However, Dr. Shamritsky and the entire team completely changed that experience for me. The assistant to the Doctor that came in before my appointment was assuring and kind. Dr Mike made the initial phone call to introduce me to Dr Shamritsky and kept me informed of their conversations. Dr Shamritsky called the same day to let me know he was waiting for me to contact the office in Peabody to set up an appointment for a consult which I did. When my discomfort increased he agreed to see me sooner in the Newburyport office. Everyone I spoke with on the telephone or met in person when I got to my appointment was professional, friendly and concerned for my comfort. Dr Shamritsky took his time explaining treatment and procedure, offered me a stronger antibiotic and alternative pain medication . He had already held an appointment for needed surgery so I could have it as soon as possible. I feel very confident that the treatment will be successful with this very competent team.
