Experiencia negativa: WARNING: As of a month ago I was a patient of Dr. Kaman (I have since moved to Raleigh, NC). I went to him for regular cleanings and check ups. During one of my visits I complained to him about my TMJ. He sold me a $500 night guard that was completely useless. When I called him back for a referral to a specialist in Boston, MA, he refused to give it. Why? I have no idea. I can only guess it is because he doesn’t see the task as profitable or worthy of his time since I moved out of state less than 1 month ago. For me this speaks volumes about his professionalism and character. I don’t recommend him since there are so many other great options in Sarasota, FL.

Experiencia fantástica: I just went to Dr. Kaman for the first time. I found the staff very friendly and helpful. Dr. Kaman is very personable and friendly. I like his style. He really put me at ease. I had not been to a dentist in over 10yrs. At the end of my visit the staff worked with me on my bill as my insurance did not cover what I thought it was going to cover. They were able to show me what coverage I did have in order to better plan my follow up visit so I could make arrangements if necessary to cover costs that the insurance would not pickup.

Experiencia fantástica: Very nice and friendly Staff. Dr. Kaman Sr. and his son Dr. Frank Kaman Jr. are very nice and sure they know what they are doing. I took my daughter for a visit for a regular check up on her teeth and they took such a good care of her. Dr. Frank Kaman Jr. interacted with my daughter to make sure she was feeling confortable. She had so much fun visiting the dentist. I will always recommend Kaman Dentistry to all my customers and friends. Also I forgot to mention how nice and clean is this office. I took some photos to post. This is a Family Dental Practice dedicated to families.

Experiencia negativa: The dentists and hygienists are very kind and for the most part professional. The front end of the office is horrible. It's the only dental practice where I still get a bill even after things that insurance should cover. The insurance tells me to have them resubmit it. The dentist staff said they did everything on their end, and you're still out that money and they demanded pay that day instead of trying to resubmit or appeal to insurance. I'm literally leaving there now. I had to go to a different dentist for my extraction and implant and didn't receive a single bill. I only paid my half, and I came here for my Crown and ended up being out $600 more than what I was originally told and they blame the insurance and the insurance blames them. I found out later that they are contracted with the insurance company so it sounds like a case of they'll scratch the insurance companies back and the insurance company will scratch theirs. I am canceling all future cleanings and appointments and having my wife do the same. I will never be back at this establishment again. I hope this post helps others before they have my review removed. You can tell by their 4.9 rating that they most likely pay a company to remove the negative reviews. Have a blessed day.

The set up for the dental chair was very comfortable and the office had a nice contemporary vibe- and was super clean! Highly recommend!

The main thing I love about this office, and what keeps me coming back, is that they do not push unecessary services on you. They do not try to max out your insurance benefit each year with pricey oral photographs and the like. They do not recommend unecessary fillers, caps, masks, and filling replacements. You do not leave feeling like you just made someones boat payment for them.

Dr. Kaman was highly recommended by a coworker, she knew I was relatively new to Sarasota, but she spoke so highly of Dr. Kaman and his staff, so I made an early morning appointment. I was not disappointed!! The visit went well, and I look forward to having a long and happy relationship with them.

She numbs my teeth and gums bc of sensitivity, before cleaning, checked my gums afterwards, and even made my next apt ! I came in for cleaning and x-rays and hoping not to need major dental work. Had x-rays taken and the hygienist did a very thorough awesome cleaning job on my teeth.. And, I was very pleased to know that I did a really good job, taking care of my teeth and wasn’t going to need any major work. I am so thankful to be able to come back to this practice., Dr. Kamon was awesome and his staff made this a really great experience.
