Experiencia fantástica: I have been going to Legacy Dental for 15 years, and they are amazing. Recently, I chipped a tooth and was messaging them on their app at 8:30 at night. They were responding and got me an appointment next day. I was able to meet Tina, who is an amazing assistant. She brought in Dr. Call to help, and they were an awesome team together. Humorous, good bedside manner, great conversationalists that made me feel at ease, and they fixed my smile. Brooke was awesome at getting me through insurance and billing, and extremely friendly. Thank you for continuing to provide exceptional service that goes way above and beyond.

Experiencia positiva: I have been going to Legacy dental for years. Dr Campbell is awesome. But yesterday (10/3/25) the lady assisting him was in a hurry, rude and just plain unprofessional. I have never had a problem there and I hope I never will again.

Experiencia negativa: Absolute worst experience I’ve ever had at a dentist’s office. The dentist couldn’t be bothered to come into the exam room for more than 2 minutes. Jammed an instrument into my mouth, never bothered to ask if it hurt or was uncomfortable. He was pretty flippant while delivering an unfortunate diagnosis, rattled off 3 complex procedures with 0 explanation, and then walked out. As I was checking out, I told the billing person how confused I was by the experience and she was obviously very annoyed and spoke condescendingly. Also overheard the front desk staff making fun of a patient for wanting to cancel an appointment and reschedule in November when they didn’t have availability. I don’t know the context but if you’re going to talk shit about patients, maybe close the door that connects the exam room to the reception area.

I found all aspects of your work from entering the door to the treatment professionals and the summery that was given me about what was needed next. Your staff was superior in their treatment of me. Thank as I have never had that great treatment in 81 years of my life.

Experiencia fantástica: My experience here was great! I had to book an emergency appointment because I suddenly got a massive toothache. I was able to get an appointment for the same day, the exam was quick, and it was quickly determined what could be causing the pain and our next steps to get me back to feeling better. The office had a pleasant atmosphere and the staff were all friendly. I'll definitely be coming back here for future cleanings and follow-up work.

I had tried many practices throughout the valley but no one clicked with me as well as the staff at Legacy. I expressed on my first appointment that I was embarrassed and really uncomfortable letting people poke around in there and Dr. Belky not only took care of the problems, but along the ride he helped rebuild my confidence and also lose some insecurities. Dr. Campbell is extremely skillful and thorough. He did my uppers and made sure everything was aligned, gapped correctly, smooth and comfy. I recently visited to get an extraction and Dr. Campbell/Tina made it quick and pain free. Highly recommend. Thank you Legacy!

They also do a great job of informing me of my options and not pressuring me into any unnecessary dental work. I was looking for a second opinion and when I called for an appointment (after searching reviews on Google) I was told that the soonest they could get me in was tomorrow at 6:30 PM. WHAT! I couldn't believe it. When I arrived I was greeted warmly and was taken back quickly. I had a great consultation with Dr. Hesselgesser (Dr. H) where he took the time during the exam to tell me what he was seeing and was patient with my questions and concerns. I recommend this group. Five stars easy.

Your face will get a little moist, but they provide a small towel afterwards. It’s nicely tucked away in Salt Lake City. Very friendly and thorough staff, too.

I prefer a dental practice with a good-sized team (but not too big) so I can get an appointment easily, and know that they are state-of-the-art when it comes to staffing skill set and technology. My experience with the Legacy team has been outstanding. All of the technicians and dentists have been caring and first rate. The organization is just the right size. Small enough to develop relationships, and big enough to get great service. Their turnover is low and they have many long-term employees. To me, this is a sign of a well-run organization. I find everyone at Legacy to down-to-earth and they have a lot of integrity. No sale pitches or uncomfortable up-selling (which I encountered at another dental practice in the Avenues). These are good people.

They didn't have the professionalism or the thought to consult with me about my concerns. Legacy Dental has those professionals. One of them is named Keisha, she helped the dentist, but she knew so much more than just shots. She answered my questions and put my mind at ease. I just came out of a double root canal procedure, and I feel much better. Both in my mind and in my teeth. They also offer payment plans, which is uncommon among the other places I've been to.

Experiencia fantástica: I was treated very kindly during my visit for my cleaning. I had some issues that made the cleaning painful and was even given some numbing mouthwash. When that wasn’t quite adequate, I was given a couple of numbing shots. I have never had a cleaning in the past that was painful like this one was, but I was shown compassion and understanding, then measures were taken to stop my pain. I am very grateful for the kindness I was shown and I do not dread going back in a few weeks to have some other work done because I know Dr. Campbell will be doing that work, and he is always kind and compassionate, plus conscientious of any pain I might experience. I really appreciate that his staff seemed to be as concerned about me as he always is, even though I went on a day when he was not in the office. The hygienist who cleaned my teeth was someone I hadn’t ever met before, yet she still treated me so nicely. Providers often don’t know about other things that are happening in the lives of their patients, and how much a little (or in this case a lot of) kindness, understanding, and compassion can mean to someone who is struggling in other areas of their life. It meant more to me than I can express. I love Legacy Dental because Dr. Campbell and his staff are always kind and concerned about the wellbeing of their patients. I felt like on this particular day, they were exceptionally kind to me, especially the hygienist.

But that being said, I am carefully considered and offered every comfort and helpful aid that they can possibly give me. I’m treated patiently and kindly. I do get 5-star service! All the staff are friendly and smiling and very cordial. My dentist made me chuckle when I asked him while he was working on me if he’d ever been bitten. He answered “Why? Do you want to bite me?” I assured him I wouldn’t but figured it was a hazard of his profession.

Experiencia negativa: Everyone at the office was nice enough and getting in for an appointment was easy. That’s about all the good things I can say. I had a general check in and tooth cleaning, and the hygienist cleaning my teeth was training with some new device. I work in the medical field, and I fully understand that individuals need hands on training to learn new devices and techniques, but this was a really uncomfortable experience physically, and the trainee seemed to have no interest in listening to her superior that was training her and it felt like a mess having her working on my teeth. Yes, my teeth got cleaned and nothing negative happened to my teeth, but it was the worst cleaning experience I’ve had. Then, there’s the cost. They artificially inflate the cost of a cleaning to 400+ dollars and have a membership(2 cleanings a year) for 360, so you’re basically forced to buy two cleanings before they even demonstrate their worth for you to come back as a customer. It feels sleezy, and after my experience I would have preferred going somewhere else for my next cleaning, but now I’m financially sunk into another cleaning. People seem to like this place so perhaps I just had a one off experience, but overall it was quite poor.

I got my appointment by communicating with amazing lady Tina :-) and they made accommodation for me same day .(WOW) I Will definitely be returning back for my future dental care need because of the amazing team Dr Westmoreland/Tina and staff. They have affordable prices for all their services.

The hygienists and dentists are all gentle and caring, and everyone goes out of their way to make sure patients feel safe and that their concerns and questions are being addressed effectively. Dr. Westmoreland is particularly amazing. I recently went in for a cleaning and discovered that I needed a couple of fillings in a molar. Dr. Westmoreland turned out to have some availability that day and offered to do the fillings right away, which was great. She was conscientious about ensuring that the numbing was fully effective and kept checking in with me, regularly keeping me informed of what would happen next so there were no surprises. She was extremely skilled at performing the procedure and I was pleasantly surprised at how low stress the whole experience was because of her expertise. She even checked in with me the next day to make sure I was doing well after the fillings. I have previously just taken whatever dentist was available for a particular appointment, but I plan to request her every time moving forward. She's fantastic.

Experiencia negativa: I saw Dr. Westmoreland. It was rough. She was too busy talking to her dental assistant to make me feel cared about. I usually expect a countdown with Novocain shots to prepare (cuz we all know they hurt) got nothing just bam bam bam shots. No explaining what she was doing for my tooth extraction. It was awkward and uncomfortable with no personal touch as far as any chatting asking if I was ok nothing. Don't think I'll be coming back here.

Experiencia fantástica: Both the Dentist and staff at Legacy Dental are amazing. My first interaction with them was almost a year ago due to tooth abscess. They got me in immediately and released the pressure right away relieving all that pain, put me on antibiotics, and then set appointment to address issue. I’ve always had bad experiences with dentist and neglected my teeth for years and so needed some additional work. Recently went back for issue that ended up being my gums was in and out! Have set up following appointment for more work and would not want to go anywhere else. Not only are they friendly, but amazing staff who ensure you have a great experience. Thank you!
