Experiencia fantástica: Having three appointment at once seemed like it was going to be very stressful (especially when two of them are under 5 years old). However, they have such a caring team and know how to handle these patient kids of mine. They were so sweet and kind to each of my kids. I love this place for my kid's dental needs.

Experiencia negativa: We used to really love this office. The front staff is amazing and so are the hygienists, which is the only reason this is 2 stars. We recently came in to have a few cavities filled and left feeling very frustrated. Yes, my child is emotional. Yes, he was scared. Yes, he cried and freaked out a bit. He is a CHILD. I just don’t feel that any of that is justification for being rough or for the snarky rude comments we received from Dr. Roth. I get it’s frustrating, but if you can’t deal with kids, don’t work with kids. I see all of the reviews about gentleness, but we received everything but that from Dr. Roth. Definitely won’t be back.

They have always treated us with kindness and our daughter has recieved only the best care. Dr. Roth has always been very gentle with her in the way he speaks to her and checks her teeth. He is thorough and always asks if we have any questions. And we're always done with our appointments in good time. I also really liked that we were offered our own little waiting room so I didn't have to worry about constantly keeping my very active daughter out of mischief. We are very pleased with our experience here!

Experiencia fantástica: We love southridge pediatric !! Have been going for 10 years now and will never go anywhere else! Staff is amazing and so friendly! Both Dr Roth and farnsworth are amazing to work with! My kids feel comfortable and love going to the dentist. Last year on Christmas Eve my daughter chipped her tooth and Dr Roth came in to smooth it out and ease her concerns ! He made sure to let me know that was not a big deal that we came in on a big holiday that he loves helping his patients out. I will always recommend them to family and friends.

Experiencia positiva: We have been coming to this office for years. Mostly good experiences. With many office changes lately I was unaware of the location switch again. A text, email or even a call would have been nice announcing NEW Location so that I wasn’t late to the last two times they switched places. Also the girls who clean my kids teeth didn’t even speak to the kids. Other than what flavor and what toothbrush do you want. Why not a little small talk, ask the kids a few fun questions to show you are caring and kind. My kids didn’t like that nobody spoke to them. But I really like the dentist so that makes us want to keep going. A bit more friendliness would go a long way with us!

Experiencia fantástica: I can’t say enough good things about this office. I have four kids, and they all love coming here. Dr. Farnsworth is the best. Truly every staff member is kind, patient, and great with kids. We are always treated with so much care, and there have been multiple times they’ve helped us out in a pinch and fit us in quickly. It’s rare to find a place where kids and parents both feel excited and comfortable and this office does exactly that.

Experiencia negativa: We are new in town and was looking for a dentist for the kiddos. Sadly this won’t be the place. For one the office looks like it’s made for adults not children. We waited almost a hour to be called back. They seen one of my kids and then we waited almost another hour for the dentist to come look at the X-rays because he was working on a cavity. No one has two hours to spend at a dentist office for kiddos. The hygienists were amazing. The dentist was nice. However, my daughter has braces. She hasn’t had a single cavity in 10 years. And he kept saying she needs to get her braces off as soon as possible to prevent cavities. He said it more than once. Like we choose when braces come on or off. I think our orthodontist knows best and when they want them off I’m sure they will be taken off. This office may be a great fit for some. But for us we will be looking elsewhere. (Once again to the hygienist you were AMAZING)

Experiencia fantástica: We started seeing Dr. Farnsworth about 4 years ago when our daughter was 5. She had experienced oral trauma requiring surgery at Primary's and traumatic dental experiences with our last pediatric dentist where she had teeth extracted before she was numb. We searched high and low for a provider who understood these traumatic experiences and who was willing to work through them with us. Dr. Farnsworth has always been kind, patient and understanding with our daughter. The entire team works endlessly to ensure the kids are not scared of going to the dentist. They take time to explain procedures to both parents and the kids. We have always been treated with great respect and we are so thankful for the ongoing care we receive from Southridge. Without them, I know our daughter would still be kicking, screaming and in hysterics with evey dental exam. Because of Southridge, we are able to get through exams with minimal issues and when anxieties arise during procedures, Dr. Farnsworth slows down and prioritizes keeping our daughter calm and minimizing fears before proceeding. I cannot put into words how thankful our family is for this team of dental miracle workers.

Experiencia fantástica: I wouldn’t take my daughter anywhere else. They are patient, kind, and very good at what they do.

Experiencia positiva: I am torn with how I feel about Southridge. My kids always had a decent time there considering and liked the Drs. My daughter had work done there in November. I had to jump through hoops to get my insurance changed to one they accepted. Then I don’t get a bill from them for months. No phone call nothing. Then when I get the bill nothing was covered by the insurance. So while I am dealing with that I get a mother letter saying they sent my file to collections. This less than 2 weeks after I get the first bill. So I guess they expect me to just come up with $1100 at the drop of a hat. Needless to say we won’t be going back there due to their shady billing.

Experiencia fantástica: I have a special needs son, who doesn’t like anyone doing anything in his mouth. Dr Roth and the staff have always been so gracious and kind towards my son.

Experiencia negativa: These people are rude, and one of the doctors looks down on you if there is anything remotely wrong with your childrens oral health. I can't stand these people. How they have so many stars blows my mind because they have been nothing but rude to our family.

Experiencia fantástica: Love this office! I have been taking my kids here for over 12 years. The front office is incredible. They know their stuff and they are not going to work you over. Both dentists are phenomenal. My kids would come until they are 40 if they let them.

Experiencia fantástica: Love them and miss them. We mostly saw doctor Roth but occasionally saw Farnsworth and you can’t go wrong. Both of these guys are amazing at what they do and so kind with both kids and parents. We moved away and I called to ask them about the suggested dental work for our 2 year old and doctor Farnsworth got on the phone to better explain the pros and cons. Miss you guys! Thank you for being amazing!

Experiencia negativa: We used to love this place we have been coming here since both my kids, we're babies. the dentists and dental assistance are great but the people that handle the telephone calls are quite rude and disrespectful. 2 people today they called me and asked if I was comming to an appointment. I mistakenly took them for my daughter's doctor who we were going to see today and she was rude and told me we had to find a new dentist, because we completely left them wide open, and I explained to her that I didn't even know we had appointments today. She proceeded to hang up on me. With no other explanations, it's sad because my children really loved the dentist. We will now be finding a new dentist. Looks like stansbury, pediatric dentistry, we'll be getting our business from now on.

Experiencia fantástica: Absolutely the best dentist we have ever gone to! My daughter has Pierre Robin Syndrome and the dentist we had prior just wasn’t meeting our needs. We decided to try someone new and our expectations were far exceeded! Dr. Roth addressed all our questions and concerns. He made our kids feel at ease, gave high fives, talked to the kids and let them know they were doing awesome! Never once did we feel like we were being scolded or put down. A professional dental office who really does put the patient first.

Dr. Roth at Southridge Pediatric Dentistry in Tooele was absolutely amazing. He has a calm and friendly presence, he was patient and kind. After the exam he took the extra effort to comfort my son and reassure him, give him high fives and leave the visit on a positive note. His assistant Lindsay was also personable, kind and reassuring. Experiencia negativa: I have always had a good experience here until today. The secretaries and dentists have always been amazing! However my son went to Dr. Roth and had such a horrible experience. My son who is a teenager was in so much pain and repeatedly told the Dr. The Dr. said oh your just tense cause you didn't get the laughing gas. My son does not like the gas because it makes him sick and has always done fine without it. My son was completely fine when they did the other side of his mouth. It was dead and did not have pain. The right side however was incredibly painful. When I explained this the Dr kept denying that he was in pain and just said your fine your just tense. My son kept moving his mouth away from the Dr. every time he was drilling. My son even made the stuff that holds your mouth open fall out because he was in pain and even told the Dr. The Dr. did not care and said we are almost done. Then he raised his hand and the Dr once again did not care. He continued to drill and my son with tears running down his face had to endure the pain. I do not want another person to have to go through this. Please go to Dr. Farnsworth or find a new Dr. This Dr. Was not apologetic at all and just wanted to blame my son for not getting the laughing gas rather than apologiz for not deadening his tooth correctly. I only post this because I do not want anyone else to experience horrendous pain and be told you can't feel it your fine.

Experiencia fantástica: We recently brought in my toddler for her first dentist appointment and to say she was unhappy would be an understatement. There were screams, kicks, and a very tightly closed mouth but Dr. Roth was amazing and patient with her and was able to get a bit of an exam accomplished. Now every day we drive past she shouts “there’s my dentist!” We will be back in 6 months

We were referred here for a consultation because our regular dentist was concerned that one of my preschooler's teeth might need extraction following trauma a couple months ago. The team here was great! They made my daughter comfortable and interacted cheerfully with her, and once she was settled in with a movie, they were . The dentist examined her and spent a good amount of time talking to me about what he saw happening with her teeth. He answered my questions, was not in a hurry, and explained everything very well. I would definitely return here!

Not once have my kids been scared to go to the dentist - they actually think they should get to have their teeth cleaned more often! I will bring my kids to Southridge as long as they'll let me!

Experiencia negativa: My toddler was scared to have a tooth extracted and the sedation was adding to her reaction. The dental assistant and dentist were very unsympathetic and impatient-- with the dental assistant even boarder-line yelling at her to stop crying. At the assistant told my daughter she couldn't have a prize unless she stopped crying. Would not recommend taking your toddlers here.

Experiencia fantástica: We have been seeing Dr Roth for 20 years now, and will continue for the foreseeable future. My son has Down Syndrome, and Dr Roth is sooo good with special needs. He'll keep seeing special needs when they're older than 19, so I don't have to look for another dentist for my son to get used to. My son totally trusts him, and looks forward to seeing the "pretty girls" in his office. Mom

Experiencia fantástica: My 5 year old needed two extractions, 2 fills, and two spacers. They worked with him, made him feel comfortable with headphones and a movie, let the gas settle then gave his numbing shot. He didn’t even know that his teeth were extracted. They have a waiting area for kids and are very friendly with our children. We love the staff!

Experiencia fantástica: 1st dentist appointment for my little boy who is autistic and has sensory processing disorder. We have never had any kind of exam without a meltdown. This visit was beyond my wildest expectations. The staff was so patient and kind. He was able to complete the majority of an exam with no issues. So impressed with the whole clinic.

I was pleasantly surprised to be wrong about that. The staff are so kind and always make my kids feel comfortable. The kids brush and floss well in between visits because they are so excited for Dr. Roth to see and praise them for their clean teeth. Who would’ve thought going to the dentist could be fun?
