The dental assistant was knowledgeable, took the time to explain everything clearly, and made sure we understood the treatment plan. Dr. Woods went above and beyond. He noticed we had been waiting and proactively asked the other doctor if he could step in to help us. That simple act meant a lot and showed how much he cares about his patients. Dr. Woods and his dental assistants were personable, patient, and incredibly kind to my kids, making them feel comfortable throughout the visit. We had a great experience from start to finish and truly appreciate the excellent care our family received. I would absolutely recommend this office to anyone looking for a caring and professional dental team.

Experiencia negativa: Insanely unprofessional team. I took my daughter here for a filling, and the woman working on her was rude, aggressive, and dismissive of her pain. They used a device to hold her mouth open so wide that her jaw locked afterward and she couldn’t close it. The worker told her to close it even though she physically couldn’t, then yelled “CLOSE IT” before forcing her jaw shut until it popped, and then said “see?” in a condescending tone. I believe the name of the woman working on my daughter was Glazelle, or something similar. About an hour later, I called to cancel all future appointments and asked for the name of the woman who treated my daughter. Tina, the employee on the phone, would not stop asking why I wanted the name, and even after I explained I wanted to leave a review because of the experience, she replied, “Why can’t you just write it without the name?” If I’m paying for a service being done on my daughter, I have every right to know who worked on her. Completely unprofessional and unacceptable behavior, especially in an office working with children.

The office was very clean and well-organized, which made the whole visit feel safe and professional. They took their time to explain everything clearly and made sure all my questions were answered. The level of care and attention they showed really stood out. My daughter is 5 years old and she calling her older siblings tell them to take there kids to her dentist Dr.kam. 2 weeks ago Kaylee was feared and scared to go back to the dentist because of the experience she received from another Dentist. Dr.kam change all the scared and fear away I could go on and on with how nice my daughter was treated by the nurse and Dr. kam. All I can Say Thank you and May GOD continue to bless you.

Experiencia fantástica: Hi, my name is Kamyran. Today, I had to come here, Ambrose Pediatrics, to get a filling in my tooth. I really loved the service and the workers! They provided a blanket for me when I was cold and as well kept me company while they were working on my tooth. I really enjoyed my experience and will definitely be coming back!!

Experiencia fantástica: The hygienist was amazing with my 5yo. She was kind & patient with his millions of questions. She explained scything in just the right amount of detail. The billing and setting up surgery was a thorough process. The staff was able to give me a very good estimate of costs and worked with me to get a date that worked for us. They are our new dentist for my child.

Experiencia fantástica: Today my son had to have a tooth pulled and a spacer put in. Even though they only had one doctor working we didn’t have to wait long. They did so good with him and talked him through everything. He didn’t even notice when they had to give him a shot to numb his mouth. I was very surprised. The dental assistant also made sure he was okay before we left. I am very pleased with the experience and today’s service. Thankful for all of the wonderful people that work there!

Experiencia negativa: 3/10 I do not recommend. The doctors have no empathy and did not answer questions directly. The staff had no knowledge as to why the doctor wanted to pull 6 of my special needs child teeth. Went elsewhere for a second opinion and I’m glad I did

He left today with a smile and feeling much better for when we have to come back. From the front office to the back and the dentist, it couldn’t have been a better experience!

But they were amazing to work in my almost 1yr old to check her 4 teeth today as well. My son is awaiting autism testing and they were great with him. Used more sensory friendly products and talked him through everything step by step. Thank you for being amazing and starting his day off right.

Experiencia negativa: Been calling for 3 days, waiting my place in line for an hour a piece...they closed office for two weeks and didn't post anything on any website,.. or have a message on the phone line stating exactly that...this is crazy. With all the way to let patients know that it will be closed for that length of time non of it was used. Nothing at all to keep customers informed... that's unprofessional and inconsiderate to people needing help and assistance.

Was told I couldn’t accompany my (very scared) 7 year old for a filling procedure because “there wasn’t enough room.” Had to listen to him cry out for his mom in the lobby. Taking my business elsewhere.

Experiencia fantástica: My 2 year old son fell and hit his mouth a few days ago, today I noticed he was very swollen, when I looked at his lip he had a huge abscess above his front left tooth. I called Ambrose at around 2:00PM and they were able to see him at 3:00PM to pull the tooth for us. They did a great job with him and I’m SO thankful for everyone that helped us today. Thank you APD for excellent service and for taking care of my baby!

Dr Lane the anaesthesiaologist was not nice and should not handle children. Might be time for him to retire.

Experiencia fantástica: I have been taking my son here since he was old enough to go to the dentist. The staff are the absolute best! My son loves coming here and never complains about having to go to a dentist appointment.

Experiencia positiva: I’ve really enjoyed being a patient here so far. Today was my son’s 3rd visit and my daughter’s 1st visit. Unfortunately, I had to leave a 4 star because it was really rushed once the doctor came over to check them out. He was very kind, general great bedside manors! I would have just liked more elaboration about my son’s status than just “He’s good mom”. He had to have some teeth cappeda while ago. It was traumatic to say the least. So getting him confident back in the chair had been a little hard. Last visit, he did amazing and no cavities! He was so excited he called just about everyone in the family when we got in the car. So he was kindof disappointed and confused today like “did i have more cavities mom or no?” Other than the rush, we’ve enjoyed being patients there so far. Won’t stop us from going there, but definitely food for thought for the staff. Cleanings are 6 months in between for an appt. So every appt should have decent time so the doctor doesn’t have to rush like that.

Experiencia fantástica: We went for a second opinion and because they are able to do in hospital sedation dentistry for kids with autism/neurological issues. The staff were accommodating and great very friendly. However, my son reacted the best with the hospital scheduler Jen. She calmed his nerves and soothed him and she didn't even realize it. He talked about her the whole way home how she was the only one he really liked. (He's autistic so this is a high praise!)

Experiencia negativa: My daughter had a terrible experience here. I wasn’t going to leave a review but here I am driving two hours to a pediatric dentist to have my child sedated because she’s terrified on the dentist now. Before this, we never had ONE issue. She was not completely numb when they started doing work on her. They told her to raise her hand if she was in pain & then ignored her begging and pleading for help. I left crying because I had never heard my child cry that way. I wouldn’t take any child here. My child is traumatized. She would rather have a needle stuck in her arm and be put to sleep then to ever go through that again. You guys should be absolutely ashamed. Zeroooo stars!!!! Oh I can also confirm my child was a real patient if needed.

Experiencia fantástica: My 3 year old is autistic and terrified of doctors and dentist and they got her in immediately and made sure she was comfortable and were so kind and understanding. Can't explain how amazing it is to find a caring dental provider for her as she has really severe meltdowns in medical offices that can be hard to deal with. They assisted calming her meltdown and were absolutely amazing. Highly recommend them and especially if your little one has special needs or fears of dentist. Can't brag on them enough. Every person working there at 10:30am Tuesday the 16th of April helped comfort her during her visit, literally every single one. I'm so grateful.

Experiencia negativa: I came there with my son to get teeth pulled. My son is afraid of doctors and dentist so I asked could I come to the back with him she told me no he will be fine. I asked if he asked for me would you come she told me yes. After my son finally stopped crying when we got home an hour later he told me he asked for me and they told him no told him 3 year olds are doing this so can you. When they got completely done he stood up crying and the assistant told him you can’t talk out there like that wipe your face. Never in my life have I been so angry at the fact of when did we make it so hard for kids.

I guess when there is no professional and effective leadership at the top , it reflects within the entire practice.

Experiencia fantástica: We have been patients since my son's very first dentist appt which was approximately 10 or 11 years ago!! I have no complaints whatsoever about this facility!! They have always been wonderful and they are very friendly and they are all ESPECIALLY great with the kids, making them feel comfortable at their visits ensuring a great experience with the dentist. Today we received our "graduation certificate" from them, meaning my son has reached the age limit (he's now 15 yrs old) and has to go to a grown up dentist lol. Honestly it's bitter sweet today because I HATE leaving Ambrose. I only wish my child could go here another 10 plus years. Theres not one negative thing i can say about this practice and their staff! I definitely recommend this facility to everyone with kids in need of any dental work or cleanings. You won't be disappointed. So, Thank you bunches Ambrose Dentistry and all of your staff for being such an amazing, warm, welcoming and professional practice. We will definitely miss you all .

Experiencia fantástica: My son had his first appt here today (10/27/23) and he was really at ease. They were able to fit him in at the last minute when I had to reschedule his November appt. What I absolutely loved is the Doctors were not pushing unnecessary treatments. I went in knowing my child had cavities but I was told they would prefer not to fill them because they are on his baby teeth and 3 of them are loose so it wouldn't make sense to fill those. I am beyond happy with the service provided.

But today visit it was great until the doctor came in he was not kid friendly he rubbed something on his teeth and said see you next time where are the doctors that at least spend ten mins with the pt or ask if there are any questions this doctor didn’t have a personality at all and just didn’t seem to care if I had any questions I get it your the doc but we as pts make your pay check ! Please be mindful !!! 7/28/23 and I let the five star stay because of the staff 1 star for the doctor ! I just wanted to give a huge shout out to MS. Ingrid she came into my place of business in her scrubs and wasn’t there to talk about work but she represented this dentist office so well that she took the time to figure out how she could help my baby get in sooner and she kept her word and called me back to tell me that he could come in at @8am talk about customer service this young lady deserves a promotion, raise for this thank you Ingrid your a ROCKSTAR!!!! Hayden’s mommy !!!!! Also Shakira was amazing with being a great Dental Tech AMAZING STAFF !!!!

Experiencia fantástica: I bought my toddler in with serious concerns over her oral health (we needed to transfer from another dentist due to serious neglect) - I was welcomed immediately, informed in the best course of action and they treated her problem areas immediately. They provided excellent oral care but also were very nurturing and friendly to my child… I would trust my babies with Ambrose every-time!

Experiencia positiva: Usually does great work but doesn't like how they treat parents who want to be in the room when they are giving treatment. No seating. Have to stand up. Not all people can do that throughout the whole procedure. I have bad back and knees. I have to use a cane at times and have a Disability sign on my car because of my diagnosis...The staff are standing up and sitting down to perform their duties as they please. Was going to give a 3 star rating but will give a 4 star rating. A staff brought me a chair...

I took my 2 year old son in for his first appointment and they were wonderful. They were patient and sweet as can be. I wish I could remember the 3 ladies I had today because I would mention them but they did an excellent job. My son actually enjoyed it today and I’m one happy mama!

Experiencia negativa: Dr Ambrose performed a root canal on my son while he was covered by Medicaid without my consent and without first informing me. At this time my son was too young to communicate verbally. Dr. Ambrose did so without appropriate anesthesia and did not stop to administer more anesthesia when I expressed my concerns. Instead of addressing my concerns, I was asked to leave while the procedure was taking place. I could go on about how creepy and unqualified this man is to be around children, but please just don’t take your children here. It took my son years to recover from the trauma of being operated on without anesthesia. Thankfully he’s built up a trusting relationship with our current dentist but he always makes sure we’re not taking him to the man that hurt his teeth and continues to have anxiety about it. I should have filed a board complaint against him when it happened, but at least I can let other people know not to take their children here.

Experiencia fantástica: I cannot say enough good things about this office. My son has been going here for almost 2 years and my daughter had her visit today. Their appointments were at 9:30 and 10:30, we were in our car and on the way home at 10:05. My daughter is very shy and doesn’t like new things. They were SO patient with her and explained everything to her so she could understand (she’s two). I just love this office and the staff SO much.
