Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Propes is excellent. He has high expectations and holds himself and his staff to those expectations. He recognizes the importance of what him and his staff do, and as a patient, I really appreciate that. Reesa is his Dental Assisstant, I believe, and she is amazing. She was so kind, down to Earth, and very professional. Jessica, the Dental Hygienist, was very nice, personable, and professional. Darlene was another dental hygienist (I believe) and she was so sweet and helped get the impressions done I needed for my crown. And lastly, Rhianna was the receptionist and she was super nice and hooked me up with a note since I took the day off of work. Merced Dental Spa is an amazing dental practice and I highly recommend them. I fully understand why my wife drives 2 hours to continue going to them. Dr. Propes knows his stuff, feels all patients are equally important and strives to provide the best possible dental care.

Experiencia fantástica: I took my five year-old and four-year-old in for a cavity. They had each boy in and out within 20 minutes. They did a wonderful job of making the process sound like a game. As a mom I was giggling in my chair as two adults “chased the sugar bugs out” of their mouth. They listened immediately when he showed signs of discomfort. They have kind staff, a very clean office, a great electronic reminder system & clear billing system. I would highly recommend this dental office for a child or adult.

Experiencia negativa: my girlfriend went here and she was so excited. she came back from the appointment and when i asked her how it went she wouldn’t elaborate with me. i initially shrugged it off thinking the appointment went fine and she’s booked in a couple weeks. when hours later she opened up to me and said she’s hurt and disappointed because they were totally and completely rude to her! they told her mean things- she said they were rude to her until they found out she had the insurance to cover the cost and their demeanor completely changed and they started acting somewhat decent. she’s going to be cancelling her appointment due to feeling unwelcome by the employees. do better!
Hi Grace. This is Dr. Propes and I’m the owner of the Dental Spa. This really bothers me to read this text. I am so sorry that your girlfriend had a bad experience in my office. We really do strive to treat our patients like family. I would like to personally invite you both to share with me your experience. My door is always open and as the owner who has been a contributing member of our community for 25 years, I appreciate constructive criticism and feedback from clients. Your voice matters to me! I can set aside time during work hours at my office so that we can talk about her experience or if you would prefer, if you call my office after hours you will get my cell phone If you would feel more comfortable contacting me that way. I invite you to do so. I hope you gather from the tone of this text that I am genuinely concerned about you and your girlfriend and I want your experience to be the best it can be at my office every time you walk through my front door. Thank you. Dr. Andy Propes.
