But I have to say that he was the best dentist that I have ever used. He kept asking me how was I doing one so did his standby workers? Did I need anything? All the ladies up front and and the assistants in the back are all very professional, and go out of their way to help and are very knowledgeable of their job. The dentist is very down to earth, and easy to talk to. Went through all the options and explained everything very clearly, sometimes I need it explained to me like I’m 6 years old overall has been a great change, and I’ve gotten my smile back. That’s a great feeling!!!

Experiencia fantástica: So as a child I was not taught good hygiene practices and don’t even remember owning a toothbrush until I was an adult. After a long battle with opioid addiction, because my body has built up a tolerance to pain medication, the deadening medication was not working when I went to my usual dentist and then another one. Now at 50 years old I had 9 teeth left on bottom and they were all broken and in horrible condition. When my brother recommended Hood Dental in Livingston, as skeptical as I was, I had nothing to lose and scheduled an appointment. The service was amazing, but I still had a serious fear of what was going to happen with the deadening medication. I must say, she knew exactly what to do and most importantly, when to do it! I don’t know what medications was used but they worked! I was so impressed by how well the doctor and nurse worked together! They didn’t have to talk much at all throughout the 2-1/2 hour period! I would recommend ANYONE to Hood Dental in Livingston! Especially if you have a fear of dentists!!!

I have always been terrified of the dentist due to extremely traumatic childhood experiences, and up until recently have not had insurance to be able to afford dental care. My visit was nothing but pleasant. Everyone was very friendly! I first met with Brooke who took my x-rays and made what's usually an uncomfortable process not so bad! Morgan was my hygienist and did a great job cleaning my teeth. I then met with Dr. Cantu who was absolutely as compassionate as the reviews say! She carefully walked me through the work that I've needed done, not once being judgmental. She and the rest of the staff answered every single one of my questions patiently. We've set up a plan to get me back on track, and I'm so thankful to have found a great dentist!

Experiencia fantástica: I had severe pain in one of my lower left teeth. One that was crowned. I called at 11:00 am and got in at 11:30 am. After X-rays and exam, I was given my options. I needed a root canal and new crown. I left at noon and went back for 2 pm to do the root canal and crown. They did all of this in one day. The staff was excellent. Very caring, listened to concerns, discussed options. The appointment lasted after 5:00 pm, which is when they close. They finished everything, staying an extra 30 minutes to complete all. I highly recommend going to this location for all your dental needs.
