Fantastic experience: I can’t say enough great things about YCPD. They provided our family with top notch customer service and made my daughter feel so comfortable she said she, “loved the dentist” after her tooth extraction. We’ve been to a few other places in York County and I can assure you, don’t bother looking anywhere else. Our dentist was Kaitlyn I believe and she is one of the most professional, courteous, and kind dentists we’ve met. Fantastic experience: Went here for my 6 year olds first filling. The staff here is incredibly nice and attentive. I was nervous about the numbing process and how it would affect his view of the dentist office. They were awesome!! Dr. Mike used his “freeze ray” we were in and out and my son LOVES the dinosaur theme (and getting to watch Disney+ while in the chair). Very tasteful, clearly passionate about making it a great experience for the kids. I would highly recommend this office to my closest friends and family.

Fantastic experience: My daughter recently had her checkup at the new office, and it was an incredible experience. The staff was friendly and welcoming, creating a comfortable and safe atmosphere for her. This is especially important for children who are apprehensive about dental visits. The office truly goes above and beyond to make patients feel at ease, which is a rare find in the dental field. We are fortunate to have such a great establishment in our area that we can bring our children to for their dental care.

Fantastic experience: Dr Mike and Dr Holly are amazing, caring dentists who put their patients needs first and always strive to help facilitate a stress free visit. The new office is inviting and fun and the entire staff are amazing at what they do!

Negative experience: I have federal Blue Cross Blue Shield. The dentist office flat said that they refused to get in network with federal Blue Cross Blue Shield. Of all the federal employees that are here in southern Maine and all the employees that have federal Blue Cross Blue Shield insurance. This dentist office does not care about The cost to their customers. If you have federal Blue Cross Blue Shield, don’t go here cause they’re gonna charge you an arm and a leg.

Fantastic experience: We're very grateful to York County Pediatric Dentistry for helping us when our son injured his front tooth today -- New Years Day -- when all dentist offices are closed for the next 4 days. We couldn't get through to our normal dentist or any dentist in our area, so in desperation, I called York County Pediatric Dentistry 40 miles away, and Ms. Kayla could not have been more friendly, patient, and helpful as the on-call clinician. She looked at a picture of our son's injured tooth, told us what to do while we waited for him to be seen after the holiday weekend, and even offered to reach out to our son's regular dentist in Falmouth to give him a heads up about what had happened. Thank you so much, Ms. Kayla!

Fantastic experience: I found YCPD by researching the best pediatric dentist in Southern Maine. The good reviews were all correct! I drive an hour to get there because I wanted the best for my daughter. All of the staff are so kind and welcoming. They are patient with young kids and try to make it fun. We love the Dr Seuss murals too!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Gary was phenomenal. My son was a bit teary-eyed during a procedure and Dr. Gary, without hesitation, comforted my son. From a mother’s prospective, he acted like a grandfather and cheered him up and that meant the world to me and my son. That is top-notch care and exactly where I want my children to be for all their dental needs! The entire staff is amazing…friendly, very knowledgeable and will answer every single question you or your child has!

Fantastic experience: I’m a non-binary person who is making the switch from pediatric to regular dentist pretty soon. I don’t make an effort to correct people when they use the wrong pronouns for me, simply because I’ve given up. I look like a girl, so people assume I am one. Dr.Mike used my correct pronouns immediately, meaning he either checked my file before coming to meet with me or simply remembered my preference. It nearly made me cry with happiness. The effort this team puts in to make their patients feel safe and cared for (even when they’re a little old for the Dr.Seuss mural) is positively overwhelming. I hope Dr.Mike can see this, because he absolutely made my day.

Fantastic experience: This place and their care and consideration for their patients is amazing. My son had oral surgery there and while it was an emotional time, they did amazing. My son was definitely taken care of very well and so were we, his parents.

Fantastic experience: Best dentist is southern Maine, all the staff are super friendly and the dentist are knowledgeable and thorough! My kids love coming here, they have an arcade Pac-Man machine and give the kids coins for a prize at the end!

Fantastic experience: Our 1 month old went in for lip and tongue tie surgery and they were amazing. Very informative with the procedure and also checked up the same day and the day after. The doctor was fabulous and all his helpers it was quick and now we have a way happier baby that's able to eat properly now. We can't thank them all enough and will recommend to others for sure.

Fantastic experience: We’ve always had great experiences here. We just had two appointments with Kaitlyn and I have to say she was absolutely wonderful! She took the time to really explain everything to my kids and answer all of their curious questions. She was patient and clear in explaining what she was doing each step of the way, she really put my nervous 7 year old at ease. It’s very clear she’s passionate about her career and is a natural with young kids which made for an overall great experience for our family!

Fantastic experience: I cannot say enough great things about Dr Mike and the rest of the team at York County Pediatric Dentistry, as well as everyone at Harborside Dental. My daughter and I are new patients and she experienced a dental emergency this past Friday. Harborside got us in quickly, assessed the situation and worked with YCPD to get her over there immediately. They all helped us avoid a truly serious situation.

Fantastic experience: WOW! What an AMAZING experience! First visit for my son and they were so attentive and responsive to him. I wish I could give 10 ⭐️ . They asked questions and educated me. They went at his own pace and engaged with him. When it got to the hard part of actually looking in his mouth Dr. Creisher was thorough , quick, and gentle. Negative experience: Left Many Years Ago due to scheduling conflicts, could never get regular pre scheduled appointments outside of school hours. Called asked for our records, gave up after 2 request. Years later they send a passive aggressive letter saying we aren’t patients anymore, signed for a dentist we never even saw in the first place. Jokes on them. They were never accommodating in the beginning.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely wonderful experience. My 6 year old is full of energy and doesn’t like getting teeth cleaned but YCPD gave him and I a whole new experience. The dental hygienist was so above and beyond amazing and I am so thankful!

Positive experience: The hygienist and dentist were amazing with my 5 year old! Very patient, kind, and everything someone would look for in a pediatric dentist! My concern is with their “front end manager”. She was instructed to schedule a consultation with me to go over a few items. Anyways instead of her scheduling that for an appropriate time she printed off papers with the information and numbers that were not even accurate during check out. I had my child ready to leave and we were in a very exposed area I felt to be having the conversation she was trying to force on me at the time. Even after expressing concern to her she kept trying to push on.. She finally agreed to schedule the appointment for a time that I would be able to give her my undivided attention. Hopefully come that appointment there is a private space to talk about my child’s medical needs.

Fantastic experience: I can’t say enough great things about YCPD, the office staff, dental assistants, and Dr. Gary are so warm and welcoming (I haven’t met Dr. Mike but from what I could see from afar, he appears to be just as wonderful!). My daughter is so comfortable at her visits and gets excited to go to the dentist now. I was nervous that she wasn’t going to let anyone in her mouth to clean her teeth, but she quickly warmed up to Ms. Hollys fun loving personality! We can’t wait to see her in 6 months for the next check up and cleaning!

Fantastic experience: I am long overdue for writing this review! They deserve it, a hundred times over! HANDS DOWN the BEST dentist I have been to across states. The whole entire team is a blessing, from the assistants, wonderful ladies, to Dr Mike himself! That man. I trust him and his team completely with my childrens care! I personally have trauma when it comes to dentists, and they have been more then accepting and accommodating! They helped me to explain it so that my fears did not get projected to my girls. They take the very best care of my family when we are here and they deserve all the praise for it! I could go on amd on about them here, but please know and trust that if you are coming here, you are in the very best of hands! My husband who also has a fear of dentists was calm enough to even be in the room woth our daughters for cleanings and work that needed to be tended to! They are super quick and precise. Live them. I hope they never stop what they are doing! All dentist offices should see them as Role models in the industry. Thank you Dr Mike and team!❤️

Fantastic experience: After seeing 3 previous dentists, going to York County Pediatric Dentistry was such a welcomed joy. Our 7yr old son has multiple disabilities and sensory issues and Dr Mike and his crew were AMAZING! When I told my husband about our experience I cried because of the love and care these people showed our son! There aren’t enough people like them in this world. When our son talked to people about their practice he yelled excitedly that he LOVED IT and that it was THE BEST!!! I am so glad that I asked around our small Maine town to find the best pediatric dentist because my two kids will go here from now until adulthood ❤️❤️

Fantastic experience: Our kiddo is incredibly anxious in new circumstances and has had some objectively bad things happen at dentists in the past. Yesterday, after first visit with Dr. Mike, she said, "Mama? I like it there." No bigger praise could be given :)
