He was so nice and patient with me every single appointment. He would explain each step and take his time during each appointment to make sure I was comfortable. Experiencia positiva: UPDATED REVIEW DEC 31ST 2025 Last time I went a year ago the dentist I had who I believe no longer works there wasn't the best thank goodness hes not there. This time I had Dr. Aquil OH MY GOODNESS he is AMAZING he cares about his patients he pulled a tooth well part of a tooth and unlike last time I didnt have hardly any pain the next day. He was gentle kept asking if I was OK im glad I have him the other dentist's are great as well For the most part no complaints, for a low cost dentist that takes almost every insurance they do the job right, I was skeptical at first but been going through them for a year now and they do a good job, they are nice and friendly, they do except walkins which is nice, better to make an appointment so your not sitting as long. I'd recommend if need to go somewhere quickly

Experiencia negativa: Called them to get a procedure done and they said they would do it. True dental said they could do it at bright. The insurance company confirmed they can do it at bright dental. I get in there and they want me to pay out of pocket for an upgraded procedure. I was in pain and they just saw me as an opportunity to take x-rays and charge my insurance as much as they can without fixing anything. The workers will talk badly about you in Spanish and play dumbif you confront them. Worst dentist office in all of milwaukee.

But he decided to still take x rays to see if I had “anymore cavities “ . He already knew I had cavities and he couldn’t fill them that day but still decided to take x rays for no reason . He didn’t even help me I took off of work for nothing . This place is money hungry and the receptionist suck.

Experiencia negativa: This place is horrible if you're going for a general cleaning I guess but I wouldn't have let them handle anything like my impacted wisdom tooth. I hadn't gone in almost a year because I had found a new better dentist for their receptionist to call me and say oh you do for a cleaning I thought this was my new dentist. Now I didn't recall making a cleaning appointment with them, but I figured I had just forgot. Then when I called to ask more questions because my insurance had changed so I didn't think I'd be able to see that new dentist I asked is this Aspen dental on108th and Cleveland, and she said yes it is now why she would say this when I even said a dentist office and address that is not there location OR name, she still said yes. Drove out to my new dentist quite a bit of a drive and of course different place so they didn't have me on there by the time I get home this crappy place is calling me up saying oh we'll have to reschedule know I'm not rescheduling anything I'm not your client anymore they just want to run up my insurance, the real reason that I left that place not just because I had an employer with access to a better dentist office but mainly because their receptionist or whatever was trying to fearmonger me into getting my last wisdom tooth removed. At the time it did not need to be removed she just wanted me to and I told her no and then she again tried to scare me into oh well it could push into this and that things that I as a 35 year old woman already know and I don't need her to sit there and try and scare me into something. If you read this a long review you probably noticed that I mentioned having my wisdom tooth pulled and I did I had my last wisdom tooth pulled thank God at Aspen dental because it was impacted and they have a nice clean office with decent doctors. also the first time that I did go to Bright dentals you know they always have you take some x-rays the woman put the plastic piece in my mouth without the plastic covering on it, and then had the audacity to look me in my face and go oh don't worry it's new but it was covered in bite marks. This place is horrible and I would not recommend it to anyone. I wanted to give it zero stars but that's not doable. They did my molding which is something we get to keep at the end of our process and when covid came they were not scheduling no one and the ended up throwing out everyone’s moldings away without patient consent, without calling patients to see if we wanted to pick it up before they threw it away they handled that situation unprofessionally. It made me mad all I wanted to do was remove my braces. Something patients could have had as memory of the way their teeth used to look. They then moved all patients to Oasis Dental that because they were no longer going to do braces but they still do.

Experiencia negativa: Absolutely THE WORST PLACE EVER!!!! My husband went in for tooth pain, and they didn't even tell him what they were going to do. They just JABBED that needle in his mouth and tried to pull the tooth. They ended up BREAKING his tooth then proceeded to say "we aren't able to do this" then sent him on his way. No referrals, no instructions on what to do NOTHING!!! And now hes in so much more pain then he was before he went in. And he now has a INFECTION and has to have his tooth SURGICALLY removed!!

Even when I return a call, I am still transferred to another representative. The only way I’ve been able to get anything resolved is by visiting the office in person. I hope this issue can be addressed to improve communication and customer satisfaction.

They obviously have nice a bunch of nice tools and a remodeled space, but if this is what your state HMO will cover…it’s probably the best place. If you have a good dental premium and the time to shop around definitely do that!

Experiencia negativa: Worst customer service ive ever experienced. They barely answer the phone and the lady that does never knows the answers to anything she just transfers you over or hangs up. I went to get an extraction & the dentist Dr. Aqil wasnt able to get the whole tooth out. I did have some anxiety which i told him about previously. He told me to raise my hand if i was in pain but when i did he told me to put my hand down. He kept cracking jokes and honestly it wasnt the time for it. He is young but you have to be able to read the room. He referred me to an oral surgeon. .. ive tried contacting them today to get them to send the surgeon a fax of the referal as i was told. Ive called over 20 times just for them to pick up and hang up constantly. I have a peice of tooth left in my gums so this is urgent for me. I would never recommend this place to anyone. This has been extremely stressful and the lack of consideration and communication is beyond me. Nevertheless, im looking for a new dentist for the future... (the dental assistant was very sweet but thats the only positive thing i can say about this place. I am truly disappointed.) I DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Experiencia negativa: A dental prophylaxis isn’t complicated. It’s the standard cleaning that’s supposed to include scaling or scraping away plaque and tartar, polishing, flossing, checking for buildup along the gumline, and often fluoride to strengthen enamel. That’s the definition of a cleaning, and it’s fully covered under my UnitedHealthcare Plan. What I received at Bright Dental on Lincoln Ave was none of that. They skipped straight to a quick gritty polish, gave me a rinse, and sent me out the door. No scaling, no gumline check, no flossing, no fluoride. To make matters worse, I had to point out a cavity to the dentist that he had completely missed. I had booked with an older male dentist, but the dentist I actually saw was much younger, so I couldn’t identify the specific dentist involved. If these employees went through school and got their licenses to practice, then they know better and should be ashamed of the care they’re providing, and it makes me wonder if not doing a true cleaning by professional definition is simply an attempt to get more people in and out the door. UnitedHealthcare confirmed afterward that a full prophylaxis is covered. Did Bright Dental bill my insurance for the complete service anyway? Who knows, but I sure will find out when I call UnitedHealthcare once the claim hits. Because of this substandard care, I have already filed a formal grievance with my insurance provider. Warning to others: if you leave this office questioning whether you actually received the cleaning you’re entitled to, call your insurance provider and ask what’s covered, and what this office billed. Otherwise you’re wasting your insurance benefits, wasting your copay, and letting your oral health suffer because of Bright Dental’s negligence.

Dr. Talmeez Syed, D.D.S. is truly exceptional — his confidence, swiftness, and thorough explanations made me feel completely at ease throughout my visit. His skill and attention to detail are unmatched, and the results of his work were simply awesome. The numbing was absolutely perfect, and the treatment — even with the state of my teeth — was so smooth, comfortable, and absolutely worth sharing with the whole world. A special shout-out to his dental assistant, Danna, who comforted me the entire time and reassured me that I was in the best hands. Experiencia negativa: I was in severe pain and would have left immediately had I been able. I have never experienced a dental office that administers anesthesia and then demands payment while the patient is still in the chair. When my husband and I questioned this practice, the doctor became visibly upset and attempted to remove my husband from the room, citing a “company policy” that had never been mentioned or shown to us until that moment. When I was first called back, my husband was outside. I asked the front desk to notify him, and they allowed him to join me without objection. At no point was he told that he could not be present. It appeared the policy was applied selectively and only when convenient. Although the doctor ultimately allowed my husband to stay after I insisted, he attempted to justify his actions by claiming my husband’s presence made him anxious—following our questioning of the office’s questionable practice of demanding payment while I was under anesthesia.

I don’t remember the name of the woman who assisted me, but she had long red hair and the gentlest spirit. Although we couldn’t communicate much in English, she understood exactly what I was feeling and offered me comfort in the most beautiful way even holding my hand while I was in pain. Another kind woman came over to translate my gratitude into Spanish, and her sincere smile touched me deeply. I felt genuinely cared for. I’ll absolutely be back!

I now have to physically drive there to speak to someone because their answering service is useless and very unprofessional. Had to drive there a 2nd time after their answering service scolded me for calling so often. I am NOT happy with this place. Experiencia negativa: The WORST experience, I went for an emergency and a toothache and then the “dentist” offered me a Root Canal but I had to wait like a week for the medical plan approval (that is, they didn’t treat my case as an emergency) my pain was immense because the cavity reached my nerve, I called them 2 weeks later and nothing had happened, they told me they couldn’t do anything until approval, my pain was agonizing, they never offered me treatment for the pain, they never offered me a “plan b”. I had to go crying to the ER and they gave me temporary relief, after 3 weeks they “schedule” an appointment and say to come by my root canal at 12pm, then they start taking too long and tell me there were patients at that time and I was speechless (they called me to come in, how come they don’t have space?) then they finally sit me on a table and after almost 25 days of waiting and the dentist not being able to do his job and he told me that my tooth was worse that he was going to refer me and I had to wait again and I complained to him about everything they had made me go through without a solution and the dentist crossed the personal line and came up to me and said to my face (in a sarcastic tone) that if I had paid for an extraction this could have been avoided) and they threw me out of there. Thank God that same day I found a better place and better service far from there.

And I will never go back my appointment was at 3 and was told to hurry and fill out paper work because they would be closing soon. When they were doing the cleaning I felt like they were rushing. They supposedly did a deep cleaning in 30 minutes. I don’t recommend this place.

Experiencia negativa: I am writing to express my concerns regarding the recent dental treatment I received at your office. My first temporary crown was poorly shaped and misaligned, and it fell off after just five days. I returned to the office for a correction, and during this visit, I was informed that an implant would be a better option, costing $3,000—a significant difference compared to the initial recommendation of an $800 crown. I have consulted with three other dentists, all of whom advised that a crown would be necessary. Now, I am being told that the amount I have already paid for the crown will be applied toward the cost of the implant. This change in recommendations is confusing, especially considering I was never given any other options for treatment other than the crown from the outset. Since I am covering the cost of these services out of pocket, I am understandably upset by this unexpected development. Additionally, the temporary crown they placed in my mouth does not allow me to floss properly, leading to tartar buildup between my teeth, which is particularly concerning since this involves one of my front teeth. I am very disappointed with my experience and would appreciate clarification regarding these issues and a potential resolution because I will be going elsewhere for the work needed.

Experiencia negativa: Very disappointed patient, I went to my appointment on New Years Eve. Yes I know who does that, so I decided I'm here why not right, wrong. I had a molar tooth extraction surgery around 330 ended up in the ER at 8 pm. The reason I had to go because I was bleeding continuously. In order to stop the bleeding they stitched me up. The dentist should have done that to begin with. Instead sent me on my way without stitching to prevent severe bleeding. So not only did I have to pay a good amount of money to get that done now I'm stuck with a ER bill. Before leaving the dentist please make sure everything is done prior to leaving so the same thing won't happen to you.

Experiencia negativa: WORST dental experience ever! The dentist attempts to fill a cavity using diluted pain killer to numb the pain. I've never had pain after numbing at a dentist. What was used began to wear off in 15 minutes the same 15 minutes he used to duck off which may have been actually 20 minutes because I had no sense of time sitting in the cheapest of dental chairs giving the bare minimum of comfort and care. Then after all the embarrassment and wondering what's next the dentist tells me he refill the tooth where he had breach it and I'm saying, "Hold up you not going to finish the procedure to correct my cavity?". This is the same dentist wanting to pull out a tooth of mine stating it can't be reached that the cavity is to close to the gum line yet informs me during this recent debacle of dentistry the X-ray didn't reveal a cavity yet he "seen" it with his own eyes. This same place drilled two years ago (dental bonded) a perfectly good tooth and how you ask simple the dentist then worked on the wrong tooth and that experience brought me back three times in on week NO KIDDING! This place is horrible

Experiencia fantástica: The dentist that my kids seen was amazing he was very good with them.I had two kids that had to have teeth removed. Overall amazing work but yea the wait time needs worked on. The dentist did apologize about the wait time and the fact that it was shift change time also.

Experiencia fantástica: I was on my 3rd visit to pickup my full mouth two pieces regular dentures,… The dentist was knowledgeable and very helpful…..! Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Kevin is amazing. Explains the whole process of the procedures and goes above and beyond to make sure the patient is comfortable.

Experiencia negativa: The staff is friendly but the service is cursory I don’t know how an annual exam can take 10 minutes. I’m not sure what has changed in the past year but the service used to be much more thorough.

Experiencia positiva: Staff was very friendly and kind the dentist was very good and explained what procedures needed to be done and I felt at ease.

Experiencia fantástica: Awesome team and dentist, quick service, great cleaning for my sons. Oldest had cavities that were taken care of on the spot! Nice clean friendly environment. Very nice staff. I will continue to come back again and again

Experiencia negativa: This place is not what your used to like back in a more professional dentistry .this is more of a drive thru you know like where they forget the important basics.and please don't bring your children here. If you have no choice and your looking for the $ dollar menu then this is it.its getting harder for us on social security to find quality although we pay for our insurance the professionalism .this is your basic .and there calling service no lies you can hardly understand what their saying Must be related to the new owners Mideastern I think wait to they call you you'll see this place was a good place pre covid now the new owners is all about the money and what they can charge your insurance for the extras .if its your routine cleaning if you can call that in and out in 10 minutes.see what i mean .Just dont expect much and you won't feel to disappointed .SORRY BUT THOSE ARE FACTS..

Experiencia fantástica: I arrived for my appointment and I noticed waiting room was very clean. Check in was easy. Friendly personal who, you could tell, liked their jobs and were really willing to help you out. My hygienist was friendly and professional. Since I have sensitive teeth, she was gentle and explained everything she was doing. My dentist was also very professional and did not suggest procedures that were not necessary. He treated me with utmost respect. This will be my dentist office from now on.
