Experiencia negativa: I went to the dentist because I broke a tooth and wanted it repaired, filled, or with a temporary crown until my new dental plan started. But I had to leave with the broken tooth because if I didn't pay for a deep cleaning that cost $1,700, they wouldn't give me the temporary crown, which was $350. They didn't care that my tooth was bothering me; if I didn't fill their pockets with a cleaning, what could I possibly wait for? I will never go back to that dentist.

Experiencia negativa: We got scammed big time! Please due your due diligence and research this company first. They are really shady with their billing. I had them print out an explanation of charges before agreeing to the “treatment plan”. They stated I was on track for have some type of tooth disease. My insurance was supposed to cover it - supposedly. However, I’m getting bills trickling in stating my insurance said no. They add a bunch of things to our bill that was not clear. I’m submitting our situation to our state department of insurance (DOI) and NICB for review. We did NOT receive the services they stated we didn’t. I got nothing special or anything more than a standard cleaning.

I chose 4 stars because they like most dental places pushed the sale of care of the teeth based on routine, and what’s “normal” and not tailored per person and where they are at. Experiencia negativa: Scammers. They will try to upcharge you on things that insurance won't cover like $200 for a toothbrush and toothpaste. Then they will charge you extra for mouthwash. Antibiotics that aren't medically necessary they will try to charge you hundreds for as well. Don't go to a chain dentist company, go somewhere local. If you do go here be prepared to walk or negotiate because they start dropping the price fast once they realize you aren't a complete sucker.

Experiencia fantástica: My visit at Aspen Dental was awesome. And I hate the dentist. Scared of it, always unclear on billing. The whole thing is just unpleasant. So, I avoided it for 2 years. I finally went today with my husband! Was able to schedule both of us same day and everyone was so nice! I have a fair amount of work that needs to be done, and they really helped explain the billing process and get me scheduled asap for that. Extra shoutout to Asiana, Destiney and Hannah for being particularly lovely! I don’t think I’ll hate the dentist anymore :)

Experiencia fantástica: Amazing experience! No one likes going to the dentist, but the people who worked at this office did their very best to make me feel comfortable. My hygienist was very gentle, and communication was transparent (with both the doctor and the person who cleaned my teeth). And when I had my cavities filled (four of them to be exact), I barely felt the needle, and I usually do, so this told me that the doctor that did my work has a very well working hand. I recommend coming here, especially if you have anxiety for the dentist. Good place and amazing overall vibe!

Experiencia negativa: My husband had his teeth pulled and was given dentures. We paid for everything up front and he is suppose to have a warranty on the dentures for 7 yrs. Since the day he has gotten them, the permanent dentures have NOT fit!!! We have tried going in to get them adjusted but that made it worse. Glue DOES NOT hold them in. HE IS AN OVER THE ROAD TRUCK DRIVER. He cant just show up if he is not in town. We tried to get an appt and they want a new x ray and to pay out of pocket for something we have already paid for. I absolutely would NOT recommend this office!!!!!!

My mom needs her dentures adjusted but you can’t get ahold of anyone to express your concerns. I’ll be looking to speak to the manager tomorrow when I call again.

Experiencia fantástica: I LOATHE going to the dentist. I sat in my car for 30 minutes preparing myself for my appointment. But let me tell you about these people at Aspen. Oh. My. Gosh. These were the NICEST people. From the moment I walked in the staff were so warm, friendly and welcoming. From the receptionist all the way to the end of my visit when I was setting up my plan for my treatment… they were phenomenal! They listen and they don’t judge yall. The dentist even took time to explain everything to me which is something I need from a provider. No questions left unanswered! I need everyone to run, not walk, over to aspen! I’ve already suggested them to my parents! Best dental visit I think I’ve ever had!

Experiencia negativa: I am BEYOND infuriated. I broke a tooth a week and a half ago and reached out to schedule an appt as my insurance had this provider listed as in network. I have waited, in pain, for a week and a half until they called 1 day before to verify my benefits and informed me they don't accept this insurance. They then made excuses about why they wouldn't bother to verify benefits earlier. Honestly, save your time and money and go elsewhere.

BUT every single person I interacted with here at Aspen as so genuine (Dasmine was an absolute delight to talk to and get to know) it made my experience calming and I actually look forward to coming back in to have my dental surgery and continuing to come back for future cleanings .... Trust when I say, I've never said that before! 10/10 highly recommend this location to anyone especially if you're nervous about a dental appointment! I was spoken to with kindness and understanding. I found it at Aspen Dental on Kingston Pike near the West Town Mall. They do amazing work with fair and up front pricing. The office staff are all very helpful and professional. Experiencia negativa: Terrible experience as usual. My emergency appointment for extraction couldn't be completed because the dr didn't have time. I have yet to have a positive experience at any location so I'll be moving on and using a different business. Edit, at first I was asked if I'd like to have any extractions done that day. However, when I said I needed to wait a little longer on the 7k+ work they recommend all the sudden there was no time. If they can't talk you into spending thousands they don't want to fool with you. I had a very similar experience at the Chapman Hwy location! Aspen is a money market. Do not recommend! Thumbs all the way down.
We regret your experience didn't live up to expectations. When schedules allow, offices do make the effort to offer treatment same day, but it’s not always possible. An offices ability to do same day treatment does depend on the number of staff, patients, procedures they have on a given day as well as the treatment needing to be done. -The Customer Service Team

Experiencia negativa: Because they did not check my dental insurance before doing the initial consultation for my son and I to see what x-rays would be covered. They did a full set of x-rays, then charged me $157. I was not told of this fee BEFORE they did the x-rays like they advertise. Also I had to do online paperwork (which was not a problem) however, not long after doing the online paperwork, I received a phone call and had to give them all the information over again. When I said something about just doing all of this online, I was told that they couldn’t pull it up. If they can’t pull it up, then why have people do it online? The way the person that called me talked it wasn’t just ours that they couldn’t pull up, it was anyone that did the paperwork online. The only reason I gave them two stars is because the dentist, hygienist, and dental assistant were very nice.

Experiencia negativa: Calls come in from a Spam number and ask for all of my person details including my Social Security Number, which I refused to provide. Amazingly, when I was in the office they never asked for my Social Security Number. My dental cleaning with X-rays took nearly 3 HOURS!!!!! Never in my life did I expect 3 hours. The billing receptionist refused to listen to me and just had a conversation with herself while I sat there. She told 5 times that she couldn't do something that I never asked her to do. I asked 4 times over 3 hours if I could just get my teeth cleaned. WHAT A NIGHTMARE

Experiencia positiva: Ended up having a deep cleaning and one extraction with X-rays. The cost with insurance was $1400 out of a base charge of 4500. I was happy I was able to get an appointment so fast and I think they did pretty good work, but I feel like it’s pretty expensive compared to other places. Maybe it’s just because it was my first visit with X-rays, I’m not sure.

Experiencia negativa: Do not use aspen dental j went in last Tuesday to get a tooth extracted in excruciating pain, after they x rayed me and I sat thru the doctor telling me everything that was wrong with my teeth, they had someone come in and let me know that it was going to cost me 13k to get everything fixed in my mouth....with two implants...I politely told the lady that was not why I was there..I was there to only get my tooth extracted....that was when they were done with me....I paid them $180 deposit ( half of the cost) and told it would be a week before i could get the tooth extracted, so I called and spoke to the person at rhe front desk to tell them i wasn't coming back, i got the tooth pulled for half the price somewhere else!i He said i would have to talk to the office manager and was told that she would, get back to me! but it would take two weeks for my refund and i told him that would be unacceptable .....that was yesterday ( Thursday) and I have yet to hear back from her...if I don't get a call by the end of the day, I will be back down there Monday when they open, to get my money!

Experiencia negativa: Hello, I tried calling and was unable to get ahold of someone and was hung up on. (I unfortunately didn’t get to speak with anyone I heard the phone answer said hello and then heard the hang up click.) I was nervous about trying Aspen Dental as my experiences in the past weren’t so great. I think it’s for the best that I canceled my appointment. I hope others have a better experience.

Experiencia negativa: I'll start off with the staff they was nice and professional. I have insurance through my 2nd job and all I went in for was a cleaning, xrays ,and a quote. All I received was xrays and a quote which was ridiculous remind you my teeth aren't perfect needed 2 caps replaced where they was silver, 2 root canals, and 2 fillings which I was fine paying for. The thing that pissed me off is they tried forcing a deep cleaning of $3000 and each visit and every couple months is $230 to $260. When I refused it they wouldn't clean or do any work that was the reason for my visit. Before I went I asked all the employees at work and they stated they say all had a type of gum disease and they tried forcing them to do the deep cleaning as well. I don't recommend this dentist.

Experiencia negativa: I scheduled appointment with Aspen dental to have a crown put back on, should have been a fairly quick process. However once I arrived they did full, extensive x-rays rather than just the injured tooth. Then the dentist comes in and begins telling me ALL that is wrong with my teeth and the extensive work that needs to be completed. I had told them up front I wouldnt need or be interested in any dental services beyond the emergency I was experiencing. After the dentist telling me twice he understood I was in pain he wasn't willing to just replace my crown insisting it needed to be extracted. Even when I requested to just put the crown back on until I could schedule the extraction a week out he refused. I wont be back to Aspen, they obviously put maximizing profits above caring for their patients, very disappointed! The level of disrespect I experienced at this location was also disappointing. Basically if you dont just agree with their recommendations you'll leave the same way you came but less money.

Experiencia negativa: NEVER GOING TO ASPEN AGAIN!!!! I came in to get a cleaning and they tell me I have 9 cavities and need two crowns along with coming in every 3/4 months for intense cleanings. And paying $4000 for all of this even though I have dental insurance. Basically scaring me into doing all of these treatments. I told them no and I went to get a second opinion just to find out I didn’t need either crown and had half the cavities they said I had and didn’t need intense cleanings but just a regular one. This has to be the worst dentist office I’ve EVER been to!! DON’T GO SAVE YOUR MONEY AND SANITY!!!!!

Experiencia fantástica: I have had a great experience at this office. I’ve been in for several visits & am always taken back & seen within a few minutes of my appointment time. Asia has been the Dental Assistant to work with me during most of my visits. She is always friendly, gentle, checks regularly to ensure I’m doing well & is always sure to explain what is being done and check if I have questions. Dr. Kashyap Patel has been great. He recently prepped me for a crown & was gentle and explained what he was doing each step of the way. I returned to have the permanent crown put in and he made sure it was a perfect fit & I felt comfortable with my bite before finalizing everything. Thank you!

Experiencia fantástica: Went in nervous thinking dentures were my only option and possibly not even an option due to cost. Macy, Mina and Dr KP were great. Concerns were addressed with compassion. Options were explained very well. I encountered other members of the team (can't remember names) also. Every single one was great/friendly. I now have a plan and will feel better about my smile soon. I'm very grateful.

Experiencia negativa: They left me with a bacterial infection with no penicillin Dr didn't call in my scripts hope this isn't happening in the future when I get the rest of the teeth pulled. Dr's are unreliable to call in your scripts. I'm in a lot of pain.i had a tooth pulled today and they didn't even send I my scripts

Experiencia negativa: Lol nah you all canceled it without me knowing but told me when we got there you guys suck never again will I book appointment with you guys this happened to me Friday March 14, 2025 I was there at 9 40 appointment wasn't til 10 30 I got no calls what so ever from them I got a confirmation through my email and that's it they did not see me at all drove an about an hour to go there this whole place doesn't care about you at all dont go there it's not worth a 1 start rating it's worth zero starts you guys suck canceled an appointment without evening seeing that person that came from there appointment only to get told that it's canceled when we walked sucks this is definitely not a dentist at all people there were rude and didn't act like they wanted to see you or fit you in because they canceled the appointment that's on you guys not the patient you guys suck a lot yep still in pain found a different dentist and definitely not through any of the Aspen dental centers !!!!! Bc you all suck get better with being a dentist and not just a money maker!!!! Place!!! P.S. this place sucks!! DONT GO THERE!!!! BE WEAR!!!!!

Experiencia negativa: Worst dental experience I've ever had. Got two fill ins. Kept feeling it the first and second time. He kept numbing the wrong nerves every time. Came home 2 days later I had so much pain in one of them, called them but no answer. They could not get me in. I went in again and they "fixed" it. Well now I have an abscess tooth in the same tooth. I have to go somewhere else to get a root canal done. Terrible terrible place.

Nice visit. Billing person was only questionable thing and contacted my insurance to verify some things. Overall great experience.

Experiencia negativa: Got dentures here and have had problems with plate cracking since about a month after I got them. I have been back multiple times to have it repaired and this last time I went and they were wanting to charge me for the repair. Not happy and do not recommend them at all!!

I really needed to be seen today for an unexpected follow up appointment and even though they were down a doctor they still told me they will find a way to take care of me today.

Experiencia negativa: They are labeled under my insurance and close to my home of residence. They asked for all my information over the phone two separate times, I gave them all of my insurance and medical information. All was good, then I went into the office and had to do it All over again. They waited to pull me into the back 20+ minutes after my scheduled time. Once they finally called me in the back I took X-rays, had the doctor come in and check out my teeth, I requested to have them cleaned so that should be the next step. At this point of the being called to talk about financials I have been in the office almost 2 hours waiting. She then tells me that she couldn’t find my dental insurance and I have to pay $1,000 to get my treatment. Why was this not settled before I just wasted 2 hours of my life I will never get back. This was more frustrating when one of the workers stated that they are not even that busy. I hope you have a better experience or find a different office.

Experiencia fantástica: OMG!! The absolute best staff all around. From the receptionist, hygienist, the dentist and Mina. They helped me understand the importance of dental health and created a plan to get me back on track. I had a medical emergency that resulted in the loss of my front tooth. The staff were patient kind and best of assisting me with my tooth and overall dental care.

Experiencia fantástica: I will say I had seen some bad reviews online so I was not thrilled to go to Aspen dental. But I have to disagree with the negative reviews. I was experiencing extreme pain which was apparently from a cracked tooth. They got me in on December 23 to diagnose and treat it. The office manager, the dental hygienist, and the dentist were all great. I am extremely fearful of the dentist from previous bad experiences and I always worry I will be judged because of my teeth (lots of work done). I didn’t feel like that at all. They were all helpful, knowledgeable, and kind. Very very pleased.

Experiencia negativa: I was told the day before on the phone scheduling my appointment that I would be able to get my tooth extracted that next day during my appointment. Once my “assessment” was completed I was brought back upfront and discussed pricing and was informed they in fact did not have time for an extraction for another week or so. This after waiting over an hour to be seen by the dentist who said verbatim “ would you like to pull that tooth today” Btw— the whole reason I came in was for an emergency tooth extraction because it is broken and causing pain which I was very clear about.
