They got me in same day, needed a few things done and instead of having to come back for a later appointment, they squeezed me in and got everything done all in one big, fun (yes fun) appointment . They were actually referred from another dentist! Soooooo... hello!!

The only "negative" is that the dentist does not use the most modern "STA Wand" to anesthetize the tooth being worked on. Would save a lot of pain! Otherwise, Highly Recommended.

Experiencia fantástica: Stephanie is the best dental hygienist I’ve ever been to. She performed a laser treatment and deep cleaning for me yesterday and I could have fallen asleep in the chair. Sonia was very friendly and professional and explained the breakdown of the cost clearly and succinctly. Everyone I have encountered there has been pleasant, friendly and professional.

Experiencia negativa: i had really good experiences with plaza dentistry until this year. apparently, and without notice to patients, this practice has changed owners and they are no longer in network for my insurance. i went into the office in january for an emergency crown replacement and they did not mention this. instead i learned about it from my health insurance company a month later and realized that i would be responsible for most of the bill (which was a lot.) i assumed it was an error and made multiple calls to the office and each time they said it was something they were "working out" and they would get back to me - which they did not. i called again a few weeks ago and they finally admitted that they are not in network and said that they told me that at the appointment in january. they did not. if they had i would not have gone through with the procedure. this is so disappointing because otherwise i really liked the people who worked here. i will add that they have yet to even refund me the "out of network" reimbursement which they said they mailed in april. my family will be looking elsewhere for dental services.

Experiencia fantástica: Excellent experience! I was in need of a new dentist and decided to try Plaza Dental. Booking online was super easy and I was able to get in within a week for a new patient exam. Janet and Sonya at the front desk were very friendly and helpful getting me set up. During my appointment, Dr. Bader was very warm, welcoming and when it came to doing a filling - he was quick and gentle through the whole process. I went back for a 2nd visit to get a deep cleaning with Stephanie the hygienist and she was very thorough and kind during the entire treatment. Overall, really good experience and glad I found a great new dental clinic! Highly recommend!

Experiencia negativa: Stay far away from this place. I had been going here for a year and everything was fine. Then near the end of last year they changed dentists and everything fell apart. First off, they did not tell me that there was a new dentist, nor did they tell me that they stopped accepting my insurance. I found this out on my own by looking at a claim and saw that they were out of network. When I asked them about this they admitted that they are currently out of network, but planned to be back in network the following month. Skip forward a month, I had a dental emergency on a tooth I had been complaining about for a year, but was told everything was fine and I should just stop thinking about it. Turns out I needed a root canal by an endodontist. I went back to Plaza Dentistry for the crown and paid up front (which was a hefty bill). They told me in person that they were back in network with my insurance, that the claim would be filed in-network, and that they would reimburse me after my insurance paid them. Two months pass, the claim was still not filed. After asking them for a fifth time about this, the claim was finally filed successful, but it was out of network. When I pointed this out to them, they lied to me by claiming that they always said they were out of network. Two more weeks pass, my dental insurance sends them a check for the out-of-network coverage, which they cashed. I send them multiple emails asking when I should expect my refund check for the dental insurance over-payment. No response. Three months after I paid them, I have still not received a refund check. Never pay up front at this business, as it's very possible that they will take your money and the insurance money.

Experiencia fantástica: From the scheduling of my first appointment I knew Plaza Dentistry was going to be my family’s new Dentist. I was scheduled in for an emergency root canal and Dr. E took good care of me. Dr. E and all of his team at Plaza Dentistry are polite professional and make every visit comforting. I know my family is in good hands with Plaza Dentistry.

Experiencia negativa: I’m from Dallas and recently had dental work done. I traveled to Santa Fe and while I was there my temp crown came out. I called Plaza Dentistry, and pleaded with the young lady who answered the phone to bond my temp crown back into place since I’m 700 miles away from home. And while the young lady I spoke with was very friendly, she told me, after conferring with the dentist, that he would not perform this minor procedure stating he does not touch other dentist’s work. I get that to some degree but I needed emergency help. Not the greatest service form the ‘Best Dentist’ in town. I called the next dentist and they accommodated me within the hour for this 10 minute procedure. It took longer for me to fill out the paperwork than for me to sit in the chair. I paid $108 (that’s almost $11 per minute but worth every penny) and was on my way.

Experiencia fantástica: The receptionists are friendly and helpful when explaining what my insurance covers and explaining the costs I am paying. Stephanie was friendly too, very professional and knowledgeable when I had some questions. Dr E is very humorous yet still professional. I went in for a periodic cleaning, they found a cavity and I was able to get it filled right then and there!

(Previous bad experiences') Not only did i get some much needed dental work but Dr. E set me up with a Mandibuler device for my sleep apnea. I was unable to tolerate the c pap. He not only set me up but answered all my queations and then some. I am so grateful for his help. I have recommended him to family friends and even my primary care Dr. And oh yes lets not forget his sense of humar and easy personality. His staff is incredibly helpful and kind.

Experiencia negativa: Came in for an appointment scheduled in JULY and was given forms for insurance 4 days ago. I was told my insurance wasn’t verified yet and would have to pay $202 EACH for my wife and I because they did not do their job before our appointment. After waiting for 10-15 minutes for the reception and dentist to figure out what was going on, my wife and I decided to just cut our losses. Dentist may be great, but I won’t know because his reception is subpar. Edit: As a response to the dentistry's reply: This was not the information relayed to me by reception. I was told that they had not even begun to verify my insurance and that it usually took a couple of weeks, and that is why the office wanted that cash payment. So someone is lying and this response is an attempt to make your practice look better than was presented to my wife and I this morning. Also can't even spell may name right in the response, so there's a perfect example of their lack of attention to detail.

Experiencia fantástica: I've been to Plaza Dentistry for several routine cleanings, and I recently had an appointment to have two cavities filled. At each visit, I've received excellent care. Dr. E truly seems to take time to get to know and remember his patients. He's provided me with detailed advice on how to handle dental concerns, even when it means he recommends against a particular procedure. I appreciate that careful approach and feel he's really considering the long-term health of my teeth when providing guidance. He also has a great sense of humor that helps me feel at ease during appointments! I've been very happy with the gentle approaches used by the team here, as well. X-rays and cleanings here have been comfortable for me, and the staff members always take time to explain what they're doing. They're also quick to provide advice when I have questions. I had to have numbing shots during my last visit, and I was genuinely shocked at how painless it was when Dr. E administered them. I think it's the only time dental shots haven't brought tears to my eyes, and I was impressed and relieved at how easy he made those for me. The front desk staff have been welcoming, professional, and helpful in all of my interactions with them, as well. Sonya at the front desk (apologies if I spelled your name incorrectly!) has been so patient with my questions and scheduling requests. Highly recommend this dental office to those in the Santa Fe area!

After a few experiences with dentists here in Santa Fe, I nervously decided to try one more before returning back to the place where I had thousands of dollars of work done on my crowns in Utah, 630 miles away. Dr. Ebrahami and his very professional staff made me feel very comfortable and self assured that I had made the right decision. He is an expert and a perfectionist in what he does and he makes sure that all of his patients are 100% completely satisfied with his work. The crowns that he replaced and the cavities that he filled were done with perfection. I couldn’t be happier with the outcome, with the color, with the fit, and with the overall experience that I had. The bonus is that he treats his dental hygienists and staff with kindness, patients, and lightheartedness. The atmosphere and environment is welcoming and comfortable and I actually look forward to going . I feel very lucky to have found Plaza dentistry.

My partner is seeing Dr. E now, and this is also a current review. We both are so grateful about our experiences. Dr. E suggested an alternative for a crown diagnosis from another dentist, for a chipped tooth, for me. He said "I will create a bond with the strongest compound I have" and it has lasted for at least 5 years, and is still holding. He also refunded money when the expected estimate was over what my insurance company would pay. And now, my partner has come to the brilliant doc for a second opinion, after being presented with a complicated plan, involving 3 different dental offices, to correct a dental issue. Dr. E provided a streamlined and alternative plan of action, informed by his expertise as a dentist and his engineering background. He discussed different scenarios and asked, respectfully, if Jim would like to know what he, Dr. E, would do if he were the one sitting in the chair. They came up with a plan together and at a greatly reduced cost. I mean thousands of dollars less!!! Please read the other 5-star reviews, as they are spot on about the kindness and professionalism about the staff and the cleanliness of the office. This is a totally scent-free space, as well. Kudos to Sonya at the front desk who patiently answers all questions with a smile and kindness. And to the tech who took the x-rays and the assistant who helped the doc with Jim's procedure. I can say, from over 45 years of living in Santa Fe, that this is the most amazing, and yes, joyful, dental experience I have ever had. And from the most caring and competent dentist I have ever seen! Best in Santa Fe and best anywhere!!! With thanks and gratitude...

Experiencia negativa: Sleazy practices! I asked if they took my insurance when booking my first appointment and they said yes. However, when I arrived, they told me I had to pay because they aren’t in network with my insurance. They also wanted to do a full mouth xray at the first visit. This is only covered by insurance once every five years and is supposed be for serious issues. I have never had another dentist use it except when trying to determine if I needed surgery for an impacted tooth. That should not be a required xray! You will be charged a lot of money if you have already had another one within five years and your insurance denied coverage. Worst thing is that I stopped looking for another dentist two weeks ago and now it might be a few weeks before I can be seen somewhere else. I’m not paying for services that would be free somewhere else and neither should you. Answer questions properly when people call and don’t trick them into expensive, unnecessary, unvcovered X-rays!

Experiencia negativa: Their new policy is all patients must get X-rays before each cleaning. While an “exception” was made for me (after back and forth with the receptionist and the dentist needing to come out) because I have no crowns or fillings it should not be on the patient to advocate for themselves in this manner. Even more troubling was being offered a “cash price” on a procedure that, after talking to my insurance, cannot be done without pre-authorization. My insurance was shocked that a practice would demand all patients pay for an X-ray before each cleaning (especially since in this new calendar year my X-ray would have been covered but they still insisted I needed to pay) and that they would offer procedures without pre-authorization. Had I not questioned it I would have paid nearly $500 for services covered by my insurance.

Experiencia negativa: They tried to pressure me into getting X-rays when I was pregnant and went in for a simple teeth cleaning and had no pain or problems with my teeth. When I tried booking another teeth cleaning I was informed the dentist would refuse to see me unless I paid for a full set of X-rays out of pocket. The insurance explained they only cover full X-rays every 5 years, but this dentist office would not use the ones I had gotten 2 years ago. The insurance said they would cover “wing bite” X-rays but the receptionist said the dentist would not see me unless I paid for a set of full X-rays. I asked if they could just clean my teeth without the X-rays since I again had no tooth pain or any other complaints but they refused. I was seen at a different dentist office with zero issues and was not pressured to pay for full X-rays out of pocket. They told me my old X-rays were fully acceptable and only needed the wing bite that were covered by insurance. This business seems like they were trying to misinform me and their practices seem unethical.

My husband and I were treating our teeth at this place for about 3 years until recently we were informed that the doctor is going to have an ultrasound every visit and it is not covered by insurance. We both have a good insurance. After spending time researching about the issue and consulting with our friends who work in the dental field for many years, we learned that this is a dishonest practice. Moreover, their office stuff is never the same (except their clerks) and every time I was there, the nurses kept trying to convince me to buy some gel or a toothpaste or whatever you name it like never before. I saw other dentists we lived in other states and I have never experienced anything like this before. We switched the doctor and it has been over a week and we are still waiting for our last scans this month. They sent us some old once from 2021. Well, let them play their games.. I will be writing this review in Yelp and other websites. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this fraud.

I couldn’t be happier with how the tooth/ implant have turned out. The color matches my teeth perfectly and it feels so natural and secure. The work you get here is far above any of the other dentists I have been to. Throughout the process the staff was always friendly and accommodating. I will definitely come back to plaza dentistry for future work.

So far, my experience with them has been excellent- I have a lot of dental work that needs to be done and was very apprehensive about going. All of the staff has been great and they truly seem to enjoy working there. The doctor explains what he’s doing and always offers alternative treatments. Also, I was impressed by the way he works with the dental technicians. I would definitely recommend this practice.!

Experiencia fantástica: Not just a dentist, but a dental surgeon, Dr. Ebrahimi is extremely skilled and attentive. He has the latest equipment, such as a CT Scanner, so I felt I was getting the best possible care. A sense of humor, a careful concern with making the procedures as painless as possible, and a skilled and courteous staff are all big plusses too. Very good experience!

Experiencia fantástica: I am new to SF.  A friend referred me to Dr. Ebrahimi. It is such a relief to find a great dentist.  The staff is friendly, experienced, and efficient.  The office is very clean and bright, and they have the latest in dental equipment.  I was pleased with my cleaning, yearly exam, and the replacement of 2 crowns that were over 30 years old. A nice surprise was that the new crowns also resolved an issue with my bite. Back to Dr. Ebrahimi.  He is so sincere and nice.  He will make recommendations but is not pushy.  I highly recommend you select him as your dentist.

Experiencia fantástica: I cannot say enough about Dr E. and the staff at Plaza Dentistry. I’m new to Santa Fe and was in desperate need of dental work for a cracked tooth. I called on a Monday morning and got an appointment for later that day. The damage to my tooth was more extensive than I had anticipated and there were other issues that needed attention. Dr E started working on them all that very day. I had a couple more appointments and went in today to get my beautiful new crowns. I feel like I’ve had a year’s worth of dental work done in just 2 weeks!!! The staff: Sonya, Mateo and Charlie are just delightful. I highly recommend Plaza Dentistry to anyone seeking a new dentist. You will NOT be disappointed.

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Ebrahimi is extremely skilled and knowledgeable. He also cares about the well being of his patients and pays attention to details. The fact that he has a sense of humor is only a plus. He recently put in a crown for me and everything went perfectly. My husband has had more challenging work done by Dr. Ebrahimi and is also a fan. Dr. E has excellent assistants that he trains well and treats with respect. The office is well run without stress. In short -- and its a first - I no longer dread going to the dentist.

They make sure you're comfortable not just once but they are continuing to check in with you during your procedure. As for Dr. E, I can't say enough nice things about him. He is wonderful and calming, funny and, cares about how you're doing. I never liked going to the dentist I am so happy I found Dr. E and the staff at Plaza Dentistry. Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Ebrahimi is the best dentist I’ve ever gone to. He always does a thorough check and listened to me on an issue I’ve had for a while (and had been dismissed by other drs). The dental hygienists are very careful and gentle and I always leave feeling great!

Experiencia negativa: New to town and just had a visit here. The doctor did not even introduce himself, the visit felt rushed and the cleaning was sub-optimal. They had me pay for the visit before it was even started which feels very odd to me… ? The hygienists work felt sloppy and rushed - the worst cleaning I’ve had :-( which is disappointing as I’m pregnant and it’s important to avoid bacteria to prevent pre term labor…. She probably only spent 10 minutes cleaning my teeth! They charged me for a varnish she applied to help with sensitivity and I had to stop her from rushing me out the door bc she didn’t even get all my teeth?! I also mentioned some pain in my teeth to the doctor and he didn’t address it. Disappointing and I will not be returning. I am a medical professional myself and I know good care. This was not it.

This was the first dental office I've visited in years where no one tried to sell me on procedures I neither want nor need. Dr. Ebrahimi was respectful of my wishes and listened with attention to my concerns. Very highly recommended!

Experiencia fantástica: My 13 yr old daughter was VERY nervous about getting her first cavity filled. It was very refreshing to see that Dr. E listened to her concerns and even paused to talk through the procedure when she asked to stop for a second. He and his team were so reassuring and kind. They took the time to make sure she was fully numb before moving forward, so that she was comfortable. She asked to see the tooth decay, and they actually took a photo so she could see it. She left the dentist LAUGHING and saying it really was not as bad as she thought it would be. I would recommend Dr. E to anyone!

Experiencia fantástica: I'm glad I saw all of the excellent reviews here, because this practice literally saved me, my sanity and my vacation. Before leaving on an extended trip, I visited my home dentist and asked for a checkup on a molar, which felt weird. They pronounced it fine. Three weeks later I'm in excruciating pain in Santa Fe. I saw the reviews and called to see Dr Ebrahimi. They got me in first thing the next day and he found the crack that was exposing raw nerve. He knew I needed a specialist if theytooth were to be saved, and recommended I see an endodontist. Now my tooth is saved, my pain is gone and my vacation became wonderful. THANK YOU DR E!!!!
