Quick and efficient, super friendly as well. Made sure I was comfortable the whole time. His dental assistant and him make a great team as well!

Experiencia fantástica: 4-30-26 - Returned today for an extraction. Got both Dr Teal and female Dr. ?? working as a team to extract a previously broken tooth. My teeth are always difficult to extract! The novocaine was very skillfully injected by the female Doctor (owner???)! Didn't feel the initial injection at all! Dr Teal skillfully managed the extraction, one root at a time. As i waited for the painful part of the extraction, I was stunned to hear Dr. Teal announce that the extraction had been completed! LEAST painful tooth extraction I've experienced in my life! WOW!! Thanks, Docs!! What a team!! Dental Cleaning with Hygienist - Work was well done! Great conversation during the process! First hygienist who ever discussed tongue scraper with me as a means to deal with fuzzy tongue and bad breath! Showed me how to pick a scraper, and how to use it! Why did I have to wait 60+ years to meet this hygienist?!

She was very professional & worked steadily throughout my visit, inquiring about different areas of concerns I may have had as well as just creating a relaxing atmosphere with easy conversation & humor.

Experiencia fantástica: From the moment you open the doors, you automatically feel comfort. The colors, the furniture and the warm welcome that you are greeted with sets a positive tone. I had a tooth that has bothered me and looked terrible for years. The cost of fixing it was something I couldn’t even consider. I went to Northern Maine Dental and drove 2 1/2 hours to get there and I have to say it was worth it! From my initial visit with hygienist Jan to my appointment with the dentist, Dr. Thompson I only have words of praise. Dr. Thompson was able to fix my tooth and asked several times throughout the procedure. Are you OK? Please raise your hand if you need me to stop. My tooth was fixed and looks great and I didn’t even have to take a second mortgage out on my home to pay the bill. They have set the bar pretty high as to what a medical office should be like. Thank you to all that had a part in my visits.

Experiencia negativa: They kicked me out because I did not come and see them until I had an issue with a tooth. I guess they only keep customers that come in on a regular basis. No notice was given that I would no longer be a patient, even though they have my dental records.

Experiencia fantástica: I was pretty apprehensive going in for a removal and refill of an old filling. The last time I had a filling ( not thru NMD), I was practically ejected from the chair when the needle went in. I've never had so much pain in my life! Yesterday, however with Dr. Thompson, it was a totally different experience. She explained everything step by step, as it was going to happen. So much better! The office and rooms are beautiful, clean and modern. Staff are all very kind and professional!

Very helpful when making a plan or offering suggestions to correct any issues. Staff is extremely friendly and strives to work around your schedule even with the large amount of appointments they have. Best dentist I've had in the county since returning home.

Experiencia fantástica: Super great staff. They are all great however there are 2 i would like to thank. In May of 2022 i broke a tooth. At that that time one option was an implant. However after many many runarounds by another dentist i was told i was not a candidate for implant procedure 2 years. I contacted Northern Maine Dental yes i am a candidate for dental bridge. Bridgette worked with me to get a correct estimate. Many phone calls back and forth with NMDental and insurance company she finally corrected it and got a very reasonable price. Yesterday i went in for step 1 of 2 steps. They told me to plan on 4 hours total. Dr. Tiel was super super super. Got there at 11:00 and was home at 1:15. After 2 years of a missing front tooth and crooked teeth i now can smile. I see why patients cry when they see the difference it made. I know i am a senior citizen but i feel great about my smile. Great big Thank you to Bridgette and Dr. Tiel.
