Experiencia negativa: Very disappointing. Have had fillings that need to be redone within 2 years, some sooner than that. Will never go back I can’t even get them to return a call to understand why after only 2 years, yet another filling needs to be redone.

Experiencia fantástica: We are new to this area and the hygienists made us feel very welcome. They were knowledgeable about our oral health which means they actually read the records sent from our previous out-of-state dentist. We appreciated their guidance regarding our questions and look forward to seeing them again!

Experiencia negativa: Well I had heard good things about them, so when I had an abscess tooth I went online and made an appointment for emergency care. Even though I contacted before they opened I was given an appointment the next afternoon (for an emergency) I went in and they agreed the tooth needed to go right away. I said I was good with it and let’s do it. After the others left the dentist said he should let them know how to bill it. A few minutes later the nurse came back and said they were referring me to a surgeon, one to two weeks later. I asked if I could get some medicine, they said they would call in pain medicine but no antibiotics. Fast forward a few hours when I called the pharmacy to check on it and they had no call. I then called them back and they assured me it was called in, after a few minutes on hold I was told that they couldn’t call it in because the doctor was not licensed for that in Kansas!

The hygienist is very gentle and precise and you don't have to worry if you're going to have sore gums after visiting the dentist. They have the most updated equipment I've ever seen in a dentist office and the dentist himself is so knowledgeable. If you're looking for a place to go Wellsville Family Dental is the best place. They have the perfect name because they really do make you feel like you're part of a family instead of a dentist office. Experiencia fantástica: The dentist, Dr. Mike, and his team are all awesome!!! Plus, they take virtually all dental insurances, including Medicare Advantage programs. Not sure about Medicaid insurance; you'd need to call. They've been my dentist since moving here 7 years ago and I'm very happy.

Experiencia negativa: I am hurt and disappointed. Every morning when I first put my denture in I have to go through a hour or more of gagging. Also throughout the day I periodically go through the same symptoms. They also do not stay in when I’m chewing. The glue doesn’t stick to the soft fit material so I have to hold my denture in place so I can chew my food. I asked to have a new temporary fitted and was denied. I thought a lot of Dr Scott but now I see he doesn’t care about all of his patients. He will have them suffer. The dentist and staff are exactly what I want for a dentist. I posted this remark several months ago. It has been several months since I posted my first review. But now I am terribly hurt and disappointed. I had oral surgery to take out my top teeth and was fitted for a temporary denture before the surgery. Since the surgery I had to go back and get a soft fit to fill in the gaps of my shrinking gums. Well my temporary denture is too big and every morning I have to go through a ritual of taking my denture in and out because it gags me. I called the dental office and requested a new temporary denture. The receptionist put me on hold to talk with the dentist. He said he would not make me another temporary. I told her to tell Dr. Scott that I know it’s an extra expense and I was willing to pay for it. And he still refused. My complaint is I have gagging goin on every morning and throughout the day. The denture won’t stay in even with the adhesive. It is very difficult to eat when the denture is moving. Dr. Scott did offer to make my permanent denture but my gums still have a lot of receding yet to do. I thought Dr. Scott was a really good quality dentist but now after leaving me without any help I am certainly having second thoughts. Ted Young

Experiencia negativa: I have been going here for almost 2 years. All the staff that I had met were amazing prior to meeting the office manager. She is absolutely unprofessional and should not be working in the position she’s in. She took it upon herself to change the procedure that I was having without ever letting me know until I was sitting in the chair already getting the numbing gel and then I was asked to sign a paper agreeing to a Procedure that had never been mentioned to me and it was not what I was there to get. I mentioned that I was not there for that procedure and they sent the office manager in to tell me that she took it upon herself to change my procedure because in the past they have had issues with insurance paying for what I was initially there for. Although my insurance had never denied this procedure nor did she check. If I hadn’t questioned the paperwork that I was asked to sign. I would’ve had something done that I never agreed to. This is terrifying because there are many people who will not question the paperwork.

They greet you by name when you walk in the door (who does that anymore?!?!), and the staff is excellent. When I broke a molar recently, they were able to get me in quickly to assess if it could be saved. They not only saved it, but it was all completed in what I felt was in a very timely manner.

He has now been told twice this year that he is one of their best/easiest patients for his age! Experiencia negativa: I had several bad experiences. Two fillings that lasted less than a year, plus a crown that doesn't fit. I finally switched offices after having to re-do a second filling. They also did not fit my mouth guard properly. Everyone in the office was very nice, so 2 stars. This all pre-dates the new dentist (Lisa), so these reviews are not a reflection of her work.

Experiencia fantástica: I have been going here over 5 years now. Always been a great experience. I think it’s the longest I have stuck with a dentist office. My 8 year old loves coming to get her teeth cleaned. She isn’t afraid to go to the dentist like I use to be at her age. I also love that they do almost all procedures in house. I hate going to a dentist and finding out they don’t do certain procedures and being sent to another provider to have work done. I have had terrible experiences with “specialist” so it means a lot that I can go here and have almost everything done.
