Experiencia negativa: I recently switched dentists due to an insurance change and had an appointment at Mondovi Dental for a routine visit. The new dentist told me I had three cavities and needed a root canal, but then admitted that the X-rays did not show the cavities or the need for a root canal. This is a huge red flag. If decay and infection are serious enough to require a root canal, there should be clear clinical or radiographic evidence. Being told I need major treatment with no visible proof on X-rays makes it feel like the diagnosis was based on speculation rather than facts. On top of that, the hygienist was extremely aggressive during the cleaning. My gums were left bleeding heavily, which has never happened to me at any other dental office. The experience felt rushed and rough, not careful or patient-centered. Overall, I left feeling uneasy and distrustful of the diagnosis and treatment approach. I will not be returning and would advise others to seek a second opinion before agreeing to expensive or invasive procedures here.

Experiencia fantástica: My previous dentist office shut down unexpectedly last week and I called Mondovi Dental in Brewster, in urgent need of care. They scheduled me for January, as expected, but the client service member told me they'd keep me in mind if there was a cancellation. In less than a week, I was fit in today to establish care! (A+) Nick was efficient, very knowledgeable and super gentle, while explaining "the why" to all things dental. ( Also A+) The dentist was friendly and welcoming!

Experiencia positiva: I have only experienced Mondovi dental for regular cleanings and Lena is an excellent technician. We have been watching a molar with a crown for several years now. It shows some decay but gives me no trouble at all. Usually dentist checks X-rays when I have cleaning. This time no one did and I received a call to come back to see dentist. He advised removing crown and seeing what is there. It would mean either cleaning out and replacing it or… removing the tooth. At 90 years old, I am not anxious for dental surgery and opted to wait and see and deal with it if there is further damage. It was a wasted trip and fee for me since it was not checked out when I was there for cleaning.

Experiencia fantástica: Great experience with Dr Kumar this morning. He and his assistant fixed my problem quickly and efficiently and I had no pain. Highly recommend them.

Experiencia negativa: DO NOT RECOMMEND MONDOVI DENTAL!!! Had a nightguard made that caused my jaw to be out of line and caused pain. They referred me to a specialist, who I had to pay a lot of money, out of pocket, which told me that the nightguard Mondovi made caused the issue. Told Mondovi and nothing was done about it. Another nightguard was made which had a bubble on the lower back tooth which is causing an irritation on my tongue. Told Mondovi about that as well and nothing was done about it. At some point I also had a crown done, which was too high, causing the tooth below it to crack. There’s a high staff turnover. They are not knowledgeable, or caring, just another corporate company that worried about money not their patients. I was so glad when a spot opened up at Bass River Dental to get away from Mondovi. What a difference. Great staff, Knowledgeable, Professional, caring, Up-to-Date technology STAY AWAY FROM MONDOVI DENTAL

We have moved around the country quite a bit, so finding a new dentist was always a little “iffy”.The “gang” at Mondovi is just so nice, friendly and very capable. My hygienist, Lena, is great and she makes me feel “comfortable” again.

If you ever told me that going to the dentist office twice in one day would be a pleasant experience (well, as good as going to a dentist can be!), I would have laughed. Very welcoming and patient-friendly. Their prices struck me as being reasonable…we have no dental insurance. They explain what their assessments are in a detailed manner and talk about it with you. This was my first visit with them, my wife is about to go, and I couldn’t be happier with the choice we made to make our appointments with them.

Dr. Kumar was very personable and even though I’ve had fillings done before, he constantly asked how I was and let me know what procedures to expect just before he did them so I could be prepared if needed. Everything went perfectly. His assistant was very nice and clearly an expert, and although I would rather not have problems in the future, I’d be happy to go back.

Experiencia negativa: My family of 4 was going to mondovi in dennis till they closed so were referred to yarmouth and then they closed so were referred to brewster. I went for an apt and was told needed a root canal and crown . As they don't do root canals I went to aspen in wareham for it . Which was great experience. Dr Patel and the staff were terrific. When I tried to go to mondovi in brewster for my cleaning I was told I was no longer a patient because , as they sent me somewhere else for the root canal I should have gone to them for the crown but they never told me they would no longer see me if I didn't. So they lost all 4 of us ... I would NEVER recommend a business that is so petty!!!
