Fantastic experience: New patients. We both found the office extremely clean and the receptionist exceptionally cordial and professional. The dental attend greeted us in the lobby as opposed to simply announcing our names from the office doorway. How very professional and appreciated. The x-ray process can be uncomfortable wherever dental care is provided, the process here was performed professionally and as quickly as possible to alleviate enduring discomfort. Dr. Downer was very pleasant and completed a VERY thorough examination of every tooth and gum tissue. X-rays were displayed and detailed explanations were given. In our mid-seventies with twice a year dental visits elsewhere, we have never had such THOROUGH exams. Greatly appreciated the professionalism provided by the entire dental team..

Negative experience: Our family was misinformed on future appointments and made for a huge inconvenience in an appointment chain between orthodontist and dentist for the day. Dentist doesn't really have friendly demeanor either.

Fantastic experience: I have always had bad anxiety especially at the dentist until I started coming here. Dr.Downer and his staff create a welcoming space and have a natural ability to make you feel comfortable. I used to just go to the dentist when it was absolutely necessary, now I’m talking with Dr.Downer about things that bother me about my teeth even if it’s just cosmetic; I wouldn’t be able to do that if I didn’t feel comfortable and trust him completely. I’ll always refer everyone to Dr. Downer, hands down the best dentist you’ll find.

Fantastic experience: My previous dentist retired and so I recently started with Dr. Downer. I had a very old large filling fall out and needed my first crown. I was amazed that there was NO discomfort at all. It was an amazing experience, especially since in comparison to my prior fillings, the crown was by far more pleasant. In addition, I did not need a temporary crown since Dr. Downer can sculpt the crown in about 13 minutes (see video) and fire it to be ready in another 15 minutes. In one visit, I left with my new permanent crown. The staff are also amazing and kind. I highly recommend!!

Fantastic experience: I had my 6 month cleaning and check up this morning and, as usual, the experience was pleasant. The front desk staff are always friendly and helpful and the hygienist was also friendly and thorough. Dr. Downer gave a final check and gave me the opportunity to ask questions. I always leave Dr. Downer's office happy with the attention paid to my oral health!

Positive experience: The dental hygienist that worked on me today seemed to be lacking in her skill set. I held my mouth open for more than average. My jaws hurt. She asked about a bite block but I declined. I’ve never had a problem in my life. As a patient I gave her many clues indicating to possibly take a little more time. I had dry mouth and she only sprayed water 4 times for the entire cleaning. After the dentist came in and spoke to me, she finished up by saying she needed to do the polishing now. I realized after I left, I didn’t even get my teeth flossed. My husband had the same type of cleaning a few hours before me that day and they flossed his so I think it’s part of a cleaning procedure??? I just ask that I don’t get her again as my hygienist. She seemed very somber. Please and Thank you

Fantastic experience: The staff is always so wonderful. They all do their jobs extremely well. It’s always great to visit with Kathy during the appointment. Dr. Downer always takes time to have some personal conversation asking how things are and is always extremely insightful. Today while having work done I heard interactions in the adjacent room with a 1 year old on their first visit. The staff was patient and understanding to the demands that age brings and it was pleasant to listen to how they handled the situation. An excellent place I would recommend to anyone.

Fantastic experience: Needed a new crown. Due to “state of the art” equipment and Dr. Downer and staff, new crown was completed in one visit and fit perfectly the first time. It’s obvious there is mutual respect within the office and that includes patients.

Fantastic experience: Gotta say reviews are far and few from me but this office is always so friendly and quick to help clients. I had to have an emergency visit done the day after Thanksgiving and Dr. Downer and his hygenist came in to take care of some severe pain that had me in the ER the day before. Truly thankful for them and God bless that entire staff there. If you need quality care and a friendly personal touch this is the place to go!

With every step I was treated with kindness, care and a level of expertise that has produced exceptional work that I will enjoy the rest of my days. I highly recommend his work.

Fantastic experience: Always a positive experience here. I broke a tooth in half and they worked me in within 48 hours and took x-rays to assess. A week later I had a custom cap and crown made and finished the repair. The entire repair and installation was completed in a 2 hour appointment. Great experience, great work.

Fantastic experience: 2024 UPDATE: We still love going to Dr. Downer's office. Everyone from the front desk to the hygenists/dental assistants to Dr. Downer himself is GrEaT! They answer questions/concerns, personable and always make us feel welcome. We HIGHLY recommend! We have been very happy with everyone at Dr. Downer's office. We had to quickly find another dentist as ours had "picked up & left" leaving us and many others scrambling. They were so kind & understanding, getting us in as quickly as possible. They use up to date equipment and procedures...our teeth have never been so clean! Our original frustration with having to find another dentist has been quickly replaced with "joy" on our new dentist & staff...we couldn't be happier!
