I was scheduled in very quickly. The staff that assisted Dr. Halasz were exceptional! The person, Lizzy, that did the actual reconstruction of the filling was careful, exacting and thorough. My reviews are constructive, brutally honest, and somewhat entertaining. Follow me on SnapTok or FaceTube. Everyone in this office is really nice. But what I like is that you get the same Dental Hygienist for every visit. Makes things feel less impersonal, which is nice when you have someone else's fingers in your mouth. Everyone's super personable. My Dental Hygienist (Dont want to mention any names just because this is technically "anonymous") is so gentle that I have never tasted blood during a cleaning. That may sound gross and an odd thing to say, but it's 100% true. I've had oral procedures done in the past by other offices and just thought bleeding profusely afterwards was part of the experience. One time I was jumped by someone and had a tooth get mildly chipped. Unprompted, Dr Halasz saw it was bugging me and offered to shave it down for free. I'm not saying he'll do procedures at a discount or pro bono, but he's an understanding down to earth guy... Who reminds me of Howie Mandel. Let's hope Dr Michael Howie Halasz never wins the lottery and retires...

I had no negative reaction to the numbing injections (as I had with prior dentist), and he completed the procedure with little discomfort and virtually no pain at filling site. Experiencia negativa: It is wrong to deny treatment to a patient in pain with a cracked tooth. You gave me an experience that felt like if I was a death camp inmate, and went to the camp dentist. I believe you are a bad person, meaning to me that you have no intact concern for people in very basic matters, like assistance to people in emergency conditions, which is a basic human instinct. Inhumanity. I don’t believe you or the hygienist would so much as throw me a life preserver at sea. You sent me out with a painful, inflamed cracked tooth. Your hygienist sent me out without providing any service. X-rays and a count of my teeth. I had to call my insurer and ask that they not count the visit against my insurance limits, because nothing was done except X-rays and recording the number of teeth. When I asked for a copy of the X-rays she said they were unusable. I have stated absolute documented facts, along with my personal impressions and interpretations of those facts: I came to you for relief from tooth pain and also for a routine tooth cleaning in case the pain was easily treatable. You provided me with neither of these. I made an appointment with a dentist for the next day, and it turned out the pain was caused by a cracked tooth. I was at risk for complications and suffered extreme pain from the time you refused to help me, to when I was able to see a dentist. Humans are the most successful species because we assist each other through commerce and in accident. When commerce or that basic, humane assistance is denied, it strikes at the very core of what it means to be human, to the point where we are not different from animals. I suspect you deny assistance to others based on factors of appearance or background. In medicine and dentistry people could die from denial of treatment, and I know you denied at least one person: myself. There is another review here where you mistreated a patient and then refused to make a second appointment with him and another where someone had to replace a filling after only 6 months. The patient you denied to schedule wrote: “However, as I was leaving I had felt that maybe I caught him on a bad day and would try again. I scheduled a follow-up appointment to have some dental work done. Later that day I received a call from someone at his office saying that I was not a ‘fit’ for their practice whatever that means. Weird all around and would avoid this practice all together.” The very idea of trying to schedule an appointment with you after what you and the hygienist did would be like trying to schedule an appointment across the border with a nation at war with my country. The quoted patient above used the word “weird”. I describe it as: thinking about the abnormal conduct of you and your staff gives me the willies.

I have extremely sensitive teeth and EDS, so my jaw is usually a nightmare. They made accommodations for these things and were fast and efficient.
