Experiencia fantástica: We received a mailer toward the end of last summer while we were in the process of switching our family’s dental care from Northern Virginia to Culpeper. After looking into local options for our children, we decided to give this practice a try for their dental checkups and future dental needs. We brought the kids in for their first visit sometime in September/October and met with Dr. Andrews. We were really impressed with how kind, professional, and knowledgeable he was when it came to our children’s dental care. He took the time to explain things clearly and made the experience feel comfortable and reassuring for both the kids and us as parents. The rest of the staff were also incredibly welcoming and did a great job helping our children feel at ease in what was a completely new environment for them. All in all, we couldn’t have asked for a better pediatric dental practice here in Culpeper. We’re very happy we found this office and look forward to continuing our kids’ care here. Thanks again to Dr. Andrews and the entire team!

They were calm, kind, and made her feel so comfortable during the entire process. We’re so grateful for the care and compassion they showed.

Experiencia positiva: Overall this practice has the ability to be amazing. I will say my experience has solely been with Dr. Amante and I cannot speak to the other doctor that as joined the practice. My son especially enjoyed going and felt comfortable every time he went. The staff was always friendly, quick to respond to any questions or help with scheduling. I have struggled however with being made to feel like a bad parent over cavities, and felt pressured into my children having costly anesthesia. While some attempt was made for my son including using gas first, we were pushed straight to anesthesia for my daughter. There is no written communication following a major procedure either to allow anxious parents the ability to better understanding of what was done especially if it was different from the original action plan. This has led to confusion, frustration and increased anxiety. I wish I could love them more, but I don't feel pushing parents to use one method of treatment without any discussion of other options is fully ethical or professional. While I'm hopeful this will be addressed going forward, just remember to push for other options because Dr. Amante doesn't feel it's necessary to give them. He feels its best to make a plan based on his feelings only and not offer alternatives to parents. Based on a conversation with the alternative doctor he seems to have a more open approach however.

Experiencia fantástica: So my kiddo had a procedure here this morning, and we've been coming here for ages but today was just a great showcase of how obviously Dr Amante and his team loves their job. He was efficient but gentle with my kiddo and my child's previous nervousness practically melted away and everything was done so quickly. And let's not forget the dental assistant, she was so accommodating and answered all our questions so patiently, she's a saint. Cuz I know we can be an annoying family lol. Kiddo is post-procedure now and he feels great, hes his usual chipper self. He doesn't seem traumatized like I was when I had a similar procedure around his age, and I'm so happy about that. This dentist is the type you'll bend over backwards to keep with your kid right up til they turn 18, I swear to you ✋️ Good doc, Good staff, Good office, Good experience, 5/5 stars

My son has a medical condition that requires extra patience and care for dental work, and the entire team at Culpeper Pediatric Dentistry worked together and created a positive and successful experience for him for the first time. They also did an incredible job with my 7 year old daughter. They have an excellent system of communication from the receptionists to the nurses to the doctor. Nothing falls through the cracks here, every detail of patient care is noticed and cared about. I couldn’t believe how good they are with kids, and you can tell they really care about their patients. I will never go anywhere else!

This office is the perfect place for him as everyone was patient and allowed him to take breaks if/when he needed. They are always encouraging him and staying calm. Their bedside manner is what is going to keep us coming back!

We were referred to Culpeper Kids Dentistry by our regular dentist due to her high anxiety surrounding the bonding repair process. Dr. Amante and his team saw her within 24 hours of the referral and repaired the teeth with no pain or anxiety for my daughter. It was a positive experience for both of us and her smile looks perfect!

Experiencia fantástica: Absolutely adore this office! This whole team was so lovely and kind. I called to get my daughter scheduled and at the time they were on a cancellation list for appointments for new patients. I got a call a couple days later with an appointment. My daughter is 3 turning four in about a month and was nervous for her first appointment. She hasn’t had the best time at doctors visits in the past but the team made her feel so comfortable. They have stickers and prizes and make sure your child knows what each thing is for. They even let my daughter touch the brush with her finger before they cleaned her teeth so she could understand it wouldn’t hurt. They handed her a special coin to pick a prize from the prize machine (plenty of adorable prizes that any kid would love) and now she can’t wait to come back again. It is so refreshing to see a team of people cater to young kids so they don’t have to fear appointments. I will be recommending them to any mom with young ones!
