Experiencia negativa: While most of the staff here is fantastic, Dr. Nyeemah Kennedy has no understanding, empathy or compassion. She treats everyone else as if they are peons. Sure has no place working in healthCARE.

Experiencia negativa: They canceled my appointment last minute and then I show up. I could not locate the entrance to the facility by the time I got in there it was 10 minutes past the appointment by the time I got checked in into the counter it was 9:12 AM and then proceeded to have me sit or didn’t call me up and tell me that they will no longer see me since I was so late as my appointment considering they frequently make me wait.

She made me feel comfortable & made me laugh. And Dr Yetter was the absolute best she was very gentle & caring! Experiencia fantástica: Amazing dental care at CHDC Pottstown, Pa. Dr. Lupin is great, as well as his assistant Molly. They are so nice, make you feel comfortable, explain the whole process as they go along, and really go out of their way to make your experience enjoyable. Most people strongly dislike going to the dentist, but my 16yr old daughter never complains about going. That’s gotta tell you something! Dental appointment can be so expensive, even with insurance…these guys have an income based program that is super easy to enroll in. My daughter and I have been using their services for over a year now and have only had good experiences. I can’t say enough about the dental services at CHDC Pottstown. Definitely check them out!

I also saw Markeeta Smith (I think it’s her name) nurse practitioner but unfortunately my experience with her might as well have not even happened. She was way too busy to talk and just waved a hand at me and said’, “Next time.”

The office was very clean and organized. The entire experience from booking the appointment to the actual appointment to picking up the glasses 3 weeks later was great. I highly recommend.

Experiencia negativa: This bureaucracy of a medical system and one sided conversations and hubris of people with titles is out of control. I will never go back to this place. I had an appt. today with the intention of getting a referral to get an mri and ended up leaving there with no referral because according to Marqueta (however it is spelled) she "can't read mri's," so her logic concluded there was no reason to give me one of those, instead she made it a huge inconvenience of offering me a referral to see a specialist (because there can't be too many hands in pockets as far as this system is concerned.) You wonder why medical costs, premiums, and pharmaceuticals in general are outrageous; well this is just another sliver of the answer. So now the nearest "specialist" is twenty miles away. What does her not being able to resd mri's have to do with giving me a simple referral in the first place? Others have eyes too... me for example. That's right, contrary to what people in white lab coats think, those who don't wear them have brains too. I know how to decipher the mri diagnostic run down the physician writes out pertaining to my own health. I know what it's all about and also why very few doctor-patient relationships are developed these days: it's all about following the imposed standard of care to maximize profits to the cost of inconveniencing the patient. A main problem with this system is too much compartmentalization (intentional) and one sided decisions according to standard of care procedures to satisfy big pharmas', and the insurance company's pockets. Health was lost in this country once the part of the equation of the patient's point of view was sacrificed (intentional.) Almost forgot to mention the fact I sat in the smaller room in the back for 45 minutes, after waiting 15 minutes past my sceduled time in the larger waiting room (total time past my scheduled time: one hour.) I could have done that standing on my head compared to the rest of the experience. Personally, I think the more indoctrination degrees people have the bigger the horse blinders they tend to wear, then it becomes all about paycheck servitude. So besides my chronic back problem, the fact I had to go to this place (a six hour ordeal for me - with the added bonus of severe back, neck, and lumbar pain) and accomplished zero today leaves me no other option but to never go to this place again.

Experiencia negativa: 10 mins late due to road work and was cancelled. Took 6 months to get the appointment. Nasty attitudes and no friendly smiles. Spoke with Sarah from front end management who confirmed there is no late policy but was remote and unable to assist on site. The only friendly one is the very First Lady for Covid questions. Went on the website to confirm late policy doesn’t exist. See attachments below.

Experiencia negativa: Community health and dental is constantly billing me for things that I’m not supposed to be billed for and then every time I call nobody listens to me and nobody ever helps. They say they will call me back and then I never get a call back, HOWEVER I just spoke with a Susan from the billing department. She was absolutely amazing. It did not take her too long to look into what was going on and explain that she will be looking into it further to make sure that everything is being billed correctly Susan P. Is a 10 out of 10 rep I hope she does not go anywhere because I only want to speak with her moving forward.

Experiencia negativa: Seeing the foot doctor/podiatrist Advising me to get shoes that I cannot afford is not really resolving my issue now is it? Instead of just providing me with prescribed soles would be more sensible especially if there was insurance coverage… The problem did not go away it’s gotten worst if any especially if I’ve been complaining about pain a doctor would usually do their best to resolve the issue.

Experiencia fantástica: I personally have great experience with CHDC. They took care of me the whole pregnancy, and I cannot thank Dr. Krista, Kelsie, and Dr. Ross enough. They always answer all the questions I may have. My baby is also a patient and his pediatrician Sarah is absolutely sweet and dedicated to her job. He also needed physical therapy and they provided him with the best service. Thank you so much for taking care of my family. I highly recommend!

Experiencia negativa: The doctors and dentists are great but the receptionist are so rude! I told her i was having a pretty severe gum issue and she said i can either keep calling back every day or wait 2 months. I've been going here for years and she was just so rude and careless. Luckily for me I found another dentist office to go to. Filled out paperwork at 12 am in the middle of the night and they immediately responded to me and had me in the same day at 2 pm. If you're not getting treated how you should here, there are much kinder dentists who actually care about you.

Experiencia fantástica: Community Health and Dental in Pottstown is truly wonderful. The office is always clean and welcoming, and the staff makes you feel comfortable from the moment you walk in. Jaime Acevedo is hands down the best hygienist, gentle, thorough, and so funny. And Dr. Monighan always keeps me smiling and laughing, which says a lot for a dental visit! You can tell they genuinely care about their patients. Highly recommend!

Experiencia negativa: If I could give zero stars I would. Billed me for an assessment, which my insurance doesn't cover and has never seen that code used before. This dentist is fully covered by my insurance for exams and cleanings for my child yet I still got a $66 bill that I fought forever but then just decided to pay as my time is worth more than this bill anymore. I will NEVER be back and NEVER recommend this trashy facility to anyone. I should add, a woman was nodding out in the waiting room while my son was sitting across from her.

Experiencia fantástica: I go to Community Health & Dental Care for podiatry and see Dr. Bideman.The whole staff at CHDC are very caring and knowledgeable. Dr. Bideman is very patient and goes above and beyond in providing care for my diabetic feet. I highly recommend this medical group.

Experiencia fantástica: Recently went for a vision appointment. They were very caring and informative. Did a thorough exam and definitely make you feel like an individual not a number. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a good optometrist who cares about their patients.

Experiencia negativa: Dr. Gwinn was great as always, but I believe it was the optician named Maher (?) who I asked to adjust my glasses because they were sliding down my nose. I don't know what she did but I had to go to another location after that and have them try to adjust them back because they made my one ear raw and I could not wear them for more than 30 min without a lot of pain. Two different other opticians immediately told me CHDC's optician royally messed up my glasses. No matter what anyone tries, they are crooked now. I'm not happy!

Experiencia fantástica: I am a dental patient here. After not seeing a dentist for 20 years, I needed a bit of work done. Dr. Finnegan and his assistant Victoria are absolutely wonderful. They are excellent at what they do! They are kind, very skilled, and amazingly quick. They kept me comfortable the whole time, and I'm actually looking forward to coming in again next week. The scheduling process is easy and they are able to get you in without delay. I highly recommend Dr. Finnegan. You could not ask for a better provider!

Experiencia negativa: I’m really disappointed with my experience trying to get an emergency dental appointment. I called explaining that I have an abscess and was in severe pain, yet it was extremely difficult to get help in a timely manner. Community Health and Dental often takes pride in saying they accommodate emergency appointments, but that wasn’t my experience at all. When someone is dealing with an abscess, delays can make the situation worse and feel dismissive. I hope this is something they take seriously and improve on for future patients. Also they didn’t offer me any type of future appointment because I’m not a new patient. Like they said to do, I called every couple hours, a couple days trying to get an appointment. I’m upset & highly disappointed with how this went.

Experiencia fantástica: I switched to community health and dental about six months ago and I’m so glad that I did. There are several convenient offices and all of them are great, but I absolutely cannot say enough good things about the location at the mall in Coventry from the front desk staff like Janine and Lavender being so helpful and friendly to the the awesome girls in dental and PT like Kiersten and Courtney are always so kind and keeping me organized and informed. I absolutely love the mall location and how convenient it is to have everything in one place. I am so glad I started coming here and so grateful to Janine for all of her help in getting appointments organized and my insurance squared away!

Experiencia negativa: It would be the last place I'd go. There's a woman there who speaks English and Spanish who is incredibly rude and unprofessional. They seriously need to replace people like her. I wanted to make an appointment for my 4-month-old son, and she very rudely told me they couldn't see him. I understand that, but there are better ways to speak to people.

Experiencia fantástica: The dental visits were a Godsend, since I have not been able to afford them in many, many years…. Between Jamie and Doc Selya, my senior mouth is as healthy as it can be. Patience, courteous, empathetic and knowledgeable… also grand at reducing anxiety over dental visits. Highly recommend trusting this process

Experiencia negativa: Not possible to reach anyone by phone to make an appt. Press 7 and they tell you to check text message and then hang up. Text message prompts give you list of diagnoses/symptoms if you select other because none of them apply, they give you a phone number and tell you to call. That phone number takes you into the exact same loop that didn’t work the first time had to drive to the office to make an appointment in Coventry. We agreed on a date that the patient would be seen in Boyertown because they couldn’t accommodate the patient with an urgent condition for 17 days. Myself and the patient and the person behind the desk all agreed on Tuesday at 1 o’clock. However she made the appointment for Monday. Needed to change my schedule to accommodate that. She said she sent a pin to the patient so they could set up patient portal ….that wasn’t done. She told the patient that she would give me HIPAA papers so he could add me to his form …that wasn’t done either. I can not imagine the frustration their system creates for elderly patients who don’t text. Or how many have not been able to get services they really need due to nonfunctional system and staff. Believe it or not….I’m not even done here.

Experiencia fantástica: Being a dental patient here for the past year has been an extremely positive experience. All the staff and doctors genuinely care for the patients and do all they can to take great care of you. I have not had more gentle experiences with the procedures and they lighten the atmosphere which greatly helps with the anxiety generally caused by going to the dentist. Recently I had work done by Dr. Lubin and Maly and I would have to say that was my absolute best dental experience ever. Thank you to each and every one of you for all that you do and the great care you provide.

The techs here have made it so I'm never nervous, they talk thru each step, and make it into a fun experience despite my stress! I also have bad teeth and have required multiple filling appointments. They have rebuilt many of my teeth and given me back something I thought I lost. They are really great here!

Experiencia negativa: Although I've been seeing doctors at this clinic for over a decade, I've had my fair share of issues with them. To begin with, they tried to bill me for my adult daughter, who is married and lives independently. They even sent me all her appointment information as if I were responsible for her care — a clear HIPAA violation. I've recently moved and will be transferring my medical records elsewhere. I spoke with a staff member last week who informed me I had a $50 outstanding bill — something I was completely unaware of, especially since I have insurance and never received any prior notice. Within a week of that phone call, I started receiving calls and a bill from a collection agency (CBSC) — over $50. Really?! Years ago, I would have recommended this place, but not anymore — especially since all the good doctors I used to see are no longer there. Visit at your own risk.

Experiencia positiva: I have been seeing the dental providers of this practice located at Coventry mall for a few years now. I've always had a positive experience and the staff has always been friendly. I had a small issue with my scheduled appointment back in february where they canceled my appt, while I was there, so that my doctor could clear me for treatment. Completely understandable. It's been well over 6 months now and I finally got a text message saying to schedule an appt using the menu in text. The thing is, that only schedules medical not dental. So I call the number on their website and the automated menu again does not have any mention of dental. Just medical and some other depts like billing. While I do like the dental staff, I'm really annoyed that in order to schedule an appt, I'll have to drive to the office and I'm betting my husband's next paycheck that the woman who sits at the door will tell me that I have to call the office instead of just letting me go to the dental part and schedule it or having somebody from dental come out and talk to me. If that happens, I'll most likely try to find a new dentist. It shouldn't be this hard to get your teeth cleaned and have a dental check up. Oh and to add just a little more frustration, I figured I'd schedule an appt online. It has a drop down menu for language. Guess which language is NOT on the list. If you said English, you'd be correct. Then it says to use the patient portal. Ok but to set up the patient portal you need codes, which I don't have and can't get because I can not contact the dental dept. Yeah, I'm frustrated. If you are going to have multiple health depts in 1 building, it would be beneficial to have phone numbers for those departments or have them listed in the automated menu.

Experiencia negativa: This dental office and experience has been one of the worst I’ve ever had. I have had a lot of time in the dental chair over my life, trying to take good care of my teeth. First of all, unless you press that you’re from a doctors office or another office, you will never get a live person, so on the phone number which you dial you must press three for a real person. That takes forever to learn. Second of all, once fair, they have say an 18 page form to fill out, the paperwork of which I’ve never seen. Then you get to go in with the dental assistant who, in spite of me sending over several x-rays, including a panoramic, had to take more x-rays. Then they had to be developed. Then I had to wait for the doctor. Once the doctor came in, she sat behind my face, so I couldn’t really see her unless I cricked my neck to the side. I asked her to move down a little bit so that I could actually see her when I was speaking. And then she said well, I won’t be able to look at your mouth. Well, if this is a consult, then maybe you need to listen to me first. After speaking to her about my situation, she told me that they don’t do any of that if their office. After all that effort, including finding out whether my insurance will cover me there which took forever, I was told I need to go elsewhere and find someone who can do the work. How pathetic, how positively pathetic. So two days later, I called another dentist who takes my insurance and told him I would have my x-rays sent over including those which I’ve had sent to CDHC and then I had to call back CHC and ask them to send my x-rays over. With that they told me I had to go on their website go to patient portal and get a form for release of documents. It was a PDF. It was non-fillable. So to make my life even more difficult, I’ve had to call them back and ask them to mail them to me. Indubitably, the worst experience I have ever had in trying to acquire a dentist, and trying to get hold of them, and actually the experience at the office. I was so non-plussed!

Experiencia negativa: Whoever that behavioral specialist man is HE IS A CREEP!!!! I never felt so uncomfortable at a drs appointment in my life.. The appointment was for my son he was asking me way to many personal questions!!! That didn’t have anything to do with my son… He’s too flirtatious and I will never book with him AGAIN

Experiencia negativa: This place is trash. The receptionist is condescending and makes you prove you’re the parent of your kid. Like I’ve never in my 23 years of being a parent had to prove my kid was mine to any doctor. And what’s worse is she said it was “hippa” but their father brought them in and didn’t have to prove at all he was their father…..so make it make sense.

Dr Monighan and Louisa just performed a difficult dental fix for me. Having a lifelong fear of dentists, coming here has restored my belief that health providers can be caring and compassionate. Their level of concern and professional for me at least is unsurpassed. Definitely seek care at CHDC if ever you are in need.

Experiencia fantástica: I go to CHDC in the Coventry Mall to see my PCP. This place is AWESOME. They have early and late hours. They not only have PCP's there they also have dental, mental health therapist and psychiatrist and eyeglasses. All, everyone, every single person I've met from transferring there to the woman at check - in and the nurses that call you back - and let's not forget how excellent my PCP is. She's super cool. This whole office goes above and beyond to help you with whatever you need. And if they can't they'll refer you to someone else who can. They even have a woman you can talk to if you need assistance paying your bills, she'll help you navigate the social security network. I can't say enough about CHDC. They also have a Boyertown Pa office plus others if you don't live near Pottstown. I hope you give them a try.

Experiencia negativa: I would not recommend this office. I had a psychiatry appointment scheduled for 8:15 AM and was informed ahead of time that I could not bring my children, so I arranged childcare accordingly. On the morning of the appointment, at 8:04 AM while I was en route, the office called to cancel due to the provider being sick. No effort was made to reschedule, as I was told appointments were already booked. This was not my first poor experience. At my initial visit, I waited 15 minutes past my scheduled time with no update, only to be told they were having computer issues. While there were some attempts to resolve these issues, I’ve consistently encountered a lack of professionalism and poor communication. Unfortunately, I’ve had more frustration than support from this office. I would rather go without care than continue with such unreliable and disorganized service.

Experiencia negativa: Billing did not get approval prior to expensive dental work. Now I am stuck with a 6 thousand dollar bill! The dentist was excellent; the billing department was not!

Experiencia fantástica: I just wrote a lengthy text about my deceased husband of almost 10 years next month. He was a good man in the end he did not like doctors cause he saw them too much do to his many medical conditions including 3 heart attacks, open heart surgery, 6 flatlines, diverticulosis twice, bronchitis, a motor cycle accident on day 1 when he was almost 48. The bike flipped over on him and fractured his knee and longest bone and the surgeon had to repair by putting a rod inside his knee made of titanium with 7 bolts to hold his knee together. This created lots of pain and so my husband experienced first hand morphine comatose which caused him to go into a Stat Code Blue where luckily they were able to save him at University of Pennsylvania. But that created Russ from becoming delusional from the morphine especially when he found a 2nd Dr who write his script and not truly care what happened to him. So my husband was taking 200 mg of Morphine, 8 mg of Dilaudid and 13 other medications. So I became very respectful towards Doctors through the last phase of my husband's life. But what made it more emotional on me is when he flatlined 3 times the night before my 58th birthday on July 16th at about 7:00 pm then 9:00 pm then I witnessed the final one at 11:00 pm cause the nursing staff had called me once he flatlined twice. See with what Russ went through and after his passing I became the Matriarch of our family. I had to keep his memories alive and I tried to keep the family together but some of them pushed away. So I respect doctors and that's why I take a different approach on my life to see a DR.when something has recently happened way before the medical condition becomes truly serious regarding myself. So I want to thank you Dr.Kennedy on taking a pro-active approach regarding my rash on my back. Life is too short to risk anything. I am a Christian besides. It is has been a journey that I would not have been prepare for but Russ talked about once he was gone. He mentally prepared me to deal with him dieing okay. Russ loved life, playing the guitar but he loved his 2 children and his 4 grandchildren. I want to also thank my Physician Assistant Kirstin Tarquini who has pushed me in dealing with my appointments and my lab work and my mammograms. It is all necessary to keeping me alive and as healthy as possible.

Experiencia fantástica: Wonderful clinic! Able to have multiple appointments in one visit (medical, dental, vision) if available; convenient, compassionate, and very very knowledgeable physicians and helpful staff! They also offer free patient transportation via their shuttle.

Experiencia fantástica: The staff is very helpful and welcoming, especially Jamie in Dental and Sarah Spengler in Pediatrics. I always feel comfortable and satisfied with the care of both my son and myself when coming here.

Experiencia negativa: Billed twice for one visit, first time was charge for something i didnt go in for or ask for care from the doctor for. They adjust that i pay my copay and i think were done im not going back again. I get another $200 bill because someone there billied a totaly different insurance company than the one i provided to them. Call to speak with someone and because she didnt do it and i was understandably angry calling in she hung up on me when i asked to be on hold. Do not waste your time or money going to this place.

Experiencia negativa: Honestly I don’t like to give bad reviews but I’ve never experienced such a rude and unprofessional service over the phone, I thought it was a prank show for a moment, I just wanted to become a new patient and both lines english or Spanish were so so so incredibly disrespectful in their tone, words and a constant problem makers instead of looking for a simple path to gain a new patient. If this was just the call I can’t even imagine how the rest of the team operates at the building

Experiencia fantástica: Everyone is friendly and professional and takes the time to listen and provide care. So many other doctor’s offices treat you like your a number and don’t take the time to listen before rushing you out. Not CHDC. They genuinely care about your well being.
