Fantastic experience: I am absolutely amazed by this place! All of the dental hygienists and assistants are fabulous! Wendy & Brittany are exceptionally great! Dr. Hawks is wonderful and it is obvious that he enjoys what he does. He is very knowledgeable & thorough! Waiting for anything here is not even a big deal at all because the atmosphere and environment is welcoming! Do not be discouraged if you call to schedule an appointment and it is months out because the chances that you will be able to get in sooner are plausible! The office is very intentional about asking if you are available when there is an opening for an appointment. I appreciate everyone here!

Fantastic experience: I always have great service here and otherwise have no complaints. The only thing I would say is that getting a blank form every time to fill out all of my personal information is a bit annoying. Send me the form with information I’ve already filled out and ask for changesit’s a bit annoying to have to redo the whole questionnaire and medication list every visit.

Negative experience: In for my 6 month check up today. The staff is great but Dr. Cunningham rushed a quick check, not even a face to face for a minute. Interrupted the assistant before she finished cleaning. I won't be back.

Fantastic experience: I have been going to Dr Cunningham’s office since they first opened and it is the best I have been to here locally in rural Kentucky. I previously had a phenomenal dentist when I lived up north but when I had to move home here I needed to find a dentist and had a few bad experiences. I went to one dentist who was quite expensive and kept trying to upsell me on things I didn’t need. He always found a cavity when I went to his office and it was getting tedious having to plan on getting a cavity filled any time I had a cleaning/x-rays. The drill he used started to give me anxiety about going to the dentist and I’ve never had any problems with getting cavities filled in the past. It was the combination of the noise of it and the way it felt on my teeth that I couldn’t tolerate. I then tried another local dentist and the first time I went to him he found THREE supposed “cavities” I needed to have filled. By this time I straight up hated getting cavities filled and requested to have laughing gas for the first time in my life. I found it odd and quite suspicious actually that for the first time in my life, I was suddenly getting so many cavities in spite of brushing and flossing constantly. I was actually overbrushing bc I was so worried about getting more of these supposed cavities. I decided to look for a new dentist and did some research online. I saw that Dr Cunningham was new and had just opened an office and I figured at least the drill would be a newer drill and it probably wouldn’t be as loud as the other ones. I thought maybe the newer equipment or techniques would help. I have been going to Dr Cunninghams office for 10 years now and lo and behold- they have never once found a cavity in my teeth whereas I was having “cavities” filled every 6 months before. I mentioned this to the dental hygienist at Dr Cunninghams office and she gave me a look and basically told me my teeth were beautiful and I took great care of them and certainly didn’t have any cavities. I’ve since learned from other local people that they have been informed of cavities they needed to have filled and then when they went to a relative or family friend and got a second opinion it turned out they didn’t have any cavities at all. The second opinion dentist told them they might have a couple of weak spots but they were not cavities that needed to be filled. I will never go to a different dentist in this area and trust this office 100%. I am mad at myself for paying money previously to have potentially fake cavities filled that didn’t need to be filled. I think the word has gotten out that this is a great office with people who can be trusted because they have expanded to a larger building. I actually miss the old building because it was more my style but I’m glad to see they have grown.

Fantastic experience: The atmosphere of the office is spa like. Gentle hygeinist and gentle dentists for the exam. Thankful and grateful for a new provider who cares about the comfort and encouragement of their patients!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Cunningham and his staff is absolutely wonderful! They really explain your dental health and go over options that work for you. Never once did I feel pressure. I’ve spent a lot of time and money on my teeth through the years, but I was so frustrated with outcome and hated my smile. I finally decided to do something to fix that issue. I chose screw in dentures and it has been the best thing I ever did for myself! Well worth the procedure and cost. And now I just smile all the time. The compliments I receive makes me smile even more! Thanks again Dr. Cunningham and staff. I’m a client for life.

Negative experience: My wife has had the worst experience with not only her veneers but also with the EXTREMELY RUDE support staff at Cunningham Dental. After having $17,000 of work done, she has had 3 of her veneers pop off and has had to go back to have them fixed (about a 45 mile drive) after the second repair the girl that answers the phone was very very rude to my wife about them “having to fix her problem” and that “they wouldn’t be fixing anything else for free” Absolutely the worst place to have any artistic or cosmetic dental work done.

Negative experience: Would not recommend!! Find a dentist that actually cares about the patient.

Fantastic experience: The whole office has been great to our family. The dental hygienists are pros especially with children and put my three kids at ease (10, 7, 2). Dr. Cunningham is thorough and patiently answers our questions. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: I never take the time to make reviews but I feel like this one was necessary. Cunningham dental gave me a second opinion after a traumatic experience with another local dentist. They heard me, listened to my concerns, and were able to provide a solution to the problem the other dentist caused. They didn’t gaslight me or tell me it was in my head. I have so much dental anxiety, and this was one of the easiest procedures I’ve ever had despite the amount of work that needed to be done. They were comforting and sweet. I experienced no pain while there. Dr. Cunningham went above and beyond to fix my problem and I left his office smiling and so thankful. (Me smiling after a dentist visit is unheard of.) I couldn’t be more thankful for the entire team and look forward to coming back for future work.

Fantastic experience: Just had one of many procedures I have to do in order to repair my teeth. Never took the best care of them while growing up so now I’m paying the price. Had a hard time deciding where to go since I’ve had bad experiences in the past with some dental offices. Cunningham dental has been the best experience I’ve ever had. Even with how bad my teeth are and look they was still very polite and helpful. I had a crown put in, a root canal, and a wisdom tooth pulled. No pain, no discomfort. Look forward to my next visit and next big procedure. Definitely recommend going to Cunningham dental!

Not only is he honest but he will answer any questions you have and put your mind at ease. Mandi has been my hygienist since the start and I adore her. She makes me feel comfortable and checks during my cleaning to make sure I’m feeling ok with the process. The other staff is amazing and pleasant and it’s a positive environment. They offer convenience toothbrushes if you haven’t had a chance to brush before your visit. Also with each cleaning you get a goodie bag with dental hygiene items. They bill insurance correctly and are honest with pricing as well. I recommend this office to everybody and I’ve even moved an hour away and will still continue to drive back to Paducah because I feel secure in the services I get at Cunningham Dental. Five stars from a satisfied patient.
