I’ve ever had. I spoke with three different dental specialist just for my exam, they were very thorough. I thought my teeth was on the way to done for and they was like “girl what you talking about? We’ve seen worse.” and they really did show me worse with a tooth from a previous patient. I think by how excited she was to show me she really kinda enjoys her job and that’s a dang good thing. Made me feel like she was here for her patients and not just payment. they say they can save my teeth and give me a healthy mouth and smile and while dental care is expensive to someone like me no matter where you go the full price is soooooooo much less than I was ready for. Feeling really confident after this visit

Experiencia fantástica: My 83 yo father-in-law has had a lot of trouble with his teeth, but Aspen Dental has made it very easy and made a clear plan for what needed to be done. He’s wheelchair bound, but she’s worked around his limitations. Kelsey had the job of cleaning and scaling his neglected teeth before any denture work could begin. She was so gentle with him and explained how he should be caring for his teeth. When we are there for appointments with the dentist, Kelsey always comes in to ask about him. Her kindness is very important to us

Experiencia positiva: I had a cleaning that was a follow up appointment. I entered the building ten minutes before my appointment time. The front desk person was on the phone and I had to wait about seven minutes, standing there before he greeted me. Then I gave my name and what I was there for. He said it would cost an amount that I had not expected, given my insurance and their policy that’s like a membership that I had paid for last time I was there, still it was over a hundred dollars. I took out my bank card to offer to him. He said that he would send me a link so I could enter all the details and pay on my phone. He did send the link and I had to enter my card number and all my information to this company I had never heard of - so now they have my information and my bank card information, terrific! It sure was easier for him! Then I sat and waited. 20 minutes after my appointed time, the hygienist came and apologized for the wait and thanked me for waiting. The cleaning was great, she offered advice and said I was doing a great job cleaning my teeth and gums. I refused the fluoride treatment that she was about to do as part of the cleaning that is usually included and that I had been charged for without asking if I even wanted it. She said she would remove the charges for the fluoride. So overall, the system is not to my liking , making me wait, and making me share info with a third party, and assuming the fluoride was wanted, but the hygienist is nice.

Experiencia negativa: Stay away from this place!!! First appointment I had a front tooth pulled. They asked me if I wanted a bridge and said that my insurance covered it. They gave me an appointment for the molding to be done. Went to that appointment and nobody had me down for an appointment. Made another appointment and came to that appointment and Noone had any knowledge of that appointment. Made another appointment. Got in the chair and Dentist said he was getting ready to fill my cavities. I said I am here for a mold for my bridge. Made the mold for my bridge. While making my next appointment they said I owed 990.00 for the bridge. I said the lady told me that my insurance covers it. They brought another person over and she looked at the computer and said that it was covered. I said Thank You. Came to next appointment for the bridge and again said I owed 990.00. I went home and called to speak to a supervisor who said she would take care of because they made a mistake. Well now I have a collection agency calling me everyday!!!

I went into the Aspen Dentsl in Murrells Inlet and I was a nervous wreck. They said they had to take X-rays. The technician was very professional. She explained everything she was doing. The dentist was very professional also. I have been back for a deep cleaning and the hygienist was very professional and caring. I can say they made me feel comfortable and relaxed. From the time you walk through the front door you are greeted with professionalism and caring. I would give more stars if I could. Robert Wilkins

Scheduled appointment, was notified 30 minuets later via text to call and confirm, confirmed appointment, was called less than 5 minuets later notifying me they canceled appointment then without explanation was transferred to 800 number to reschedule. 100% would NOT Recommend if you are seeking Professional not to mention Adequate Care.

Received txt today, 1/10/26, to call to reschedule. When I called I was told they DOUBLE BOOK and "I" needed to reschedule for another time. Bullshit business practice. Dont let Aspen waste your time!!

Experiencia negativa: Woman doing X-rays was so ruff jamming the plastic device in my mouth it caused pain in the bottom of my mouth that has lasted for days. Worse than the pain from the tooth extraction.

Experiencia fantástica: I don’t usually write reviews, but I had to this time because I had such an awesome experience. I’ve had a lot of negative experiences with dentist offices in the past- and admittedly usually avoid them now, but had to go get a cavity filled when it started causing me significant pain. The staff at this location is wonderful. Everyone was so kind and helpful, and continually checked in to make sure I was comfortable, informed, and happy with everything that was going on. My first visit was during a “new patient no insurance” type of promo, so I had x rays and was checked over thoroughly and was not charged. They scheduled me for the cavity filling for a few days after the first appointment and I think the cost was pretty reasonable, I think around $250 with no insurance. They made sure I didn’t have any pain before the cavity was filled, and when I said there might be a little pain they immediately corrected it and gave me more novocaine. Everyone I spoke with was kind and helpful and not judgmental (I was way past due for dental care lol) and the cavity was filled insanely fast, I think only 3 songs played on their radio for the entirety of the procedure. They gave me a whole treatment plan for everything they recommend for me (a lot), but there was no pressure to schedule until I was ready to do so. My tooth feels great and I can chew on the right side of my mouth again! Awesome awesome people. Great experience and totally erased my stress regarding dentist appointments, can’t recommend them enough!!

They cancelled my scheduled appointment after I left work and letting me wait for 15 minutes in the waiting room they would not see me because my extraction was preformed at a different location that they did not receive payment for. After I left the office the dentist called in a prescription for steroids when I never saw or talked to him. Very dangerous money hungry practice of medicine.

Experiencia negativa: I had severe tooth pain it took 2 weeks to get in. When I did I had 6 shots and could still feel the pain. The dentist said he could not do the work. I was told I would be refunded my money. They took it out of my account before I even left the chair. I am still waiting for my refund more than a week later! If they can take it out tjat fast why can they not refund it just as fast! I felt like a number in this place not a person. They were less than helpful. I gave 2 stats because staff was polite.

Experiencia fantástica: Due to my insurance I have gone for just over two years without lower dentures. When you walk in you feel right at home every member of staff is smiling and very welcoming. I’m so sorry I don’t remember my dentist’s name, but he is awesome. This is my third set of lower dentures and I can honestly say these are the best. They fit perfectly, no fixodent needed. I would highly recommend you use this office, not just dentures, any dental work. They are truly exceptional. Thank you for making me so happy.

Experiencia negativa: This place is a joke. I made an appointment and then 20 minutes later they didn’t have an opening. Went to a real dentist in Pawleys Island SC and dealt with our own community people. Aspen Dental is like dealing with a fast food restaurant with no employees that are qualified for the job. Everyone in this area is sick of that mess.

Experiencia fantástica: I started very apprehensive when I started my process with Aspen. Nothing to do with Aspen…it was me, not comfortable with dentists and needles. It didn’t take long for those feelings to change. Dr. Ganther and his team were fantastic. Very caring, kind, and professional. I would like to thank each and everyone of them Javon, Jessica, Alaje, Jules, Amanda, Trish and of course Dr. Ganther. I will recommend Aspen, and I have already done so, to anyone who asks about dental care.

Experiencia negativa: Horrible patient care by the Dentist himself. He barely introduced himself before telling me I had a horrible infection, needed to extract a tooth and needed a crown on another. He looked in my mouth for maybe 3 seconds. Would not go back. He didn’t seem trustworthy.
