Experiencia negativa: I had the worst experience here. I was unfortunate to come in on a day that a dentist was leaving. He brought up some personal gripes about the , and was highly unprofessional throughout the visit. I had an infected tooth and I told him my plan was was to eventually get dentures, but I didn’t have money or credit. He proceeded to poke holes all over my teeth, and tell me he could do all the work that day. I told him i didn’t have $10000 to do that. Since then my teeth have deteriorated. This was at least 5 years ago, so hopefully they have changed how they handle disgruntled dentists that are leaving.

Experiencia fantástica: The entire experience was exceptional! The entire staff was professional, kind, and knowledgeable! Everyone went above and beyond to make sure that my questions were answered and my dental needs were met. I would highly recommend Monarch Dental!!

Experiencia negativa: Staff is nice but we will not go back. We tried it several times. Once the waiting room was so crowded at least 20% of people in the waiting room were standing. One guy finally went up to the front desk and asked if he could have his appt. transferred to another location so that he could never enter this location again. Another time we were grossly overcharged for my son's dental work and had to nag them for two months to get our over-payment back. Then for the same procedure we were going to be charged even MORE for my daughter, and they could not explain why it was higher and would not let us just put a deposit and get the remainder billed later, and would also not agree to accept the over-payment in our account from the other kid towards the next procedure. We had to get insurance co. on the phone at the front desk to verify that they were asking for too much upfront before they would start the procedure. We had other issues, too, where they would not start a procedure unless another adult family member was sitting in the waiting room waiting the whole time (not just drop off adult child, go run errands and then come back to p/u after the procedure). Just incompetently run on all levels, even though the dentists and assistants are nice.

Experiencia fantástica: The staff is very friendly and helpful, the hygienists are personable and lead with kindness (even if you’re terrible about flossing they don’t guilt trip you). Dr Brown is seriously the best dentist I’ve had. She explains things really well and makes sure you’re well informed without talking down to you. She’s really makes sure you understand your options. She’s not the kind of dentist to nickel and dime you and to try to get more services out of you. She actually listens and takes a good approach to her care. The staff have frequently gone above and beyond to help me understand services and work with my insurance to understand coverage and advocate for me. I love working with the staff and if you choose to work with them you’ll be in great hands!

Experiencia fantástica: I chipped one of my front incisors while vacationing in Florida. The office was able to get me in quickly upon my return. I thought it might need a veneer or crown but Dr. Brown did a beautiful job repairing it with a filling. She is always so kind and explains everything as she goes along. I can smile again without feeling self conscious! I highly recommend her and this office!

Experiencia fantástica: I had a fairly simple procedure, replacing a filling and a chipped bit of tooth. Both Dr Brown and her assistant were friendly and responsive on top of being skilled and efficient. And the front desk will be great once the new software isn't so new.

Experiencia positiva: Dr. Reschke was great! He was friendly, gentle, and did a good job. I do want to make it known though that the environment felt *off*—the front desk receptionist wasn’t professional as she was complaining to me (the patient) about something that happened while I was there with someone who walked in. The office floor looked like it was long due for a good deep clean and the office felt dirty. It was also very strange they do the assessment first then you have to return for a cleaning. I plan to return since I just need to just need to get my teeth cleaned periodically and have low-maintenance teeth, but those are things to be aware of.

Never called back. my wife went for her appt waited for and hour took xray and sent her somewhere else. Wow couldn’t even give her something for the infection. I mentioned I have dealt with TMJ and having my mouth be open for long periods of time can make my jaw hurt and become sore. He was very cautious and kept asking me if I was okay or if I needed to take a break. The girl who did my x-rays(didn’t catch her name) was also very sweet and super kind!

To their dental assistant Tahlia, who was knowledgeable, quick to get my X-rays done as well as any prep work needed. And a fun, bright happy team member who helped feel comfortable , and even had me laughing when typically I am an anxious wreck at the dentist.!! The hygienist Sharla was efficient at getting me back and my teeth cleaned as well as very personable!. Dr Brown is an amazing Dentist, she was amazing at explaining what she was doing which made me feel better involved with my heath, as well as making me feel calm. 10/10 recommend this office.! Amazing staff and patient care!.

Experiencia positiva: The services were fine for a while. I was getting a more thorough cleaning, then decided I just wanted a basic typical cleaning. When I told them I just wanted a basic cleaning, they refused to see me as a patient unless I got their more expensive cleaning. They literally would not allow me to get their standard cleaning. So unfortunately I had to find somewhere else. Very weird business practice if you ask me.

Experiencia negativa: Calling the number listed directs you to a call center. The call center failed to tell me that you first have to do a consultation appointment before being allowed to do a cleaning. Only figured that out after spending 25 minutes on that phone with the call center and 30 minutes filling out paper work in their office.

Experiencia positiva: First off dr brown is one amazing dentist. Give her 10 stars but the constant emails and text to confirm appointments are ridiculous. I mentioned this to the front desk that called me to confirm She was very defensive. When I went to talk to her about at my wife’s appointment she accused me of yelling at her. Guess she don’t know what yelling is. Never raised my voice. But I was frustrated. So I will not be going back to this office. I will try my luck elsewhere. My wife also loves doctor brown. Advise. Hire people that talk to customers to thicken their skins. Or work in the mail room. Ridiculous. Not first bad experience at this office in last 8 years of going here. But I’ve had enough. No change.

Experiencia negativa: Probably the only dentist I have ever been to or heard of that doesn't include a cleaning with an exam and x-rays. What a waste of time. You need a separate appointment for a cleaning. Even though the hygienist will still see you to just check on you. Also, no dental insurance means way more expensive procedures than other places. Going back to my old dentist. Nice front ladies up at the front desk though!

Experiencia negativa: Wish I could give it zero stars. This place was great at first. But as I started my invisalign process with them it quickly turned to a terrible experience. I was scanned three different times, and waited 4 months for my invisalign just for them to tell me they were getting a new orthodontist and that I had to redo my scans again. After traveling and wasting gas money each time I had to go back to get rescanned, I decided to no longer get invisalign through them. I asked for a refund of my money, which they said was possible. But I have been waiting for my refund for almost two months. I was treated so terribly when I tried to explain to them my frustrations. I feel the people who scanned for my invisalign was not properly trained to do so, and the staff there are not managed well on how to do there job properly. I feel like I have been taken advantage of and will never see my money again. I am a college student who just wanted one of my insecurities (my teeth) fixed, and instead I wasted money and time with no outcome at all.

Experiencia negativa: I went in for a cleaning and asked if I could use x rays from my previous dentist that were taken 6 months ago since my insurance only covers one time a year and getting x rays done hurts my mouth so I try to avoid it. They let me send them my old x rays and then forced me to get new ones anyway, which I had to pay out of pocket for. Then after x rays they told me the hygienist is busy and can’t clean my teeth so I would have to make another appointment to come back for a cleaning. The soonest appointment was a month later and I got my teeth cleaned. It went fine but unless you like making multiple trips to the dentist for a simple cleaning I wouldn’t recommend it.

Experiencia fantástica: Friendly, helps you understand what your options are. They don't make you feel like a number. Their focus seems to be on quality and affordability. If there were anything I'd change, the chairs are a little uncomfortable. But honestly I'd rather them focus on affordable over creature comforts.

Experiencia negativa: Went in on a supposed free checkup promotion for work. Turns out it's bait and switch they even admitted it. Instead I had to pay for the visit they wanted to send me to a specialist because they couldn't figure which tooth hurt.(MORE MONEY) all it said on the add was free checkup and x-rays and reduced rates on other services. No stipulations. In other words don't go there I got ripped off and you probably will too. They also told me a cap would cost $2600 got a flyer in the mail to have one done for $699 Almost $2000 difference.

Experiencia negativa: I went in for a consult to get my wisdom teeth removed, waited for 40 minutes for a 5 minute appointment - but that’s not the worst part. I was taken back to a little room and sat on the bed and I noticed that the bed hadn’t been cleaned, wiped down, or sterilized in anyway from the previous patient as there were bloody teeth on the armrest of the chair. I will not be coming back to get my wisdom teeth removed at this location.

Experiencia negativa: Be careful when purchasing the one smile dental plan they offer. No one explained to me they would store my card and renew it without the need for my approval. I relocated and a year later got a charge for another year, I tried calling to get a refund, they said they could only do a partial refund since they had sent me an email prior to running my card, which conveniently went to the spam folder (but the one saying they ran my card didn't?) anyway, I found it kind of unethical on the part of this dental office, given that if you're signing up for that kind of dental plan is because you're in need of a discount due to low income, but yet somehow they find a way to make you lose money or force you to pay fees not considered in your budget, or lock you in for another year of their service. They should be clearer, it's a dental plan not an apple subscription. I didn't even knew at the time I purchased it that they kept my card information to rerun it. No one at the dental office explained that to me. If they're recommending this kind of plans, they should be clear about what entails. I didn't even heard from them the whole year I was enrolled in the plan, but I guess I forgot about them but they didn't forget about me, or at least about my card information.

Experiencia negativa: The cost of dental here is cheap, but the quality of their work is terrible. They had to fix my tooth with filling, but it fell out three times. The last time they did the filling, they tried to overcharge me for it. I don’t recommend this place. They always try to overcharge for everything and never provide high quality service.

Additionally, the cost was about half what I was paying my former dentist. They have gained a new customer.

She explained step by step what was happening as she worked and would check in often to see if I was comfortable or needed a break. Treatment plans are easy to understand, the prices are reasonable, and the rest of the staff have been great to work with as well. This is the only dental office I’m going to from now on!

Experiencia positiva: This was my first time with them, and the doctor was great explaining step by step what it was needed. She answered all my questions, and was patient explaining the treatment that I need. At the end when they explained the treatment, and the cost of it, I was really surprised to see the prices, they were reasonable, and affordable. I want to say that I went before to another dental office (I will give my review of them later), and for the same treatment they were charging me the triple of it. I have my appointment for the treatment this week and I’ll see how it goes, and I’ll continue with my review. Oh I need to say that my son also was checked, and they told me that he only needed three filings, when in the other place they told me that my son had many cavities. I already like them, because I see that they are honest.

Experiencia negativa: The dentist did not discover the cavity in the back of my molar for which I had made the visit in the first place. I've had many cavities over my lifetime and I know during the exam when they're using the little pic what it feels like when they find a suspicious area and they examine the x-rays more closely and then probe again and find something and when they find nothing. I could have done the exam better than he did.

Experiencia negativa: My kid broke a bracket chewing on bread a couple days after an appointment. We immediately called and asked to see if we could get it fixed and the earliest time anywhere was almost at a month later. We waited, even though it was hurting my child (she dealt with the pain and frustration) but then the day before the appointment, we got a call that the ortho had something come up and now we have to wait another month (36 additional days) to be seen. We asked if there were any other times, locations, anything and they said "no". This is ridiculous. If we had not already paid in full, we would be going to a different orthodontics.

Experiencia fantástica: My 7yr old was needing a tooth extracted and after meeting with 3 other dentists we decided to give Monarch a try. Thankfully we did because we got the care and compassion we were looking for. A quick appointment and gentle hands were exactly what we needed. We were truly blessed by this experience and my daughter has walked away from her first big dental treatment with zero trauma. Definitely a successful experience.

Experiencia fantástica: I have only had a couple appointments here to speak for the entire facility, but my experience with Dr. Brown is definitely worth 5 stars. She is the most understanding, and least judgmental I have ever encountered. She is very good and helping you feel at ease, and is skilled at what she does. I have had the front desk be beyond helpful as well. When my prescription was mistakenly sent to another pharmacy, they were so nice about helping me by calling themselves to figure things out, and didn't act put out at all! I was very appreciative with it being on a Friday, and me being in pain until I could have my root canal completed. I've yet to have a bad experience here, and I am definitely a more sever case of dental phobia/anxiety. I highly recommend Dr. Brown!

Experiencia fantástica: Some dentists see a faint shadow on any tooth and it’s time to drill. These guys are better than that. They took a wait and see approach with me and I think that shows that they are a quality company that isn’t going to sacrifice a person’s long term health to squeeze more money out of you. I’m not a dentist though so take that as you will. Sometimes if you wait and see you don’t need to drill, and that faint shadow was nothing after all. A tooth that hasn’t been filled and never had a cavity will always be healthier than a filled tooth. So, I really like monarch and I highly recommend them.

Experiencia fantástica: I had to have a root canal done 10/14/22 and the process was a breeze. I don’t like going to the dentist as I’ve mostly had painful experiences, but this was different. Hardly felt the needle for the numbing and after that I felt nothing. Not one time during the fix did I feel pain. I’m writing this review the day after and I have zero pain or aches. Which is surprising. Thank you for making this experience painless and easy!

Experiencia negativa: Our experience at Monarch has been less than ideal. We have always waited an hour before being seen. We went with them for orthodontic care, this was a HUGE mistake. They billed our insurance company double the amount they quoted us. When I got a second and third opinion half way through treatment, I was told by two other orthodontists that the treatment plan we were on was not appropriate for my son. The new orthodontist has removed all of the braces and is really starting over with a different approach. However, because Monarch charged the insurance company so much for the first treatments, they have used up the majority of my lifetime max for orthodontia. This is highly dishonest! It is basically insurance fraud on their part. I will be filing a grievance with the insurance company to hopefully ensure that no one else needs to be swindled by these highly unethical practices. We do like the dentist there, she is knowledgeable and kind. However, we will not be able to return after such dishonest billing practices have been exhibited on the part of the orthodontist team.

Experiencia negativa: Dr. Brown cost me thousands of dollars by completely missing an abscess tooth. She said it didn’t show up in the ex rays. So if an infected tooth doesn’t show up in ex rays Dr. Brown will just send you on your way. Is this normal dentistry? If you have a problem with Dr. Brown be prepared to hear her say “I’m sorry” That is her only communication. This place is a complete joke!! This isn’t just a bad review! It is a horrible review. My dental insurance is working on a claim for the worst dentist in Utah County. Dr Brown. Although it is Utah County! Probably comes with the territory. DONT GO TO MONARCH DENTAL IN AMERICAN FORK! DONT GO TO DR. BROWN! She is terrible!

Experiencia fantástica: I had a filling come out at the back of my front tooth. Dr. Brown saw me early before regular appointments. I was fixed in no time at all. Dr, Brown is the greatest not only for seeing me but for the way she works and communicates. She ranks wilth the best ever who have worked on my dental issues.

Experiencia negativa: I had a terrible experience with Monarch Dental. I have fairly healthy teeth, rarely get cavities, and general have good experiences with dentists. I went to Monarch for a routine cleaning because they were the only ones to take our temporary insurance. I was not having any teeth pain or problems. I had a couple small cavities filled and an old cavity fixed. Ever since then, I have had awful nerve pain and teeth sensitivity issues for almost two months now. Eating is painful, the pain radiates into my jawbone and into my head hours after eating. I went back in twice to see if they could help resolve it or discover why I am having so much pain and they cannot. The pain I am having is in both the teeth that were drilled and has caused referred pain into other teeth. They finally referred me to an endodontist to take care of me, now that their work caused damage, and I may need a root canal. This has been excruciating. Only positive is the few lbs I’ve lost due to the inability to eat I guess.

Experiencia negativa: I would like to to start by saying they were able to get us in for an urgent appointment on a Saturday morning. For that we are grateful, and the Dentist was correct on Her assessment. The problems started on the follow up Monday morning. My wife was still in severe pain. They proscribed antibiotics witch we were aware take a couple of days to become effective. So she called to see if they could change them to a stronger broad spectrum antibiotic because their had not been any improvement and they just said she should go to the ER! They then called me 3 times in a row while I was in a meeting to tell me that they messed up and they were not supposed to tell her to go to the ER. Next they asked me about my insurance information, obviously very important! At no time did they offer to assist us to remedy the situation. In the mean time she has gone to her regular Dentist and they have began proper treatment. I'm sure that the Dentist is capable and competent so she should probably find a new office to work out of. I hope this was a one off

Experiencia negativa: I went to the Monarch Dental in Orem for close to 20 years and had great service and care. Because of the pandemic, they ended up closing that office, and I shifted to this one because my husband liked the lady dentist there. I don't have any issues with her, but the staff is horrible. The assistant who was supposed to put on a temporary worked on it for an hour and it fell off as soon as I got home. What caused me to seek out a new dentist however was their complete inflexibility to accommodate because of a dental emergency. Orem always worked around that. If the AF office can't do that because they're overwhelmed after combining the offices, they need to reconsider. I've found a new dentist.

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Brown is the best dentist I have ever had. I have had so many rude and impatient dentists in the past. She takes time to explain everything she's doing and she doesn't feel rushed. I drive from provo to this office because of her!

Experiencia negativa: My new dental insurance through work recommended this place to bring my daughter. She has 8 cavities to be filled. We had pre approval for out of pocket at $80 for all 8. We went to get them filled and they had no laughing gas and use the old school numbing needle for children. I've never seen my kid so afraid. We only got through 2 fillings and we were charged 110. I know this is partly an insurance issue, but I do not recommend bringing a child to this place. I will pay out of pocket for insurance to bring my daughter back to her old dentist that she loved and always looked forward to going to... even for fillings, she always loved the dentist until this experience. Update 8/13 2021. Manager called me and said we will call insurance (8 cavities quoted at $80) received this bill today for 2..

Experiencia negativa: I had a cleaning scheduled for weeks and took work off for the appointment. Once I filled out my paperwork I was taken to an X-ray room and informed that the hygienist wasn’t in that day and I would have to schedule another appointment. They may have mentioned they don’t do cleanings on the first visit? They said the call center that schedules people don’t mention that. It would have been very nice to know. What a waste of time.

Experiencia negativa: I moved to utah and needed a new dentist. I decided to try monarch dental because I live close. I scheduled a cleaning. When I went in for my appointment they gave me X-rays which is normal and then led me back to my chair. I waited 35 minutes before the dentist came by to check my teeth. She took a look and said everything looked good. Then then took the next 10 minutes to try and sell me on implants. I told her maybe some point in the future but for right now I just needed to get my teeth cleaned. She told me she would get me a quote just in case. After she left I waited another 15 minutes before another women came back and informed me they couldn’t get me a quote because the specialist would need to generate that quote. I told her that was fine I really just needed my teeth cleaned. She went up to check on that. After another 10 minutes a different girl came back to get me to “schedule a time to come back for a cleaning.” I had already been there for over an hour and they wanted me to schedule an entirely different time to come back in? Now since that appointment I found another dentist that I love but Monarch dental keeps sending me a bill for the waste of a visit I had with them. The first thing they did when I first arrived was take my insurance card and make a copy for their records. My insurance covers everything. On the bills they keep sending it shows that they do not have my Insurance entered. I have called almost everyday for the past month and a half and I get the voicemail every time. You would think they would make it easier to get them paid. Worst dentist experience I have ever had. Most dentist offices struggle in the billing department but this one seems to really struggle. I went to Clayton M. Hansen in America Fork and I would highly suggest them.

Experiencia negativa: Scammers!!! Fake doctors?? I called in on a Monday to make an appointment to get my wisdom(1) teeth removed that was aching and disturbing me. They gave me the next day appointment at 12:30 but had to be their 30 mins early for paper work. I got there and told the secretary I was their to get my wisdom teeth out she said great and gave me paper work to work on. Gave it to her and she said she needed to take X-rays and had to do a dental check and everything costed extra!!! Not sure why I needed so many x-rays of my whole mouth and a dental check up when i clearly was their for ONE PURPOSE ONLY! After over 20 x-rays of teeth and being their nearly 2 hours the so named “DR (dentist)” checked my mouth and said all looked great! He had no idea what i was their for no idea what he was even looking for! My gums around that wisdom teeth were swollen, my cheek was too and he tells me “all looks great”. He didn’t ask what I was their for he walked in told me to lay back and after he finished the dental check up he said all looked great and if anything was hurting?! I told him and he said he had no time for that extraction and i would have to come in another time?!!! I left 2 hours later with the Exact same pain i came in. Only difference now is that i was SCAMMED into paying 45$ for X-rays i didn’t need! The lack of communication with the secretary to tell the “Dr” what i was their for. The lack of knowledge the “dr” had his lack of communication with his team to simply ask what the patient needs. He had no name tag either! They probably do that to hide the obvious! Don’t come here to get scammed!!! Don’t come here for an urgent need they are not prepared for it. Don’t come it your time is valuable.
