Fantastic experience: The first time I visited Dr. Pratt's to discuss my dental needs, his reception staff were very helpful and pleasant. Because of them , I decided to continue and make an appointment with Dr. Pratt. I was surprised by the modern equipment that his staff used. Dr. Pratt was excellent himself. Giving me advice as though I might be his mother. He gave his advice as to my best interest medically and financially. I was really impressed to his honesty and professionalism. As much as a person can look forward to visits to dentist, I look forward to future visits.

I had major dental surgery on the top of my mouth, and several teeth pulled on the bottom of my mouth. Dr. Pratt made sure that my pain was controlled. After 20 years of pain, when I ate, I am finally able to eat without pain. Again I wanþ to thank, Dr. Pratt and his wonderful staff for the excellent care that I received. My new dentures fit perfect, and most of all I am able to eat without pain. I will be going back to Dr. Pratt for any dental work that I need.

Negative experience: After receiving a teeth cleaning last week, Dr. Pratt came in to check my teeth and “accidentally”removed one of my crowns. In order to refit the crown he ground it down and now it is cutting my mouth and no longer porcelain but black. When I inquired what they wanted to do they replied that it was old anyhow and needed to be replaced. However, after reviewing the x rays nothing was mentioned about it needing to be replaced before it was “accidentally removed.” It is unfortunate that the practice would not repair their mistake. I highly recommend another dentist. His mistake will cost me around $1500 and no one even bothered to apologize.

I was concerned about "In-Network & Out-of-Network terminology & pricing to help me choose a Dentist". Their Denistry is not on any contract, but they will accept your insurance. I tell ya after speaking with Nora and the fact that I had not been to the dentist in years this was by far the best place for me! After going back and forth with BCBS of Texas and calling her often to compare notes, it made me feel like I've known her forever by the time I walked in the door!! 'How Family Feels'. They don't have to send you out anywhere for anything! They are fully equipped to handle any dental situation, like labwork & and surgeries, cosmetics, etc. To me, that was everything! I have one dentist doing it all!! Let's goooo, Dr. Steven H Pratt of Atlanta Texas! You rock! He was patient, told me step by step everything he was going to do, and then gave me a solid plan of action!! Even the assistant was sweet, patient, and informative. Sometimes, you have to go outside the BOX(in-network) to get what you need and feel like you're going to be taken care of. Fantastic experience: Dr. Steven Pratt is the epitome of professionalism. Although he always takes the time to visit with you personally as a patient, he always exudes professionalism. He is extensively knowledgeable in dentistry and is in my opinion the most capable dentist in the area. In addition, as I discovered recently, he is apparently, at a minimum, the premier implant expert in the area. I verified this with the two implants that he just completed for me in February, 2017. It is a long process, but Dr. Pratt takes every precaution and follows a plan throughout the process that telegraphs to you as you proceed that he cares and strives to do everything right. I could not be happier with the implants. They feel just like natural teeth, and I would recommend them to anyone needing tooth replacement, and would strongly recommend Dr.Pratt to perform the implant procedure. His staff exhibits the same professionalism as he, beginning with his wife, Nora, greeting you as you walk into the office and discussing any questions you may have about the visit, further appointments, procedures, etc., and just being friendly. She is very personable and extremely knowledgeable in her own right, and always the same every time you see her. All of Dr.Pratt's staff are knowledgeable in their jobs and follow this same pattern of personable, friendly service.
