Fantastic experience: I went in because a tooth was bothering me. They scheduled me the very next day to be seen. Not only that, the dentist was very booked but he made time to hear my concerns and fix my issue right away. He said he did not want me to be in pain for a week (he was leaving for vacation i believe) and talked to me about coming up with a game plan my next visit to get me back where I want/ need to be with my dental health. This is a wonderful location.

Fantastic experience: Outstanding dentist (Dr. Williams) and his entire staff! I needed alot of work when I started with him about 13 years ago and he has done crowns, root canals, a bridge, fillings, whatever I needed and always does excellent work. The hygienists are awesome! My husband and I see them twice a year and they keep our teeth and gums clean and healthy. They also took care of my elderly Mom until she passed away - even providing a blanket to keep her warm. She loved them. I highly recommend Louisa Comprehensive Dental.

Negative experience: I am reposting this as my previous feedback was removed, but the public deserves to know about the appalling and unprofessional business practices occurring here. While the dentists and hygienists appeared to be extremely professional, skilled, gentle, and provide great care, the administrative side is an absolute disaster that treats patients with zero respect from the moment I was mislead about the timing of my appointment and the attitude the moment I walked in the door the first time. This office is engaging in a retaliatory "bait and switch" by canceling my young daughter’s necessary dental appointment without any notification or warning because of a billing discrepancy on my completely separate account. It is disgusting and shameful to target a little girl and withhold her healthcare over administrative delays, unbilled disputes, clerical errors, or passive-aggressive text messages involving a parent's account. My daughter and I have entirely different insurance policies and separate accounts, yet they are punishing her and actively hindering her medical progress while she is in braces and urgently needs a tooth capped to continue her orthodontic care. When confronted about the status of her specific insurance, the office dismissively and disrespectfully told me that filing insurance is merely a "courtesy" and that it is my job to pay, investigate, resolve, and figure out the balance immediately if a claim hasn't returned. I have informed this office several times that I have never even received a formal bill, yet they would rather send demanding, rude, aggressive, and unprofessional texts than conduct honest business. If you value your time, your family's dignity, your children’s health, or basic professional decency, stay far away from the administrative nightmare and predatory collection tactics at this office.

Fantastic experience: Jeriann did an excellent job during my biannual teeth cleaning and Dr Williams talked with me about upcoming procedures. Louisa Comprehensive Dental folks are the best.

Fantastic experience: I appreciated Dr Williams transparency when communicating and coming up with a plan of action. Also, that was the best experience I’ve had in a dental chair. I felt nothing, never felt like I couldn’t breathe, and only the site was numb.

Fantastic experience: "From the moment you walk in, you are treated with care. The front desk staff is incredibly organized, and the hygienists are always thorough and gentle. My Son had a procedure done When he had his front tooth knocked out during baseball all the staff was not only incredibly skilled but also made sure he was comfortable the entire time. And managed to get his tooth fixed in a matter of no time!! He used to fear the dentist, but now he actually looks forward to going half of it is because, of the positive environment at Louisa comprehensive dental!

Fantastic experience: The girls at the front desk were very friendly. I didn't have to wait a long time to be seen. And when I was seen dr. Williams assistant was the sweetest nicest person ever. I had had a rough day earlier with affordable dental in cville. She was so nice i completely forgot the mess earlier. Dr. Williams was so pleasant. He offered to try and fix the mess affordable dental had made. Of course I said no thank you. I had maxed my insurance out. But he offered to adjustment my old partial until my insurance kicked back in. He explained everything so clear and the options I could have for further work. The whole experience with them made my day. I know his work and he is truly an expert at his profession. Pure perfection.

Fantastic experience: This is my regular dental office and when I had a dental cap pop off I called the office at 7 am and left a message. This was not an emergency as I had no pain. I received a call just before 8 am and they gave me an appointment time of 4:20 pm and then called later in the day t see if I could come in earlier. Doctor Williams replaced my cap with no pain and very quickly. I am extremely happy with the work that was done and the care I received or the doctor and his staff.

Most dentists just tell you what needs to be done and sometimes you wonder if it is true or if they just want to make money off of you, but I was able to see the issues. This office is fantastic.

Fantastic experience: At my age I thought I had seen it all, but I can truthfully say never have I been treated so carefully and importantly as I was on my visit to their office. The entire staff made me feel like I was their only patient and they were there to make one of my worst days actually pleasant. I don’t know about you but I hate going to the dentist. Fortunately for me Dr. Williams and his staff put me at ease immediately. What impressed me the most was the individual care and interest that Dr. Williams took with me the patient. When was the last time you sat with a doctor who actually talked with you and knew what was going on with you because he/she read the chart instead of asking on the fly “why are you here.” It was my first visit, and yet he was telling and asking things about me like he knew me and wanted to know more. That sort of care for a patient instills a lot of confidence for a frightened scaredy cat like me. Ihave just relocated to Louisa from a bigger city and knew there would be a trade off; but I certainly lucked out in the dental department. I’m think I’m gonna like it here.

Fantastic experience: I had an amazing experience at Louisa Comprehensive Dental. First of all I had an appointment scheduled for 3:30 p for a tooth extraction. I was offered to come in at 10:30a because of a cancellation. That was great for me. Then my dental assistant was so awesome. I am an experienced Surgical Tech and I am not a big fan of needles on myself. My dental assistant was so awesome! She was so comforting the whole time. Dr. William was great as well. He was an expert at numbing my mouth before beginning the tooth extraction. Everything went great. Once again my overall experience was amazing.

Fantastic experience: I called on a Monday morning about a painful upper 2nd molar and was given an appointment for the following day at 11am for consultation. Early Tuesday morning LCD called and said I could come in at 9:30am if possible. I arrived at 9:15 and was in the chair by 9:20. After meeting with Dr.Williams, we decided it was best to extract the tooth. By 9:49am I was sitting in my truck and heading home. Very satisfied and the entire staff at LCD are examples of what medical care in this country should be.

I am not a patient of Louisa Comprehensive Dentistry, but I called their office on Sunday night and asked if I could be seen on Monday. Early Monday morning I received a call from Kerri, the receptionist, who made an appointment for me that afternoon. When I arrived, all the people who work in the office were very kind and compassionate. I was seen immediately and the dentist, Dr. Williams, went above and beyond to help me. Dr. Williams is a very competent dentist and is also very good with people. I highly recommend Dr. Williams and his office. They are exceptional.

Went in with a broken tooth, was able to be seen and repaired in a timely fashion. They even called the next day to check on me. I liked how they took their time on addressing my dental needs.

Fantastic experience: Went to the dentist with apprehension as it had been 4 years since my last dental visit. Over 21 years of active duty; dental was pretty much forced on us! Knowing the importance of dental health, I bit the bullet and went in, expecting for doc to give me grief. Possibly the most pleasant visit ever; don't get me wrong, still loathe going to the dentist office however, the staff and doc go above and beyond to make the pt comfortable.
