Fantastic experience: I’m not a fan of dentists. Nothing personal—I’m sure they’re lovely people outside of work. I just generally prefer people who aren’t professionally interested in putting sharp objects in my mouth. That said, these guys were great. They did their best to get me in early, presumably so they could finish up and call it a day. Unfortunately, I couldn’t oblige and showed up at my regularly scheduled time like the inconsiderate monster I am. And yet, my hygienist remained friendly, professional, and—most impressively—didn’t even poke me with anything sharp in retaliation. All joking aside, they made an experience I normally dread genuinely pleasant. They were kind, accommodating, professional, and made me feel comfortable the entire time. If you have to go to the dentist—and apparently we do—I’d recommend this one.

Fantastic experience: Ill admit, I havent been to a Dentist in a LONG time. Emily is truly the sweetest Dental hygienist Ive ever come across. I get anxious very easily. She just has a way of calming me down and not putting me down. I truly appreciate that. The staff is beyond amazing. Fantastic experience: This was my first visit to this office everyone from the lady checking me in to the assistant and hygienist were so friendly and welcoming. I have quite a few issues going on and had tooth pain,when I seen the Dr he too was kind and very informative he came up with a plan and also got the tooth out that was hurting the same day! I'm very greatful for this as I really have giving up hope that my teeth are fixable and that I will be able to smile again soon with confidence.

Negative experience: The dentist isn't who he portrays himself to be. Such as I'll mannered, speaks down to certain patients of his, such as patients who have never had insurance before and had to choose between taking care of their children's teeth first, low income couldnt afford to get proper dental care until could get insurance, etc Do not recommend this dentist. He belittles some women and treats men with a silver spoon.

Fantastic experience: When I smile, I resemble a kicked in Halloween pumpkin. Meaning, I have had quite a few teeth pulled. The doctor who extracted my tooth today(Dr. Peterson?) was fast! I mean really fast. By far the fastest procedure I ever had. In and out, problem solved. Thank you very much to the whole Gooding staff. Definitely a positive experience.

Negative experience: I do appreciate getting in last minute. That it itself would have earned 5 stars. As a first time patient, they were able to get me in the next day. I was in excruciating pain.Two exposed nerves:The front staff was pro-fessional and helpful. The dentist however treated me as if I were an idiot and was very condescending. Instead of looking at my history, as a response to be saying, yeah Ive got some bad teeth,. he said to me “well years of not brushing everyday nor flossing or dentist visits will cause that. well, so does my connective tissue disorder, dry mouth, and medications I’m on regardless of my 2+times a year visits, adding sealants, and my decent care taking regiment! I was treated like this throughout my visit. I wanted to find a new local dentist since Ive been driving to Pocatello for the last several years to my current dentist. Well, they wont be gaining a new family which is unfortunate for them because, they would earn quite a bit with my and my families business. Zero stars from me!

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend this office. The doctor genuinely cares. He is very kind, knowledgeable, Personable. He listened to our concerns, he gave us options, he wasn't pushy or forceful. His main concern was not making a buck, but doing the best treatment for my 77 year old mom. The members of his team were very attentative, happy, knowledgeable. The atmosphere was Pleasant. We felt comfortable right away. We didn't have to wait long. Negative experience: I was a first time visitor to this dentist and the first thing he did was ask if I had insurance (several times) then looking at my teeth just started adding up each tooth $1,100 each saying it would cost me $21,000 and if i couldn't afford it there were payment plans i could apply for. Then accusing me of being a drug addict (several times) beingnthe reason my teeth were so bad. Mind you I was already aware my teeth were in bad shape, never have done drugs, and about to cry! My night grinding has been horrible in the last few years just felt very judged and kicked literally in the teeth will never go back. You should never do that to anybody looking for help no matter your (dentists) opinion. No bedside manner, no compassion, just how much money can I get out of this person turning to me for help. Horrible treatment from dentist maybe because I was one of the last appointments of the day still no excuse. The rest of the staff were professional and receptionist went out of her way to help. The dentist was very rude and unprofessional. And for that would not recommend.
Sorry that you felt this way! It is very difficult to deliver bad news to those who are already in a vulnerable position. I was trying to identify what had cause the damage to the teeth. No judgement, just trying to identify by asking questions. I am sorry that it came across as accusing. I hope you can find someone who can help you with your situation.
Fantastic experience: All the staff, from the front desk, to hygiene and the dentist were incredibly friendly and professional. And NO wait time! Also the staff in Wendell were great too as they fit me in for a quick scan with very short notice.

Fantastic experience: Super nice staff! I have horrible dental anxiety n seizures, But they made me feel really comfortable and safe. Usually I need knocked out or hella high anxiety medication but he is very gentle and fast. He also very nice and didnt push for options no way I can afford and helped me pick whats best for me n my future medical issues. I also will be doing my cleaning there hygienist is also very nice n gentle. Also love that they are very understanding I panic n healing wanna make sure all good and they make me feel comfortable if need a look for reassurance.

Negative experience: Very bad job in that place I had my teeth treated and three to four months passed and my teeth began to hurt and I went back to have them seen and they told me that I had to take them out, it was not possible to never go to that place again.

I was super nervous to go to a dentist I didn’t know but I’m so glad I chose Today’s Dental Care in Gooding. Due to the filling coming off, I had some sensitivity and they got me in right away to have it fixed. I then went back for an exam and a cleaning. They have always been super quick and gentle while working on my teeth. They listen to your concerns and give honest informative feedback. If your looking for a new dentist, this is the place to go!
