Experiencia fantástica: Going to the dentist is, well going to the dentist. However, the folks at Timberline Dental do an amazing job! I am absolutely blown away by their kindness, their gentle nature, and the overall feeling of the place. They treat you as an independent person, offering suggestions and allowing you to make decisions without being pushed or shamed. No used car salesman vibe here!. Deeply appreciate their care. My hygienist, JC, was the most gentle hand I’ve ever had during a cleaning. Highly recommend.

Experiencia negativa: Had a filling done in one of my mollers. After coming here, I’ve had excruciating pain in my filling ever since. I’ve never had this kind of pain with a filling before. He physically shaved my filling shorter than my legitimate tooth was. I don’t trust this dentist, neither should you. I had a badly damaged tooth, and dentistry is hard, I get it. But maybe playing with LEGOs or watching Sesame Street are more fitting activities for this dentist.

Experiencia fantástica: Great! The staff were all friendly, knowledgeable and personable. My boyfriend was the actual patient. We are traveling from out if state. He was having terrible tooth pain and needed it extracted. We were able to get in the next day! They took his insurance too. The whole process took about 2 hours. They were very thorough with follow up procedures and pain meds. He was very satisfied. He hates needles and dentists.

Experiencia negativa: I will start off with the good, the dental work preformed by the Benjamin Stark was as painless as possible. Unfortunately, the billing has been nothing but a disaster since the work was preformed in September of 2023. Between the dentist and the office staff they believe that they provided an additional service that was not done. If that is not enough to make you reconsider trusting your private health information with them, then there is more. They did not discover their issue until a year after service was "preformed" and are trying to blame insurance for their poor record keeping. I have filed a complaint with the Arizona Board of Dental Examiners due to my concerns over their ability to keep accurate records.
Experiencia negativa: Only speaking from my personal experience, this Dentist office was very difficult and not focused on patient care. It took months to get an appointment, (specifically 5 months) then they cancelled my appointment after I finally arrived for the cleaning and was told the only way I can book another cleaning before the end of the year is to be on a wait list for cancellations. I moved on to schedule with a more professional office. I advise you to be cautious with Flagstaff Smiles. They are not customer focused.

Experiencia fantástica: I was in today for a procedure that I have been dreading for a long time, and to have a cavity filled. Cami really did a wonderful job on the deep cleaning, and was friendly and professional throughout, really helped to put me at ease. I'm not saying it was fun, but it was so dramatically better than I had feared thanks to her (and a lot of anesthesia). Dr. Stark made quick and painless work of the cavity. I really appreciate his laid-back attitude and calm professionalism. (Also, I didn't realize until today how much actual music helps calm me down, distracts me from being uncomfortable. Much better than generic muzak.)

I am 76, recently moved here from Washington State where I had an excellent dentist. The dentist that was recommended to us was Dr Ryan Tuinstra who I felt very happy with. Unfortunately I needed extensive work and Dr Ryan was out of our insurance network… Dr Ryan recommended two colleagues that were in network…I chose Dr Stark. Experiencia fantástica: He gives the best injections! For me, the worst thing about dental work are the injections. I had a lot of work done by different dentists in town prior to seeing Dr. Stark. I won't go to any other dentist now. No injection is painless, but his are so much better than anyone elses. And the icing on the cake-I feel that he truly cares about his patients, he listens to my concerns, explains the what and why for procedures and is gentle.
