I was first greeting by 2 friendly gals at the front desk. the dental assistants were amazing at the x-rays and making me feel comfortable. i have never had a doctor like Dr.Varga he is so understanding!!!! Finally i sat down with the office manager Adam… My first thought was that the prices for my work would be out of this world but, Adam sat down with me and talked about finances and best options that fit me and my life style. I love this office!

Experiencia fantástica: The staff (Shawna, London and Dr. Varga) were all so sweet and patient! It took a little longer than expected to get my infected tooth out (not their fault at all it was just a big one!) and they were so patient and kept re assuring me that it was going great.

Experiencia fantástica: I had an amazing experience from my very first visit. Kimberlyn is an amazing hygienist. Very kind and did an awesome job with my cleaning! Dr. Varga is a great dentist and explains everything very well. I had an extraction and him and Shawna really helped with my dental anxiety. Shawna was checking on me through the whole procedure as well to make sure I was comfortable. I was expecting to be in a lot of pain and Dr Varga did such a great job that I had no issues with it! I would highly recommend anyone going there. The staff is so sweet from reception to the xray tech. Plus their facility is very clean! So thats definitely a plus!

Experiencia negativa: My husband had all his teeth pulled out in December of last year and had great care here at this location and we proceeded to order dentures . He was fitted and we waited for them to come in . Everything and everyone was wonderful, great service . Then the dentures came in and they didn’t fit. My husband went back several times to say that the bottom ones kept falling out no matter what he did to make them stick . He wanted to know what he should do, however he was rushed out and they didn’t want to help him at all. I’m sorry , I don’t think we should have to pay thousands of dollars for a product that isn’t working correctly. What kind of company doesn’t stand by their product to make it right ? My husband is so upset and self conscious, with no teeth and it’s so hard for him to eat . He didn’t even want to come back in and fight with them he’s so upset but I am livid . I think Aspen Dental should make this right , especially since we are still paying for the dentures. Thinking about retaining a lawyer .

Experiencia fantástica: My experience was fantastic. I had to get two molers removed that were both badly broken. Dr Varga did an outstanding job of extracting, making it a very painless visit. Lead DA Shawna did amazing assisting as well as helping to make me feel confident when I felt anxious. Thank you both extremely, I will definitely be back for future appointments.

Experiencia negativa: Horrible professionalism and horrible experience. Went in with an infected tooth ( after confirming at Stat Care and receiving antibiotics). Followed up with Aspen dental the same day. Dentist took x-ray and told me to continue the antibiotics. Never once told me that the tooth had abscess called in the very next day to express my concerns with how swollen my face had become was told by the receptionist to continue the antibiotics, I asked to speak with a medical professional since the front desk receptionist wasn’t qualified to diagnosed me. Spoke with dental assistant Who told me to continue the antibiotics? Needless to say, I ended up in the hospital for three days with fear of becoming sepsis, My infection spread so bad that I had to have an emergency procedure to have the infection removed and remained in the hospital for several days. Also, the office manager is uneducated and inexperience on how to read. Insurance told me several things were not covered by my insurance, and I would have to pay cash when they were in fact covered fully by insurance. They’re negligence was very close to costing me my life. I was in two separate hospitals due to the amount of infection and the severity of the infection that I had.

Staff was very friendly, and the Dentist was cognizant of financial concerns and not pushing for us to have unnecessary treatment. Hard to find businesses that aren’t just out to make a buck anymore.

Experiencia negativa: Dentist did not speak English very well. And the referral was lousy. Said assess and treat. Didnt day which teeth had the deep cavities on them. Very poor.

Charged me 160 dollars to tell.me what I already knew then wanted me to pay up front just to schedule an extraction they couldn't do till the following week so much for emergency service. They're the worst; I've been fighting with them for 6 years over terrible treatment and dentures that have NEVER fit correctly, have had teeth fall/break off the denture and have had to have work done on remaining teeth that Aspen SHOULD have but didn't!! Only marked one star because there isn't a negative rating!!!

Experiencia fantástica: I visited this office after a concerning evaluation from a different Aspen office. I wanted to use this office from the beginning but my insurance was confusing and I didn't have coverage at this location. It's a long story. My other visit went so bad I was so worried it would be a waste of time to try to go to this office. I'm happy to say that this was one of the best dentist experiences I have ever had! Everyone at the office was so nice and helpful. My insurance made things a challenge but the girls at the front desk went above and beyond for me and I think we will get it sorted out. Jacob was an amazing assistant and made sure all my questions were addressed during my visit. Dr. Varga listened to my concerns and offered reasonable treatments. I am not just giving them a good review because I liked their opinion more than the other office, it was the whole overall experience that made the difference. I had my cleaning done the next day by Kimberlyn which was also a wonderful visit. She made me feel so comfortable because I was really nervous to have my teeth cleaned. You can tell everyone at this office cares about their patients and wants the best for them. I am truly grateful that a bad experience led me to the best experience at this office.

Shes like number 1 in my opinion. Please go in and get a cleaning from her she is gental and kind and understanding. The dental assistance looked like they are supper hard workers and great with patients from what I saw. Deanna the OL was so kind and running around keeping front going. DR. Experiencia fantástica: I went to Aspen with tooth pain, throbbing with every heartbeat on Monday. Dr. Varga was the dentist. He prescribed Antibiotics because I had an abcess. He wanted me back in Friday, so I didn't have to suffer through the weekend, and allowing the Antibiotics to help the infection. I went in Friday, he was very friendly, explained everything he was going to do, and what was being done. Dr. Varga, Jacob, Hannah, and Shawna were very kind, caring, and compassionate! I have a huge fear of the dentist. Due to not going as a child and just overall fearful. Today, they made me comfortable and made sure i knew every step of what was happening. I will be sure to ask for Dr. Varga every time now when scheduling at Aspen! Thanks again for the kindness and the expertise!

Experiencia fantástica: I am an eighty nine year old with extensive dental experiences. I wear full arch anchored dentures installed by a dental firm in Denver Colorado in need of repair. I searched for weeks for a dentist willing to take on the type needed and I finally wound up at Aspen Dental in New Philadelphia. When they heard my story they immediately assured me that they had the tools, knowledge and material in stock to make the repair. When I arrived for my appointment only a few days later I was treated cordially with respect and professionalism. Dr. Varga carefully showed and explained what and how he intended to fix the problem. Though things don't always turn out as expected, there was a problem that required a return visit. Upon my return visit Dr. Varga was prepared with a plan, a special tool and within a matter of minutes accomplished his plan graciously. I believe my review of Dr. Varga and the entire staff at Aspen Dental deserve a six star review. And now I have established a dental team that I can trust with confidence.

Experiencia negativa: The manager doesn't now how to explain the different pricing between extraction and oral surgeon visits, half explains things then have you sign thinking you had everything taken care of only to find out you still owe more and they refuse you even no matter what. Fire that office manager. I came in for 1 specific reason and paid for that 1 specific reason. Then refused to let me explain the conversation we had where I said I only need 1 thing done and the rest can wait. Not only did I not get taken care of I was lied to and refused any sort of respect since it was my word against his. I was told I could only pay to get done what I needed to get done so I did that. My visit today was for only the 1 specific thing that I paid for completely. Absolutely will never return, I have never seen anything more disrespectful

He explained the treatment plan and options regarding my case and made me feel comfortable He let me make the best decision that worked for me. He never pushed me to do anything I did not want to do. The best part about it is that I was absolutely PAIN FREE. He did six crowns for me and they all turned out beautiful. I couldn’t be happier with the results. Toothfully, our visit was a good time. Jacob did the X-rays and he was very kind and professional. Dr Varga was a fun character and made the entire thing comfortable. Thank you to all the kindness felt. The warmth here made the vulnerability of having teeth checked into a perfectly normal and pleasant experience.

Experiencia negativa: I had a wisdom tooth pulled and another tooth, pulled, approximately 4 days later I am in horrible pain, called and got an appointment, thinking maybe I needed an antibiotic, the dentist looked in my mouth and had a metal tool in his hand it hit my gum, I was crying and upset, it hurt!! He said I could numb you and remove the bone chips, but you are already so anxious... we will just let them come out on they're own... he preceeded to tell me when puss is oozing out of my mouth to give him a call and he will call me in an antibiotic, I have never received such horrible care, I am still very miserable. After receiving leagal advice, I am in the process of reporting this to Ohio State dental board. UPDATE: The dentist that did that to me is no longer at Aspen Dental 44663, they have a new dentist who is very nice, he has went above and beyond to help remove the bones that were causing me a lot of discomfort fom previous dentist, I just wanted to say thank you Aspen dental!!

Experiencia fantástica: Everyone was really nice, I had an assessment done and exam for 29$, the X rays were basically free. It is expensive (for what I need) but they do offer payment plans. Anyone reading this, please protect your teeth, because once you start needing major dental care, the price is much higher. Your teeth are something that can’t just be fixed as easily as a muscle etc, so protect your health above all!

The xray tech was out standing and had a sense of humor. Dr. Varga took care of me and the Assistant was awesome. Really down to earth.I have had quite a few teeth pulled over the years and the dentist always had trouble not Dr. Varga handle it like a experience dentist. All the staff is super friendly and short waiting times for appointments. The office and xray tech and surgey rooms were clean. Trust me I look. The price was very reasonable.

Experiencia positiva: I like the place, at first the asst seemed a little rude, but might have been in a hurry/rushed, the denist was ok, I had better, just seemed to be having a difficult time filling my tooth on the left side, I ask him then about my dentures, being able to see through them, I just got a month ago or so, they did try to put a little filling on then, told me that the dentures are made like that that you can see through them. I’m hoping they ask more than a few months., for the money I paid for them.!! So this all happened around 12pm, I couldn’t eat, it was till around 8 pm, I did try to eat soft green beans and potatoes and small pieces of ham, all that was on and recooked from the day before, but yes, the filling on left tooth broke off, ok now Saturday, I called first thing in morning and now they can’t get me in till Monday at 5:00PM, fingers crossed everything goes ok, yes I did bite my tongue,Ouch

I will continue to come to this aspen dental in Philly for as long as I live in this area. Building is clean, well kept, smells clean, and easy to navigate. I can't stress enough how lovely the staff really is, they have blown every other dentist office I've ever been to out of the water.

Experiencia negativa: I am MONUMENTALLY disappointed with the care I received from Aspen Dental in New Philadelphia, Ohio earlier today. (10am). I presented with an exposed nerve on a molar and a tooth infection (same tooth). I practically had to beg this guy for Antibiotics... Duh... After some persistence on my part, the Dentist placed an order for Amoxicillin. Thank you so much Doc. I know that must have been very taxing for you. I went on to explain that I have a chronic illness that is Ulcerative Colitis and that I can not take NDAIDs. For this reason I asked if my Dentist would consider prescribing Prednisone, which I have taken in the past for my U/C. I was shut-down and told this is only prescribed for Wisdom teeth extraction. WOW. What a convenient ONE-SIZE-FITS-ALL strategy for Aspen Dental. I suppose it's too much to expect this Aspen Dental doctor to exercise just a tiny bit of common sense and realize that because his patient can't tolerate NDAIDs, that a different anti-inflammatory is indicated. This Dentist told me, "That's all I have for you". He said continue taking Tylenol. Hopefully, I won't get Liver failure from His direction, as I explained that Tylenol is the only thing I can take and have been taking as much as I can but without relief. In any case, this is the worst Dentistry experience I've had in my life, at 59 years old. This is my free advice, Unless you are COMPLETELY DESPERATE for immediate dental care and have No other options, take your chances with Aspen Dental, otherwise, do yourself a favor and avoid Aspen Dental LIKE THE PLAGUE. Your welcome.

Experiencia fantástica: Very courteous. They were able to reschedule me for an earlier appointment. That worked out for me. From the front desk all the way to my chair everyone was friendly & smiled which was comforting. Gave me written instructions & I had to ask them to repeat verbal instructions twice. Not their fault. I didn't understand the instructions, so they repeated it with a polite voice & smile. They made sure I understood before they continued to the next procedure. My partial fits nicely. No problems so far. Exam went well. I feel better knowing the next treatment in September will keep me healthy & I can smile again with the new partial. Thanks to everyone!!

Experiencia fantástica: I’m usually terrified of the dentist, especially when it comes to getting teeth pulled, I’ve never had a dentist like this, Dr, Mina is a really good doctor, he recently pulled two teeth on me and prior dentists and a different location and office, they were rough, numbing shots were extremely painful and they didn’t seem like they cared, Dr. Mina gave me my numbing shots and I was shocked, I barley felt the needle, didn’t even hurt really, DA- Jacob was also very helpful and very knowledgeable, both did a great job, great staff all around

Experiencia negativa: I would give them zero but it doesn’t give that option, so it’ll be a 1 star for me, there was a lot of racism going on there, the doctor was rough when handling my extraction dosed me up to the point where every part of my face was numb except the area that needed numbing, my experience there was absolutely horrible and the service is just completely unprofessional and unacceptable a piece of tooth was left in and doctor showed no remorse or concern whatsoever now I have to find another facility to take care of it sad thing is nobody wants to touch what he messed up and I don’t plan on ever going back there again or ever recommending anyone to them ever, sad how people can be so inhumane.

Experiencia negativa: I confirmed my appointment through the email they sent me but unfortunately it did not process from technical issues. I had a late afternoon appointment, instead of calling or texting me the day of appointment, I arrived to be told they canceled the appointment and I had to reschedule. Obviously inconvenient as I now have to replan my work schedule for another aappointmentwhen this could have been resolved with a simply call or text. Lazy on their part.

The Dr.'s assistant Jacob was great. Very reassuring and comforting throughout the process. Dr. M was attentive to all my questions and concerns. His approach was professional but not hurried. He and Jacob took care of business and even walked me out as I thanked everyone. Also Adam was patient with me as I had questions about my treatment plan and options. My wife and I will be using them again for all our dentistry needs.

Experiencia negativa: Disappointed and Frustrated – A Cautionary Experience with Aspen Dental. My experience with Aspen Dental has been persistently disappointing, and I feel compelled to share this in the hope that others can make more informed decisions. From the beginning, there were ongoing billing discrepancies, with procedures initially stated to be covered at 100% ultimately resulting in unexpected out-of-pocket costs. This issue was further compounded by ineffective financial management—calls went unreturned, and escalations to corporate provided no resolution. The financial side of the practice is disorganized and unresponsive, leading to frustration and confusion rather than clarity and trust. Beyond billing, the clinical treatment planning has been questionable at best. I was recommended procedures that, according to a second opinion from a new dentist, appear to have been premature or improperly performed. This has resulted in further dental issues that should not have developed so soon after supposedly “completed” work. Continued periodontal treatments have proven ineffective, raising concerns about the overall quality and appropriateness of care. One of the most unsettling aspects of my experience has been the constant turnover of staff and dentists. There seems to be no continuity in care, and each new provider defers responsibility to the previous one. This revolving door of personnel has only deepened the lack of accountability and consistency. Online reviews consistently mention these same concerns—unresolved billing issues, questionable treatment planning, staff turnover, and ineffective follow-up care—which I now understand to be more than isolated incidents. Aspen Dental may be a convenient option, but my advice is to proceed with caution. A lack of professionalism and transparency, both administratively and clinically, has made this experience not only costly but incredibly frustrating.

Experiencia fantástica: Greatest cleaning and dental experience ive had in a while. Dr Mina was very nice and Kimberlyn was very thorough. Shawna who took my xrays was my favorite, very quick and efficient!

Experiencia fantástica: Had a cracked molar, was able to get an exam appointment the same day. Doctor recommended pulling it. I was prepared to make another appointment and pick up pain meds, but they had a cancellation and put me in that slot. Was in and done in less than 90 minutes for everything. Staff was all professional and kind, doctor was attentive and careful. No pain during the extraction. Although my insurance covered most of the cost, it would have been reasonable without insurance. ( Not cheap, but not outrageous. ) Very happy and will be back for routine care.

Experiencia negativa: At no time during my oral exam was a deep cleaning mentioned. I was told my teeth looked good. When I went to schedule a cleaning, the office manager said I needed a deep cleaning and it would cost $339 after insurance and my follow up cleaning would cost close to $140 after insurance. I have decided to go back to my original dentist. The only reason I left him was insurance. He charges less for xrays and cleaning than Aspen does for just a cleaning.

They answered any questions that I asked, which were few because they were ready with answers for just about anything. I appreciated this since I have a fear of dentists, and they made me very calm through the process.

Experiencia fantástica: As someone scared of the dentist I just finished my second visit first to prep for a crown second for a deep root cleaning. Between the dentist, hygienist, and the dental assistant they have all done their best to put me at ease with great success. I can tell you their focus has been on the patient. You don't have to deal with pain and they make you as comfortable as possible to get the job done. I was prepared to be miserable after the cleaning. to my surprise the Novocain wore off and aside from great feeling teeth and a little sensitivity... no pain. My crown prep was amazing. We started I could feel a little heat from the drill and the dentist made a Novocain stop let it numb and then went back to it. My dental assistant is super pleasant and puts you at ease quickly. The assistants work goes unnoticed but she was hopping the whole time. Don't wait 25 years to go to the dentist out of fear. Go and talk with the staff and let my dental team help you too. It's worth it. You'll leave with a smile!

Experiencia fantástica: Was worried about getting my teeth fixed. My dentist quit or moved during the shut down for the pandemic. I struggled finding a dentist that accepted my insurance close to home. Aspen dental accepts it and they got me in within 2 days of making my appointment. Took x-rays, spoke with the dentist who was very nice, then spoke to the financial department where he worked with me and my insurance company to get what I wanted done. NO PUSHING!! Then helped me get financing to cover my out.of pocket amount. I have an appointment tomorrow to get the 1st procedure done NOT weeks or months out!! Fingers crossed all of my visits are so smooth!!
