They did an amazing job making my child feel comfortable and relaxed, especially since she was very nervous. Everything was explained in a way that was easy for her to understand. The dental assistant was also incredibly kind and helpful. We truly appreciate the wonderful care and highly recommend this office! ❤️

From the moment we walk in, Tajmah always makes check-in welcoming and pleasant, and the entire staff is consistently friendly, professional, and caring. Dr. Lind has truly been a blessing to our family. He is, without a doubt, one of the most well-rounded and knowledgeable dentists I have ever encountered. Today, while my daughter was getting a filling, I had the opportunity to watch him teach, and I was amazed—not only is he an exceptional dentist, but he is also an incredible teacher. His patience, knowledge, and ability to explain things so clearly really stood out to me. Last month, Dr. Lind took care of my 4-year-old, including extractions and crowns, and he handled everything with such care and compassion. Watching him work with my children has made me feel completely confident that they are in good hands. He truly has a gift for working with kids. I also want to give a special shout-out to Joliegh, who is an amazing dental assistant. She is kind, attentive, and so supportive throughout the entire process. From check-in to treatment, this office provides an experience that makes both parents and children feel comfortable and cared for. I am truly grateful to have such an amazing dental team taking care of my children. Thank you all for everything you do! ❤️

Experiencia negativa: Our experience with Greenville Kids Dental was extremely disappointing. My son was scheduled for a conscious sedation tooth extraction at noon. The day before the procedure, the office called and told us he needed to have his teeth cleaned first and asked us to arrive earlier. We rearranged our schedule and arrived before the time we were instructed. Once we got there, we were told the cleaning couldn’t be done because our insurance couldn’t be filed until Saturday. Then we were told we should have arrived even earlier for the sedation—even though we came when their office instructed us to. Because the cleaning wasn’t completed, the entire procedure was canceled. My son had gone more than six hours without food or water in preparation for sedation, only to leave without receiving any treatment. I had also taken two days off work, expecting to care for him during his recovery. This entire situation could have been avoided with better communication and proper coordination within the office. As a parent, watching your child go through unnecessary hunger, anxiety, and disappointment because of avoidable scheduling and communication failures is incredibly frustrating. I hope the office improves its internal processes so other families don’t have to experience what we did.

Experiencia negativa: I do not recommend at all. They spend 5 mins. Cleaning teeth. They aged my kids out at 15 & 16. When I got to a new dentist one child had 2 cavities the other 6. We went there every 6 months, they were "watching" one small cavity. After being aged out, they still text telling me they are past due for a checkup. I believe they treat many medicaid patients, I feel like they did nothing and got paid for it. It's difficult to find dentists that take medicaid, so here we are.

Wouldn't take my kids anywhere else.Eden receptionist, Nicholas assistant, DR Mike Dentist were great, my son chipped 2 teeth and they fixed it beautifully. Also when my younger child had to get a filling they sedated and it went perfect.i was skeptical at first, and when my other high functioning autistic son was scared of letting dentist look,not co-operating,the dentist handled it great, though the assistant was rudely suggesting military school, but the dentist is always great. And seems to have patience and understanding for high functioning ASD in children. My son simply hid the metal pick in front of the dentist, saying okay you can look but let's just put this over here hiding it under the cloth out of reach, i thought the dentist would run mouth but he simply said okay buddy that's fine, I can just look with my flashlight and mirror and showed my son, making him relax. Awesome dentist, though I've had a different dentist here complaining because my other son wouldn't be still,saying needs to be sedated next time. Guess it just depends on the dentist. But they all do great work. And are mostly good with the kids.

Experiencia fantástica: Jas was awesome and patient as we waited for insurance answers! My daughter loved her and has requested that she have her again. Tara was a Godsend and helped ease her anxiety, 10/10. My daughter left saying that wasn’t bad at all when going in she was scared. She left saying I’m proud of myself for being brave and that’s priceless.

I demanded answers to why all of a sudden my son appointments keep getting pushed over and over then she had the audacity to say “please stop cursing at me “ in front of people , so someone else got on the phone being hostile with me bc I started defending myself after she blurted out that lie then made it seem like I had no room to speak or be treated as equal all because we are black in a mainly white society where if she play victim no more black kid at her office . This is out of hand my son has been in pain for MONTHS !!!

Experiencia fantástica: I have an autistic son and after seeing six dentists in and around the OBX area nobody could get anything done. They were able to get x-rays teeth clean and everything that needed to be done!! Anybody with kids this is definitely the place to go!! If they can't get it accomplished nobody can!!

Experiencia negativa: I had a very disappointing experience with the office manager at this pediatric dental office. Communication was unprofessional, and the tone used during our interaction came across as rude and dismissive. When dealing with children and families, kindness and patience should be a priority. I hope the office takes this feedback seriously and works on improving customer service.

Experiencia positiva: I wanted to update my original review because the office reached out to me personally after my concerns, apologized, and is working to make things right. I still do not fully understand what happened during my son’s appointment, and as a parent, that experience was very upsetting. However, I do appreciate that they did not ignore it and that they took the time to contact me and address it. I also brought my other son in today, and his visit was back to the kind of experience we have usually had here: smooth, kind, professional, and positive. That matters, because prior to the bad experience with my first son, my other children had always done well here and actually liked coming. So while I am still bothered by what happened and still believe it needed to be taken seriously, I also want to be fair. The office apologized, they are trying to fix it, and today’s appointment showed me that the poor experience may not represent the practice as a whole. I appreciate them taking responsibility and working to regain trust.

Tahj the receptionist was so friendly, Arianna and Tara were phenomenal dental assistants and made my children so comfortable. My 2 year olds first appointment was a BREEZE because of them. Experiencia negativa: Extremely poor service. Our appointment was scheduled for 9:30 AM, and by 10:45 AM we still had not been seen. There were three families ahead of us, including one with four children and another with three. Staff offered nothing but apologies and said the doctor was “in treatment,” with no real explanation, updates, or concern for our time. This level of delay without communication is unacceptable and very unprofessional.

Experiencia fantástica: Our daughter’s experience at Greenville Kids Dental with Hannah was absolutely amazing! I can’t thank her enough for the way she handled my daughter’s procedure. We were both incredibly nervous, but Hannah made us feel safe and relaxed. She deserves to be "Employee of the Year!" It was the way she spoke to both of us while the doctor was working that made all the difference. Employees who truly care for their patients like Hannah does are hard to find nowadays. Thank you for going above and beyond; I will definitely be requesting her for all of my children’s future visits.

Experiencia negativa: We came to Greenville Kids Dental after our four-year-old was having trouble sitting still and cooperating at a regular dentist. The expectation was that a pediatric dentist would know how to work with children and help them feel more comfortable during a dental exam. We drive over an hour to come here and waited three months for our most recent appointment. So far, our experience has been a total waste of time and money. This dentist is no different from a regular dentist except the patients are all children and Shrek plays on TVs. The staff seems like they're not only annoyed by uncooperative children, but they have no special skillset whatsoever to help them through their appointment. Our dental assistant had a bad attitude starting from taking my daughter's height and weight. Her tone was irritated and punishing. Then we went back to a room to have her drink the conscious sedation medication. She started to take small sips, but the dental assistant looked at me and said, " we have two minutes for her to drink this before it will be too late, and she won't be able to have the procedure." I then asked for a syringe and had to force the liquid down my daughter's throat screaming and crying. The dental assistant did nothing and did not even help other than telling us where the bathroom was and giving us ultimatums that if she didn't drink enough general anesthesia would be required. Then the meds kicked in pretty fast, and my daughter was a little loopy and calm, but we waited in the room over an hour and by the time they came back for x-rays the meds wore off. Conscious sedation in particular was a total waste of time. The amount of effort and planning it took for me to have a four-year-old fast, not drink water, and sit around a waiting room for 90 minutes only for us to leave having accomplished nothing is infuriating. We may as well just go to a normal dentist where it is quiet, and you can be seen quickly by adults who behave professionally.

Experiencia fantástica: Great place to bring your kiddos! The atmosphere is very welcoming and those working make you feel like they want you there. They took great care of my daughter! Dr. Mahan was patient in delivering information to me about my daughter's teeth, Tara L the Dental Assistant was excellent with my daughter, she made her feel so comfortable. Chardonnay, the receptionist was very welcoming upon our arrival. The facility is very neat and orderly. This place really encourages children to take care of their teeth and also makes them look forward to coming back!

Experiencia fantástica: My 5yo was seen here yesterday to get an exam for surgery & the experience was so great! I wish we weren't 2 hrs away to go regularly. The staff were great, especially Betty, she took his X-rays so quickly & my son actually enjoyed it; which doesn't usually happen! She explained everything about the upcoming surgery so clearly & I left feeling at ease. Dr. Vallee was also great, the way he spoke with my son & treated him was so kind. The waiting room was huge, there were table games, multiple tvs facing different angles for viewing. It was very nice to have something to keep the kids entertained while waiting, even though we didn't wait no time to be seen. I highly recommend!!

Then we met Dr. Dexter, Jordyn's dentist. He came over very quickly after the cleaning and explained everything in order that I had several questions about very professionally. I understood everything after that. They are my heros for making my daughter feel at easy. Thanks to them & the entire staff for everything.

Experiencia negativa: I liked the place up until yesterday…they kept telling me i had a balance…when i let telling her that was have insurance…she said she saw it…but i still owe a balance for cleaning….im like no cleaning is always free…because of our insurance….i even called my husband…i didn’t have my card on me because like i said all our cleanings is free. They swore up n down that i had a balance…im confuse why now do i have a balance…kids never had one….i told them i didn’t have a card…they told me to have a seat until i figured it out…n my mind u cant make me sit down…if yall never charge any other Time why now…i told them im a trusted person I’ll call as soon as i get home…they went to get the supervisor or who ever she is…i can clearly hear her talking n saying “ if i let her go home what if she don’t call back” im sick im not feeling well just let me go home so i can give yall the card number…but what upset me yall talking loud in front of everyone…i was so embarrassed…could of pulled me to the side…so they then said i can go home n call back…but told me “ to go straight home because they close at 5” it was 3:30pm i mean….i then go home back up in the drive way for my husband to call me and said they called him and left a message saying “ they apologize they made a mistake that we didn’t have a balance…that insurance covered it…like i said i told them that…and we going back and forth in front of customers that was in the lobby..i was so embarrassed…so as of today i will be switching my kids dentist…because if i told you we have insurance and it covers cleaning and you say “ i no big u still have balance for cleaning” that’s to much and unprofessional

Experiencia negativa: The ABSOLUTE WORST PLACE to take your children to get teeth taken out. They treat your children like pets. My daughter had two teeth taken out. She had to go under and when they let me back there she was hanging off the side of the chair, screaming in pain and terrified. I have NEVER felt this way ever with a health care provider. EVER. Not only did they lack care to my daughter they overdosed her on anesthesia. My daughter couldn’t walk for awhile after and she was terrified being so drugged up. I DO NOT RECOMMEND

My family of 6 was treated kindly and with love and Respect . My Children are all on the Spectrum and were treated with Great Respect!!!!! These names and more were exceptional and I know they deserve to be recognized!!!! For that I am Eternally Grateful to have new Family with Greenville Dental!!!! Yes they live up to the Hype!!! The team here was so knowledgeable, helpful and understanding in supporting him and his needs. We love this office. Everyone is kind and patient and the facilities are clean and beautiful!

Always get great service, with my kids actually not minding to go to dentist. Dr Mike along with Hannah, Betty, and Lilly deserve a 10 star rating. Experiencia negativa: I have never been so displeased with a medical professional. Dr.Dexter failed to provide adequate care for my child’s chipped molar when he initially noticed it in April- office staff scheduled her for a cap to hopefully save the tooth in July. Except the office staff made the sedation appointment too late in the day, no one called to notify me until I called the day before the appointment. Only to be told we would have to reschedule for SEPTEMBER! I made an emergency appointment in August where Dr. Dexter was again the one we saw, when I demanded to know why he pushed it off the initial visit he replied, and I quote “I don’t know, I didn’t think it would be this bad”. We are now dealing with the start of an abbess in the tooth and will likely have to be pulled. Dr. Dexter never once apologized or noted his mistake, only saying that they’re super backed up because “we’re one of the only offices that treat Medicaid pediatric patients in NC.” SO?! That means they receive crappy care?? Never in my life, he will never treat my children again and we will be going elsewhere to receive adequate care.

Experiencia fantástica: Absolutely love this office, had to transfer my kids to Wilmington kids dental for a little while, then had to schedule a child for an extraction in Greenville after transferring them back from Wilmington. Apparently they never got transferred and I had an appointment today and called Greenville office to schedule and some how they got scheduled in Wilmington due to never being transferred back to Greenville. The receptionist at Greenville kids dentist ( Desiree) was absolutely wonderful to get my child scheduled and transferred all within 2:00 (which was the time that was scheduled down in Wilmington) and within the 10 minute grace period. I can not be more thankful for Desiree to be at this location as I am 37 + days pregnant, she was able to help me stay calm and not freak out and lose it as I was under the impression everything was transferred from day one

Most places can release same day… it has taken WEEKS for them to just release probably three scans in an email! Still waiting. I’ve called multiple times and now have emailed them and nothing….

Experiencia fantástica: From the front desk to X-ray to exam room these employees do their job to the best of their ability. Amari at the front desk greets with a smile and pleasant attitude. Dr.Mike, a humble, professional dentist has a great attitude and informs you of everything he has to do. He has a particular OCD about his work and wants what's best for the patient and their appearance. The entire staff from my personal experience gets a thumbs up from me. Thanks y'all! My son feels good and so do I about his visit.

Experiencia negativa: My daughter was referred here by our family dentist to get a cavity filled (anxiety). They ended up just doing a cleaning and xrays instead. All her records, files and insurance were sent over weeks prior to the appointment from my wife and the xrays from my family dentist. They said they didn't have the insurance and the couldn't clearly see the xrays. So I gave her my insurance card and resubmited all the documents. I asked the receptionist to make sure we had everything cleared before we started so I wouldn't have to pay them cash. Long story short she didn't and I had to pay them cash. The reason for the one star, is that (After all the work was done) she was trying to convince me that I didn't have dental insurance only medical. After the work was done!!!. Then Rushed me to file for some plan that they offer to lower the cash price. It was at the end of the day and It was obvious they were ready to go home and I was too. But instead of taking time and trying to figure it out, they just made it a me problem pay cash lets all go home. My deductible is met and this should have been no out of pocket expense. Good thing I had the money to handle it. I was not happy with that first visit and due to that I will not be using them again. Unless my wife says different. Ill go out of town first to a better place who knows to verify the insurance first.

To Nicholas cleaning my son teeth and being gentle during the process and to such a cool dentist, Dr Vallee!!! He is very good with kids and loves his job! We’ve moved a little ways out from the area but I’ll drive every time to experience the customer service that we get!! Thanks again team !!

Experiencia negativa: We’ve been coming here now for 2 years, and this had to of been one of the worst appointments we’ve had here. Staff was very rude and inappropriate, we sat and waited 30 minutes for them to clean one of my child’s teeth they did one then they just disappeared. When someone finally came back to clean her teeth she didn’t introduce herself or say anything. In total it took 5 different dental assistants and 2 hours to complete a cleaning appointment.

Our appointment was at 2 and we walked out at 2:28 with excellent service. We will continue to use them for our dental care. Shoutout to Desiree at reception for a seamless check in. Tara was our hygienist and she was a sweetheart and so knowledgeable! Dr. Mahan was so kind and gentle with the cleaning and made it fun for my son. I wish I would’ve had a dentist like this growing up! 10/10 would recommend for sure!

Experiencia fantástica: My receptionist Desiree was very friendly and helpful. The wait time was very short even with a busy office. Nicholas was a great hygienist and made my 2 year old son feel very comfortable so that he was more cooperative than usual. Dr. Dexter was very patient and gentle with my son. Everyone answered my questions quickly and clearly. I highly recommend this office.

It was her first dentist appointment ever (age 2) , and she has a phobia for doctors, but this was a smooth and rewarding experience for both of us!! I’ve already recommended to 5 other moms!!!

Experiencia negativa: My daughter had an appointment here today. She got extremely anxious during her x-rays. The dental assistant asked me to come talk to her. She did not seem to connect or know how to calm or deal with a child having anxiety about x-rays. It escalated quickly. I really thought this place emphasized, “kids!” Staff did not seem knowledgeable on how to communicate, and interact with kids in calming/gentle way. Everyone in the office seemed distracted, rushed, and too busy to be bothered. I felt so overwhelmed and anxious when I left. I am not accustomed to this kind of experience at the dentist, especially with a 6 year old. Do not recommend if you don’t want to feel like a number, rushed, and leave with both you and your child anxious.

Our receptionist was Desiree she was kind and friendly so was the assistant Nicholas and hygienist deshaya and the dentist Dr. Vallee. My kids were nervous but their team made them feel calm and took great care of them. Thank you

The fact that they have little tablets for them to play with while they wait and family movies makes it really inviting to the kids. The staff there is Great I recommend Ms. Jessica and Ms. Mya! They are very patient and caring and make sure the kids are comfortable. Not to add the kids get free little gifts after their appointments.

Experiencia fantástica: Greenville Kids Dental is an amazing dentists to take your small kids to. I love the environment and atmosphere. They are super sweet and caring. My 4 year old was nervous and scared but they did a wonderful job with him. Tana and Dr. Amy were very patient with my child and were very understanding. So thankful my kids have this dentist and have nothing but fantastic experiences every time! From teeth cleaning, to extractions, and fillings…Karen B (DA) was so kind, caring and compassionate. She explained every step to my daughter before it even happened and kept encouraging her throughout the procedure. Desiree at the front desk was very sweet and kind! And then Dr Dexter was great! Very fast, and kind. My only complaint…is that I can’t be a patient here as an adult! :)

Experiencia negativa: I was highly unsatisfied with our visit yesterday. It felt extremely rushed like everyone was running around not really giving you their full attention and were talking amongst each other about things other than the patient and treatment plan while with the patient. I felt the experience with the Dr. was very unprofessional I don’t know his name but I can only describe him (Bald, white male with glasses). - I don’t see him listed on the website for, “meet the team”. I was speaking right to him and he completely ignored me and was into a whole separate conversation with the assistant about something entirely unrelated and cut me off, than he just gets up a completely left. He was obviously in a hurry to leave. I don’t understand why our 3 kids were set at 1:30pm when they close at 2:00pm if we were going to be rushed and put off like we were. We thought we were set to see and stick with Dr. Farland. He was assisting others and than we didn’t see him any longer till time to leave. He didn’t seem to want to make eye contact or speak it didn’t feel like a very friendly interaction. I wasn’t expecting much other than a friendly nod to say the least. It just felt like we were being avoided and their was much rushing like everyone wanted to get it over with and leave. On a separate note, we had a great experience with Dr. Mike, he was great and friendly and took his time and answered questions and involved the parents and child and had them very comfortable. He gets 5 stars. If it wasn’t for him I don’t know how I’d feel about coming back and definitely won’t have another appointment on a Friday close to 2pm. The two assistants helping were friendly and spoke. And the one woman who sits on the left hand side when you walk in at the front desk is always professional and super nice. (I can’t think of her name right now). But hopefully it’ll be better on mid weekdays earlier in the morning when nobody’s in a rush to go home or for their other plans.

Experiencia fantástica: This was my 7 year old first time getting a tooth extracted I was so scared because she hates needles pain and blood but she actually did very well the staff was very comforting and soothing. I’m glad they had the laughing gas to help her relax. The staff was very knowledgeable supportive and comforting. They did a great job. I highly recommend them to anyone.❤️
