Experiencia negativa: If you're a new patient, don't come here! You'll never see the $99 new patient special. I'm sure they'll find you need a crown or a "deep" cleaning or a mouth guard or a floride treatment. I finally succumbed to the high pressure and got a "deep" cleaning and it was no different than the last cleaning I got at another dental office except it was way more expensive!!

Experiencia negativa: I found this dentist on zocdoc I came in for a bridge My following dentist did not take my insurance so I found someone that did when I got in there he gave me a whole totally different treatment plan they did not know what I was coming in there for they asked me a thousand questions before I even had an appointment what I'm getting at is I was I am into it with a local celebrity and local cornballs to the point that they had reached out to this dentist office and messed up everything for me they've been following me and stalking me so if you have any problem with with anyone do not go to this dentist office they are not trustworthy someone will take the bait

I began seeing Dr Mason a couple years ago now, in Southfield, and was beyond thrilled to learn that he had jumped ship, and had begun working out of Purpose Dental in Belleville (which resulted in my 35min one-way drive to see him now being cut down to just a short 5min drive from my home—amazing!). His professionalism, patience (he never makes you feel pressured or rushed, and is happy to answer any questions or concerns you may have), his skill, precision, attention to detail, high standards, and compassionate/empathetic/pleasant demeanor are truly second to none! He has completely transformed my smile over the last couple of years, cosmetically speaking, and it has sincerely been life changing! He’s young, and up to date on all the latest treatments and techniques, and is a perfectionist, who will take his time to ensure that the work is done correctly and will hold up beautifully—the FIRST time around. A dentist of his caliber is like finding a needle in a haystack. I can’t possibly say enough positive things about this particular dentist, the practice overall, the dental hygienist, the dental assistants, and even the clerical staff. For years, I've dealt with dental issues stemming from an accident that damaged one of my front tooth and the one on the right side next to it. What followed was a very painful recovery severe bruising ion my upper gums. The Dentist that said he would take care of me once I was able to see one didn’t finish what he had started and so many unexpected problems that had followed I was PISSED OFF! I honestly didn't know who to trust anymore. When my sister-in-law recommended Purpose Dental in Belleville, Mi I decided to give them a chance. From the moment I walked through the door, I knew this place was different. The entire staff welcomed me with kindness, professionalism, compassion, and a sense of genuine care that is hard to find these days. They took the time to explain everything, answer every question, and make sure I was comfortable every step of the way. But what truly stood out was how quickly they made me feel like family. The minute we met, we were laughing and carrying on like we'd known each other for years. Experiencia fantástica: Today was a day from hell. If it could go wrong it did. On our way to my appointment I saw we were running late and I called in to say I was on my way. They give a 10 window so as long as we got there by or before 10 after I was ok. My niece was driving and promised to get there! So I was only 9 minutes late! Did I say I hate dentists? Not personally but as a profession. And I have bad anxiety anyway. So I was shaking inside while Marva, she was marvelous by the way, took my X-rays and explained things. When I met Dr Nick he was great, put me at ease, at least as much as I can be at ease at a dentist! Found out the doctor that did my cataract surgery is his cousin! Small world. I had to change dentists, thanks insurance, but my former dentist recommended Purpose Dental. I am so glad I called. Everyone in the office was great. I may still be anxious seeing a dentist but I'm glad I found Dr Nick and crew. If you or anyone you know needs a dentist send them here with perfect confidence. I'd give them 10 stars if I could.

Experiencia negativa: I would not recommend Purpose Dental based on my experience. I went in expecting a routine cleaning and evaluation. After reviewing my X-rays, I was presented with a treatment plan totaling $8,720, which included a deep cleaning, three crowns, three molar extractions, and bone grafts. What concerned me most was being told I needed a deep cleaning without any gum pocket measurements being taken, which is typically a standard part of diagnosing gum disease. Because the estimate seemed excessive, I sought two additional opinions. Both dentists measured my gums and confirmed they are in good condition. Neither felt a deep cleaning was necessary. They also determined I only need one crown and that the molars should be removed, with a total treatment cost of about $1,600 instead of $8,720. The pricing differences were also significant. I was quoted $350 per tooth for extractions, while the dentist I ultimately chose charged $120 per tooth. Crowns were quoted at $1,750 each, while the one crown I actually need is $1,200 with the new dentist. I was also told I needed three crowns, while both second-opinion dentists agreed only one crown was necessary. The difference between the original treatment plan and the independent evaluations was significant and concerning. I also paid for X-rays and a cleaning during my visit. However, the cleaning was not performed because I was told I needed a deep cleaning instead. After receiving two independent opinions confirming my gums are healthy, I do not believe that recommendation was warranted. The overall experience also felt very pressured, with multiple staff members involved in discussing treatment and costs. Instead of feeling like a straightforward dental exam, it felt more like a high-pressure sales presentation. I believe patients should always consider getting a second opinion before proceeding with extensive or costly dental work. In my case, the difference was substantial—$8,720 versus an actual treatment cost of about $1,600.

Experiencia negativa: Unprofessional, talking about personal experiences, makeup, etc the entire time my mouth was being worked on. Was told I’d be getting all cavities filled at the 2nd follow-up appt. to show up and not have that be the case. Was told I needed a mouth guard, no real concern or follow-up on it. Discrepancies, lack of confidence, thoroughness and reassurance on what’s going on with my teeth and proper next steps. Also left with a scratch on my face by my mouth, which was not there prior.

Repairing a broken filling from ages ago was faster than I thought it would be. The only downside was noise carries in the office, all of the conversations overlapping was slightly unsettling.

They took good care of me and made sure I was doing ok even after when the cleaning was done. Definitely a place I would recommend to family and friends. 10/10 stars. Ok follow up update: Just went back for my follow up cleaning appointment and I gotta say that the experience was even better than the last. Being extremely busy with life, they made sure to book me closer to closing time for them just to accommodate me. And unfortunately, with rush hour traffic and all, I managed to show up 10-15mins late to my appointment. And they absolutely didn’t make a fuss about it. They actually stayed late just to make sure I was taken care of. And they absolutely did take care of me. Being a habitual coffee drinker and all, I’ve been dealing with discolored and yellow teeth my whole life until purpose dental. The dental hygienist, Zenab (apologies if it’s incorrectly spelled) not only exceeded in restoring my teeth white but she also went above and beyond with everything else. Also, the staff were so down to earth, friendly and just awesome. My dentist, Dr. Sam also made sure to check on my progress and reassured me of what he had planned for my continued care at his office. I really wish I could write more to describe the vibe there but I don’t think words would be enough to describe it. Just awesome, caring professionals and people overall. I can’t wait to take my family there and absolutely would recommend their office for anyone in the East side of the state, even better in the whole state. Truly thankful.

The reviews I found about the office all had the same thing mentioned in almost all 525 reviews Dr. Nicholas this and Dr. Nicholas that and I can see why my husband said he won’t go anywhere else. Dr. Nicholas talked him through everything he was doing his assistant was nice there wasn’t a long wait Dr. Nicholas is very knowledgeable and is very thorough My husband said he felt a pinch from the needle but other than that the whole procedure was painless he only had pain later on that day which is normal. The staff was friendly, I love the fact I was able to make the appointment myself online and could get him seen as a new patient the next day and I loved how I could fill out the paperwork online so when my husband walked in he was all set for the appointment. If you’re looking for a great dental office don’t walk run to this one and look for Dr. Nicholas he’s who you want.

Experiencia negativa: I came in on 1/21/26 to have all four wisdom teeth removed. The front desk staff were exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable. Unfortunately, I was only able to tolerate the removal of the top two teeth, as I could still feel significant pain in my lower jaw. The doctor recommended that I be put under anesthesia for the removal of the bottom teeth for my comfort, and I agreed. Before leaving, the doctor explained the prescriptions he would be sending in: Tylenol 3 and Motrin. The assistant who was with him was extremely kind and thoroughly went over aftercare instructions and the do’s and don’ts. I checked out with the front desk, confirmed my next appointment and pharmacy, and left. Several hours passed without any confirmation that my prescriptions were ready. Once the numbness wore off, I was in severe pain, so I contacted the pharmacy directly, only to be told that no prescriptions had been sent. I immediately called the dental office to ask what my next steps should be, only to discover there was no 24/7 help line—my only option was to leave a message. I didn’t receive any update until nearly 8:30 a.m. the next morning, and even then, the only prescription that had been sent was for amoxicillin—something I had already questioned whether I needed. When I called to inform them that my pain medication had once again been overlooked, I was met with excuses rather than concern. I endured an extremely painful night due to this negligence and received no compassion or accountability for the situation. The office could rectify this by having a support line put in place for situations like mine and have some sort of QA/ confirmation scripts have been sent out. The staff and service are great, but you may be left stranded and in pain if you go here.

Experiencia fantástica: It’s been a great experience. They are always very helpful and it’s a celebration everyday here. The only dental office where you truly come out smiling. Tania, Zaeneb, Dr. Nick and the rest of the staff really go above and beyond to make sure all your concerns and issues are fully taken care of. Definitely recommend the place to everyone.

Experiencia negativa: Not a good visit went in with dental pain came out with dental pain. I was referred to a specialist and decided the pain out weighed the cosmetics tried three times to reach the dentist and was given the run around. I would not recommend this dentist.

Explained the options for treatment, pros and cons and ballparked prices for each. I was overwhelmed. But had a sense of calm knowing we were moving forward with options and plans to get back on track.

She listen to my concerns. And the whole team is so nice and upbeat. They never make you feel bad and can get you in pretty quickly. The best experience I’ve ever had with any dentistry team.

Experiencia fantástica: I went to purpose dental for the first time in Belleville. It was the most pleasant dental experience I've ever had. And was shocked when I was in and out of there in 45 minutes. Super nice people very caring. It's nice and clean in there and comfortable feeling. The whole experience was amazing. If anyone out there is scared to go to a dentist. Try them. They make you feel like family. They are an amazing group of people. Glad to know them. And very excited to go back again

From the ease of scheduling to the prompt service and warm welcome from the receptionists, every part of the process was seamless. My hygienist, Rama, was both personable and knowledgeable — she made the cleaning quick and comfortable. I recently picked up my night guard as well, and I continue to be impressed by how friendly and inviting the entire team is. I’ve been to many dental offices over the years, but this one stands out as the best by far. 10/10 and I highly recommend to anyone (they also take all kinds of insurance which is rare and a blessing)

Experiencia fantástica: Nicholas Kizy is the best dentist I have ever had. I have been going to him since 4/2024 and all the work that I needed has come from this dentist. He and his staff have helped me to get my mouth in check. Alondra has been her as long as I have and she is always pleasant when I encounter her. Rama has a very pleasant bed side manner and would recommend her for conversation and information. Zainab worked with my kids so that they understand why brushing is important. I give 5 across the board would and do absolutely recommend
