However, the skills of each staff member are what makes going to the dentist a very positive experience. Cathy, the hygienist is magical. Dr. Torres is very congenial, but professional at the same time. He is an excellent dentist.

Fantastic experience: We couldn’t be happier with our experience. The entire team was so kind, gentle, and patient with my son, making what could have been a nerve-wracking appointment feel easy and enjoyable. Seeing him leave smiling and laughing meant the world to us. Fantastic experience: I was vacationing outside of Nevada and had a tooth issue. I knew who to call to make an emergency appointment once I arrived back in Nevada. Dr Torres, known as Matt to me, and his staff at Carson Valley Dental Arts got me in immediately once I landed back in Nevada. After a thorough examination, a conservative approach first, but with options of antibiotics don't work. I have not had dental in 4 plus years, but today I signed up for their in office dental program. I would trust my dental care to no other dental professional - Dr. Matt.

Fantastic experience: Carson Valley Dental Arts is top notch in all areas the staff is very friendly and helpful I will highly recommend this place to everyone Thank you for a wonderful smile

Fantastic experience: This was my first time visiting Dr. Torres’ office as my wife and mother both raved about their experiences there. From reception, to initial screening/checkup, to meeting Dr. Torres and having him review my teeth and explain everything in a very clear manner, I was very impressed with everyone involved. It was the first time in a dental office that the X-rays and photos of my teeth (in high definition) were shown on a large monitor in front of me while the doctor explained the intricacies of every aspect in detail. That alone was worth the time as it gave me a clear understanding of what needed to be done vs. things that could wait, or be revisited later. My experience couldn’t have been any better. I highly recommend this office and their courteous, kind staff for your next dental visit!

Fantastic experience: I was impressed with the high quality of services. The people are all top notch communicators and professionals who value their long standing with the company!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Torres is an outstanding dentist. He is conscientious, thorough, and never rushes my dental work, which makes a huge difference in the quality of care. Unfortunately, I experienced inferior workmanship from other local dentists that resulted in unnecessary dental damage, whereas Dr. Torres takes the time to carefully evaluate and address those issues. He explains treatment clearly and ensures everything is done properly. His dental office staff is friendly, welcoming, and professional. I feel very fortunate to have found such an excellent dentist and highly recommend Dr. Torres for anyone looking for high quality dental care.

Fantastic experience: I called for an appointment - as a new patient - and was seen the very next day! I am more than pleased with Dr. Torres and his staff!! I thought I had food lodged under my bridge causing my pain and headaches. After X-Rays and a thorough exam, Dr. Torres ordered a C T Scan which was performed right then and there in his office. He told me he suspected a sinus issue. Sure enough the C T Scan showed that my sinus was “clogged” and this was caused by an abscess in one of the teeth anchoring my bridge. He ordered an antibiotic and referred me to an endodontist for a root canal procedure. So my issue will soon be resolved!!! I am so happy that my son and family here in Minden referred me to this competent, knowledgeable, friendly dentist and staff! The well equipped office sure was an extra plus. Dr.Torres and the Carson Valley Dental Arts staff are the best !!

Fantastic experience: It was a great first impression and that is always good when dealing with a dentist as it’s not always the best of news when it comes to teeth

Fantastic experience: This is my very first visit to Carson Valley Dental Arts, and I am so amazed how everyone was so caring and helpful, I highly recommend this dental group, they will be my new dental family for life!!! Love everyone

Fantastic experience: I’ve been a patient at this dental office for nearly 20 years. Dr. Torres has created an incredibly positive experience for patients after many years of derogatory comments about past dental care and politics. I so appreciate this dentist’s positive and professional vibe.

Fantastic experience: I had a great experience with Dr. Torres and the entire staff. I would highly recommend this office. My case was a little difficult, at least for me. They were very patient with me. I got exactly what I wanted and needed. Thank you all so very much!

Fantastic experience: This dentist and the entire office treat you like family! They have my trust, and I am extremely happy to have found them.

Fantastic experience: I’m not a patient at Carson Valley Dental Arts, but I bring Father Oliver and Paulette here—and honestly, the staff is so wonderful, I almost wish I did need a filling. Dr. Torres and the team are some of the kindest, most caring people I’ve met. They take such great care of their patients that even going to the dentist is something we look forward to. Now that’s saying something!

Fantastic experience: Let me just say before seeing Dr Torres and his crew I was so afraid of the dentist. We’re talking tears in my eyes just thinking about going to an appointment. I decided to book a long over due consultation with Carson Valley Dental Arts after reading all the great reviews online. Michelle, at the front desk was so welcoming with my first appointment. I told her I’m so nervous I could cry (and I actually did!). She quickly assured me what I was feeling was normal and there were no judgments at this office. She gave me a complete tour, offered a ton of options that might help me feel more comfortable. Like headphones for music, a weighted blanket, water or coffee etc. Dr Torres and his staff are truly amazing at what they do! They take the time to educate you, give you options and I never once felt judged. Now my teeth are better than ever, I’m not afraid to smile anymore! Oddly enough I actually look forward to my appointments now!! Dr Torres and his crew gave me my confidence back and I can’t thank them enough!

Fantastic experience: Dr Torres is so caring. And his staff is, too. They are all very friendly. They are genuine. I am glad I switched to Dr Torres.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Torres and his staff are awesome. They don't push you into anything you aren't ready to do yet and let you decide when and what treatment is best for your situation. If you don't have insurance, their membership plan is the way to go. It doesn't get you everything you'll need, but it saves you a ton. It's a business after all and some things just cost what they cost, no matter where you go. I've been on the hunt for a good dentist for a long time and I'm glad I found this office. Has worked with me more than other offices I've tried in the area. Dr. Torres service is top notch and his staff is always personable and welcoming. Fantastic experience: A big thank you to a most wonderful staff at Carson Valley Dental Arts. I was in a quandary leaving town in two days with an immediate dental need. My regular dentist was on vacation. Dr Torre’s front office staff member Michelle jumped into immediate action to see that I got the help I needed. She painstakingly looked at all possible availability and seen to it that I was taken care of. Michelle showed tremendous compassion, expertise and professionalism. And, what can I say about that infectious smile? Michell, you belong right out front in that office. Dr Torres did a fantastic job explaining everything while at the same time examining me for potential dental follow up. He even took a photo of my mouth to send to my regular dentist for his information. He was terrific and I had a very good dental experience. And, what can I say about Caroline, Dr Torres’s very capable assistant? She was personable, professional and compassionate at the same time. Made sure I was comfortable at all times and knew her job well. Thank you all for a most favorable experience with your dental practice. If I was not already a patient at another dental practice, I would surely be knocking on your door..Thank you again for all you did for me. All my best, James L Smith…

The people that work here are very polite, personable and willing to go that extra mile to make your visit a good one. Thank you Dr. Torres and your staff for helping me thru my most recent visit. I was apprehensive at first, but you and your team made it easy.

Negative experience: Nice people but when a mistake was made they did not want to take responsibility and do the right thing. Careful If it has been 10 years that’s irrelevant, correct I chose not to reschedule for a service I prepaid for. Should tell you how I feel as a guest in your house being taken advantage of. I came back in hopes you folks would help fix what was damaged and you chose not to. Is there a time limit and when someone can post a review? Feel free to reach out

Fantastic experience: I’m very happy with a Carson Valley dental arts. The staff are gracious and funny… Dr. Torres is an excellent dentist.
