Experiencia positiva: It was a great experience overall. I broke my tooth (a molar) I called the next day and got in the day after that. I was not in any pain so waiting another day wasn’t a big deal. They put a temporary crown on me. I was really happy I didn’t need to have a root canal first. Very nice people to work with!

Experiencia negativa: Dental Care Associates refused to see my daughter over a $98.02 bill that had already been sent to collections because they apparently could not collect it themselves. Refusing care over such a small amount — especially in a rural community where families have limited options — shows a shocking lack of compassion and ethical responsibility. What is most disturbing is the message this sends: patient care clearly does not come first when financial hardship is involved. A healthcare provider should never make people feel disposable because of their economic situation. Policies like this disproportionately hurt working families and people already struggling to access care. To make matters worse, this policy is not clearly disclosed anywhere obvious on their website, leaving patients blindsided when they try to schedule care. Operating with this kind of disregard for transparency and humanity is shameful. I would strongly encourage anyone looking for respectful, patient-centered care to seek treatment in Bismarck or elsewhere. This review made me select a "star". My option would be no star at all!

Experiencia negativa: Front desk messed my reschedule for an appointment and I was banned after that because of her ignorance . Also a child’s appointment btw . I called and cancelled, I’m sure she told her tale. The truth was, I called to cancel and wanted to reschedule the only call I got was being told they can no longer serve us for that . Terrible front desk or whomever that was sorry not sorry . Now I’m stuck with trying to find in network dentist thanks front desk lady .

Experiencia negativa: The billing staff are incompetent telling me I had $300 to pay 2 hours before asking me for $700 at check out . They should have been checking insurance properly. Their attitude is self righteous over something that could have been prevented. I spent 4 hours on the phone with both Medicare and my dental insurance discovering the truth. They made fun of me because I didn’t have my first part of the crown money in August, blaming me. I spend $700 in December and was advised $300 in January. They took no culpability for their incompetence. I wouldn’t go to this dental office if it was the last place in America. Zero stars if there was one. I sent a letter of grievance thru my health insurance and as promised writing poor reviews of their incompetence here and in the media. I would have had several procedures amounting to eventually nearly $ 6,000. I am 68 years old ER nurse so I see a poor customer care by experience in health care settings. This clinic billing staff DOES not care. The dentists that work there should know how their billing staff is treating patients and should care!

As a person who gets very anxious going to the dentist they made the whole experience feel safe. The receptionists are very welcoming and helpful. They give lots of information and show a lot of compassion. His dental assistant was so kind and really listened to me. She definitely has a bright future ahead of her. When Dr. Deeter came into the room he was very knowledgeable and had a very calming demeanor. I cannot thank him and his staff enough for making this experience a positive one and has quite possibly helped me feel less anxious about going to the dentist.

Experiencia fantástica: To my fellow Scatter Brains. Dentistry without humiliation. I heard the advertisement on the radio I think its such an amazing concept. We all laugh at the Bob’s Burgers episode where he yells to his kids to go brush their teeth like they have been remembering all year before their dentist appointments. But for us scatter brains we definitely relate. Yes we know we need to brush twice a day floss twice a day. And we definitely plan to do this!! My fellow scatter brains don’t give up!! We can do this!!! But while we are working at this never ending skill its nice to have a dentist who is’t going to belittle or humiliate. The first words out of your kids’ mouth after the dentist should not be “I’m sorry” (Unless they bit them) Today was my first cleaning with Dental Care Associates I had Sam as my hygienist she was amazing!! So kind, yes i had some problem areas we had to go over but she didn’t lecture I didn’t feel like I was leaving the principal office. Dr Chase was Amazing and kind too. I really hope dentistry without humiliation can become more wide spread. But until then I bet Dental Care Associates has openings.

He was very kind and patient with her and I appreciated his conservative approach rather than going straight to a more invasive, complex procedure. I'd lived in another city for years, but never had a regular dentist since moving to Minot. I was having tooth pain and needed to see someone. After searching online and reading reviews, I decided to give Dr. Chase a try. The initial exam seemed thorough and he explained why I was having pain and what my treatment options were. We decided which option we thought made the most sense. We set up an appointment to have a tooth extracted. I had the procedure done this morning. The process was done with virtually no pain to me, quickly, and very gently. Post procedure instructions were provided. I couldn't be happier with the whole process and the result. The icing on the cake was that the final billing was about half of what I was quoted. I'd unquestionably recommend Dr. Chase and will definitely return to him for further treatment.

I called and asked about it, and the receptionist said "oh we aren't in network with your insurance...but you can set up a payment plan" our insurance already paid $150 towards each child's cleaning. I asked about a discount considering I asked about our insurance while I was filling out paperwork and was told all was fine. Was never told we weren't in network when asked- just "Oops normally we do inform"after the fact of the outrageous bill. They said it's their standard treatment- so ask for a treatment plan prior...
