Positive experience: The first dental assistant had some trouble at the beginning placing something over my tooth so they could begin the build up process for my crown. I had to keep my mouth open for what seemed like long periods of time with no explanation of what was going on. A second dental assistant was called in, still with no explanation of what was going on. The second assistant was able to complete the process, and the procedure was finally completed. However, the doctor left without a word to me about the procedure. I had to ask the assistant what the problem had been. She explained that my mouth was small which made it difficult to maneuver around the tooth. I understood completely as I know my mouth is small. If the problem had been explained to me from the start, I would have felt much better about the whole ordeal. I also felt like the doctor should have stayed and talked to me afterwards instead of leaving it up to his assistant to answer my questions. Up until this incident, I’ve always had good experiences with this dentist. I’m hoping this is simply one unfortunate experience and it doesn’t happen again.

We are only here for about a year and have lived in multiple other states And I’ve been to many dentists and Dr. Nelson and his whole staff go above and beyond and make the whole experience wonderful. I needed a root canal and it was honestly so relaxing and so comfortable Which I never thought I would say about a root canal or any dentist work as I hate going to the dentist usually. They should definitely be proud of the office atmosphere that they have built.

Dr. Garret Nelson deserves high praise—caring, compassionate, thorough and explained everything clearly. Such a great experience—highly recommend!

Negative experience: Longtime client! Charged $82 for xray to see if root was okay after filling fell out. There was no sensitivity or pain, so IMO, that was an unnecessary expense, and the retired dentist I used before would not have done this. THEN told next NO appointment available for almost 4 months to get tooth filling replaced! That's unacceptable! Told there are usually cancelations so would likely get in sooner. If I don't get in within a week I will get a new dentist. This is NOT the way you treat longtime clients!
