Fantastic experience: Smudde Family Dentistry truly is about Family. They FEEL like Family. From the Front Desk Staff, to my hygienist Theresa, to Dr. Meredith Gray, I'm made to feel comfortable and at ease. And I love my smile when I leave!

Fantastic experience: Dr Gray and her entire staff are always very personable and friendly. Before becoming a patient of Dr Gray I cringed at the thought of going to the dentist. Dr Gray and her team always explain the what and why's. And are always gentle yet thorough. She is definitely an A+ in my book and I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Fantastic experience: The dentist Dr. Gray called me herself on the phone. She was extremely professional an polite. She was very apologetic with an issue with over a mouth guard. That I was being charged for that, I could not or would not be able to use. It was not going to work in my mouth for me & my circumstances. I wanted a refund, she worked the situation out with me & she did refund my money. I had alot of other circumstances that went with this issue, health wise. It wasn't just because I did not like it. There was more to it, and she was very understanding about that. So don't order something. And then just think, just because you don't like it, you can get a refund, it doesn't work like that. There has to be more circumstances & in my case, there was. An she was very apologetic. She apologized over the phone if any staff was rude to me. She was extremely nice, very professional and refunded my money and said she would take care of the issue. I very much appreciated that, as I live on disability, a very fixed income & my husband does out of work, he had just had a shoulder replacement. So we are struggling. She called me personally herself & We had a very professional talk. The way it should be. The way it used to be back in the day. People don't treat each other like that, anymore but she did. I've Never Had a dentist, reach out and be so professional, Understanding and caring. So if you need a dentist to go to I absolutely would recommend Dr. Gray, she's compassionate, kind caring & extremely understanding, just ask a lot of questions. If you don't understand & if the person that you're talking to can't answer your question, just get someone who can. If That Doesn't work ask to speak to her directly. She will take the time to talk to you & let the dentist know all of your circumstances/concerns and she will work with you on whatever you have going on with your teeth. I would absolutely recommend them. I'm so happy that she called me. That was such a kind gesture to make this issue right. Otherwise, I was going to pay hundreds of dollars for a device that I was not going to be able to use. May God bless all your future business & clients you deal with Dr. Gray. Thank you, for acting in such a professional manner & taking the time out to handle this problem. Thats the way you do business! Care about your clients and she does! Definitely 5 stars!

Positive experience: They get the job done with fill ins and stuff but when I'm waiting for someone to check up on me it takes way to long. I've been in here for basically a whole hour and all they have given me is just numbing shots. Not the worst but definitely can do better

Fantastic experience: Smudde Family Dentistry has been my choice since the mid 1990's. They have been friendly and professional and understanding at every visit. I recommend them at any time the conversation turns to dentistry with friends or total strangers. I never have had an issue with any of the staff.

Negative experience: The dentist herself called my 8 year old a baby or actually a direct quote “oh wow you are a baby” when she saw how upset she was..because they simply would not let me go back with her, being her first time getting work there she was scared and that’s what she wanted. I was laughed at “we don’t do that here” again i understand space is limited back where they work but i made it known i was just wanting to be there for her to see me, not going to be in the way. I had voiced my concern on wanting to go back with her to the dental assistant who then told me she’d be “right back” when 10 minutes later the dentist comes to get her completely disregarding my request until i brought it up. Her excuse for calling an 8 year old a baby was “I was meaning just how upset she is” whatever. She allowed me to go back until my daughter was comfortable with the laughing gas, 5 minutes of “being in the way” my daughter looks at me and says “I’m fine now mom you can go.” Simple as that. If you lack basic human skills such as compassion you should not be practicing medicine. Should not be called a “family “ dentist at all.

Fantastic experience: Just had my first visit at Smudde Dentistry. Dr. Gray and staff spent an incredible amount of time with me, thoroughly assessing my dental health, reviewing my X-rays, and then sharing with me the good, bad, and the ugly in terms I understood. I never felt judged or rushed. All options were explained in detail and I was able to make informed decisions about how my treatment would go. I’m so grateful to have found a dental team so professional, so close to home, and one that truly puts their patients first. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for exceptional dental care!

Fantastic experience: Today was Cooper's 1st Dentist appointment! He is 21 months old. They let him sit in the chair and took the appointment at Cooper's pace and what Cooper would allow. Staff was all very patient, kind, and understanding with the newness this visit had in store for young Cooper. I look forward to him getting familiar with the process of dental visits with this excellent staff! Thank you all so much for making sure he wasn't traumatized by the dentist visits as so many are terrified of going to the dentist! All my kids go here and my oldest is 16 and none of my kids dread going for cleanings! Thank you all so much for allowing my kids to ha e great experiences and enjoy going to the dentist!

Negative experience: My appointment was a complete waste of time. They didn’t do any actual dentistry. They didn’t even do x-rays and they didn’t listen to anything I said. Did not feel valued or listened to. Felt used for an insurance grab of my precious dentistry hours.

Negative experience: I came because of the wonderful reviews, but I did not experience this. I had to fill out a very lengthy medical questionnaire, and I disclosed that I have Potts. I assume nobody ever reads those questionnaires so I told them in person 4 times…”I have Potts I need you to bring the seat up slowly in increments”. They “forgot” everytime…when a person with Potts gets up that fast your heart rate spikes so fast It’s extraordinarily unpleasant and dangerous. No apology from staff. Also, no actual dental care… I came in because I needed a crown… they told me I needed a crown… I knew that… that’s why I was there. I thought during my appt I would be prepped for one… instead they told me to pay $1700 and wait three months for an appointment… When I asked about the warranty of the crown they told me there wasn’t one.

Negative experience: I wouldn’t recommend this office at all. The hygienist rushed through my cleaning like it was a speed run and it didn’t feel thorough. The dentist herself was awkward and completely unprofessional. When my wife went in for a crown, she demeaned her, treated her like a kid, and even swatted her hand away when my wife tried adjusting her lip. Unacceptable. Stay away from this place.

Fantastic experience: This was the Best and greatest dentist I have ever had. She never gave me one bit of pain and walked me right through everything. I did not even feel the poke of the needle I was given for the the pain of tooth removal and didn't even feel the tooth come out. I would recommend her to any one and every one. I traveled 1 hour and 15 minutes to see her and I will do it again for all my dental work. Greatest dentist i have ever had at 54 years old I am. You was great Doc, and played the best music ever created. Once again, perfect .

Negative experience: I will not be going back. Every time I go for a Cleaning on the 7 bottom teeth I have left they try to sell me new top plate and a partial. I am on a fixed income. I just want what my insurance pays for. Then yesterday they tryed to sell me exrays that my insurance won't pay for. When I said no the blond Hygienest got crappy with me. Cancle all my appointments

Dr. Gray is witty, enjoyable to talk to, loves a good song, and takes her practice very seriously. Every staff member feels like old family friends and they love catching up on all the life that’s happened since your last visit. If you’re looking for somewhere you’ll be well taken care of I couldn’t recommend them or Smudde more.

Veterans in the VA system get the best care Dr. Gray and her team provide every single person walking through that door. So impressed. I initially held off writing a review, I wanted to have a year of being a patient and across multiple procedures, not once have I been disappointed.
