Fantastic experience: Dr Matthew Coons runs a very nice office. He xrayed, checked my teeth over and had his hygienist clean them. He’s a very personable man. When I told her that I was having knee replacement in 2 months she told me to ask my surgeon about having an antibiotic before the next cleaning. They are on top of my dental care.

Dental hygenist Katherine was good at what she does and put me at ease right away. Office clean modern and restroom too. Great waiting room cushion seating. Patking is perfect. Nice view size window to see garden area.

Fantastic experience: I could not be happier with Dr. Coons and the entire staff at Atascadero Family Dentist. I work all over the world always on the go, making it tough to see a dentist. I called here, was given an appointment next day, and he outlined an entire treatment program for me in less than an hour, with a follow up appointment the following week to begin! I have not been to a dentist in a long time but was treated with the utmost respect and care by the whole team with only my wellbeing in mind. If I could give 6 stars, I would. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Update to my review. In a matter of 2 weeks, Dr. Coons completely fixed all of my teeth and has me feeling confident again about my oral hygiene. I honestly can’t say more about him and everyone at the practice. As I head off to travel the world for work now, I no longer am nervous about having a dental emergency. THANK YOU to everyone here for helping me get this done quickly, you guys are the BEST!!

They’ve made it so easy to make regular appts as well as urgent appts… Only downfall is the don’t accept my dental insurance… but it hasn’t stopped me from going to them!
