She has consistently been rude every time I've been in the office and is the main reason that I need to find a new provider. Dr. Rooker is fantastic and actually cares when you're interacting with him. He's great if you can make it past Heather.

Rooker dentistry was the only one we could find that was willing to help. My husband and I had been going to OHSU school of dentistry, but they were done with me, and I had signed paperwork to no longer have work done there. Rooker dentistry fixed the issue, and they were so nice! The atmosphere there was relaxing as well. I was in and out in no time. I think they are my new dentist. Thank you Rooker Dentistry!

Experiencia fantástica: I went in for a cleaning and some x-rays and was very pleased to have Susan as my hygienist. I found out that she has 35 years of experience as a hygienist and it sure showed. She was very thorough and knowledgeable and caring. Dr. Rooker came in and did a check up on my teeth and gave me some information on a few areas of concern, but wasn’t pushy about them needing to be done right now. This is only my second time at this office but I sure enjoy everyone there and they certainly make you feel welcome.

Turns out I need a root canal and they referred me for one at the endodontist next door the very next day so I don’t have to be in pain any longer than necessary. They are warm, friendly, competent and very caring. I’m glad I found a great dental team.

Experiencia fantástica: I cannot say this enough, I was so happy with my visit here, I am someone who is terrified of any dentist work and Scott and his assistants made me feel so comfortable, they asked me what made me nervous or anxious about the dentist and I felt like they listened to me and did everything they could to make the experience so much better for me. Experiencia negativa: In December 2023, I went here for the first time. Exam, checkup, etc. Pleasant experience. I was then scheduled for a dental cleaning on a date that did not work for me. I made that clear when I called the office and was also told that the spot was no longer available anyway. I was then informed that a security appointment fee of $115 was to be held for my next visit. No problem. They scheduled my appointment for May 30th, 2024, many months later. It seems odd that there are zero open spaces when they keep accepting new clients, so I emailed Heather (the office manager) in April to ask when my appointment was and if there was something available earlier. She replied with my set appointment date of May 30th. I immediately replied back to confirm. On the day of my appointment, I called in to say I was on my way, and she was not aware of my appointment. After I got upset, she then stated that they tried to call me but were unable to reach me to confirm. There was zero calls, and zero voicemails. I have one phone, my work-phone. At that moment, the call turned into a yelling match because Heather had emailed and confirmed my appointment, to which I replied. I have the emails with her signature. So, I asked for that security "deposit" refund back, and she denied it, only willing to issue a $65 check. She then told me to go find another dentist and put the phone down. A few weeks later, I received a letter from her, signed by the dentist, stating that they cannot provide dental services anymore. What service did they ever provide? I proceeded to file a chargeback with my bank. Heather was clearly in the wrong and even had the day and date mixed up in her confirmation email. She refused to take responsibility. Then when I searched online, I saw that many reviewers on Google and Facebook mention Heather and her unprofessional and unethical methods. However, I now see that the dentist is well aware of this and apparently condones it. Go somewhere else! Happy to update with screenshots of the emails.

Experiencia negativa: I have been coming here for the last 10 years, back when it was Higbee Dental so I was a bit surprised to hear another dentist took over, however I was pleasantly surprised by the new dentist. First off this review does NOT reflect the Dentist or the other ladies at the front. I have had nothing but great experiences with the dentist and everyone else in the office, minus the office "manager" Heather. She came over from Higbee and normally although not very friendly, I just assumed customer service was not a skill she possesses which was fine. However, during my last appointment in February I was getting up to leave from having the last of my fillings done and was told that I needed to pay $100 prior to my leaving and prior to insurance getting billed. I was not happy and told the girl that I would not be paying anything until my insurance was run because I have incredible insurance which has also been the same for the last 10 years and how can she ask me to pay money if she doesn't know how much my insurance will cover until it is run. She said that this was a new thing that they were doing and I again told her I was not comfortable with it but I did agree to pay 60 something dollars and left upset at this new "policy". I called my insurance and found out for the fillings I would only have to pay about $35.50 for that visit. I call the dentist office and of course Heather answers and I proceed to let her know that I was not happy with this new policy and she let me know that it is only with my family that this is a new policy due to my insurance not yet covering my last visit the month prior for my first fillings as I was getting about 5 fillings done over two visits. I let her know that typically insurance takes a few weeks to go through and I have no control over that and I would not be guessing how much they would cover which is why they need to run the insurance first and I would cover the additional costs like I have for the past decade. She was extremely rude and said they have to "keep the lights on" and I have previously been late on a payment. I have always paid my bills on time, and the situation was my son got his filling redone and my insurance would not cover it and so after a few weeks of back and forth with my insurance come to find out they wouldn't cover it because he previously had the feeling done less than a year prior and so it was faulty dental work that it came out already and my insurance understandably would not cover the cost to get it done again. When I called the office and told them that I was working with the insurance and would keep them informed. I got the information and called Rooker and they agreed that the filling should not have come out less than a year after it was done so we should not have been charged and the cost was removed. That was the only time I did not pay the bill right away because it was inaccurately billed. I tried to tell Heather this but she was extremely rude and said she had other people at the office that she needed to help and I proceeded to let her know that after almost 10 years of going there and five people in my family and thousands of dollars that they make from my family yearly we would not set foot back into that building due to her poor attitude and lack of customer service. After looking at reviews she is named as a common issue for multiple people. My advice for the dentist is to fire her right away but I'm sure that she has it built in a contract clause from the last dentist which explains why she is still there. I am trying to get through to the office to get my $30 something back from my last visit and she is saying I owe .10 cents. It's not about the $30 as they clearly need it more than I do, however it is about the principle of the matter. My advice is although the dentist is great run as fast as you can due to billing "issues", horrid customer "service" and a sour face at the front. As for my family of five, we are happily set up with another dentist office in Redmond and could not be happier.

Experiencia negativa: Dr. Rooker is absolutely wonderful he takes his time and listens to the patient-he gets five stars. My problem was I got covid and had to cancel and then the dentist was booked out for 6 months, making 10 months in between my cleaning. When I called to try to schedule another appointment, Heather said that I was not able to schedule another appointment with Rooker Dentistry because I had broken loyalty to schedule a new appointment with a different dentist in order to get my teeth cleaned. This practice does not seem right as a front desk receptionist should not be able to dictate my oral hygiene and dentist.

Experiencia fantástica: If I could give a hundred stars I would!! My first visit was today, referred by a friend. I have a broken molar, I called and they got me in next day! I got there early and barely got to sit before they called me back, amazingly friendly from the front door to the dental chair. Needed a specialist and they got me referred, and I got an appointment in less than a week thanks to Dr. Rooker calling ahead for me. I have been terrible all my adult life keeping up on my annual exam, typically go a few years but the way I was treated like a VIP from start to finish was amazing and I will never miss my annual check up again!!

Experiencia negativa: I call to change an appointment for the next month and this unprofessional person left a massage saying they didn’t have any appointments until November, and that she went ahead and cancel my appointments that I already had, which I have been waiting for a very long time. I call back and asked her why she went ahead and cancel without asking if I would like to keep my appointments since there is a long wait, she didn’t even apologize and hang up on me. I called back and someone else answer and I asked to talked to the manager and they said, you just talked to her. I guess the manager hang up on me and cancel my appointments without asking . I would not recommend such a place, if they can’t treat people with respect imagine what mess they would do to your teeth and if you call to complain, they would just hang up on you .

Experiencia negativa: After more than a couple years and several visits for general cleaning, I am changing my high rating to a low rating. Today was the worst dental cleaning experience ever. (I’m in my 60’s so I have had many dental experiences) First my insurance was canceled and I didn’t feel the reception area was very friendly about it. Then my cleaning with Susan was horrific. I won’t go into the details of how uncomfortable and disturbing the procedure was. Dr Rooker has been very friendly and knowledgeable in the past. I elected to not see him today for final exam since my insurance is no longer covered at this practice and I will not return again. #KindnessMatters
