Fantastic experience: my experience is always wonderful at Swansea dental they make you feel so comfortable and we laugh and joke. My hygienist is the best I could say her name maybe I will. Hi Nancy.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Suthar did an awesome job for me. I needed teeth removed and a new top Denture. The entire experience was pain free and quick. I had virtually no problems. If you need dental work, I would highly recommend the staff at Swansea Dental. Extremely caring, compassionate and knowledgeable.

Fantastic experience: I've been with Swansea Dental Care for years now. I've never enjoyed going to the dentist before them. They are all so friendly, caring, and personable. Be prepared to laugh while they're cleaning your teeth. Lol! They are by far the best experiences I have ever had with a dentist, and I have no intention of ever going anywhere else again.

Fantastic experience: Going in I was so nervous getting my tooth extracted. After about 20 minutes they were putting my seat up. I said, are you done? I couldn’t believe it was done! Did not hurt at all!! Great dentist!!

Fantastic experience: Swansea Dental is by far the BEST dental office we have ever used! Dr. Suthar keeps meticulous notes (OR has an incredible memory) on the personal details about his patients. Coming in and being asked about how school is going (I am a teacher) makes my day! I have had a good bit of dental work done over the last 2 years, AND I have an extremely low pain threshold (I'm a big baby). I have experienced little to no pain during or after my appointments. The office staff has been incredibly helpful, INCLUDING advising me about better dental coverage through state insurance even my HR department did not tell me about! AND I was the recipient of a Teacher Appreciation gift bag! How sweet is it that Swansea Dental celebrates its patients that way!!! Thank you Swansea Dental!!!!!

Negative experience: The first question out of the guy's mouth was how did you find out about me? He only cared about his popularity. Went there for a broken crown, that was already showing signs of infection. Had to wait a week, with pain and no antibiotics from him. Then, he left a big chunk of tooth in my gum, which didn't come out until the gum had already started healing around it, and now there is a big pocket there, where food gets trapped. Why do all dentists suck so bad these days?

Fantastic experience: I had some major dental problems That needed to be addressed and fixed. I went to Swansea Dental care back in May. All I can say, is I am so happy I went. The staff is great. Dr Suthar is an amazing Dentist. I knew there was going to be some pain , and he did everything to keep it minimal. I would recommend Swansea Dental to any one who needs a dentist for major work, or for long term dental care.

Fantastic experience: This dental care is the best I've had ever. I had 7 extractions done.. with 0 pain for injecting meds into the gums.. and will be returning after the new year to finish extractions for dentures. 20/10 would recommend to anyone.

Fantastic experience: I visited Swansea Dental Care for pain in my canine tooth that I suspected was an abscess. I don’t have dental insurance, but from the first phone call, the staff made me feel at ease. The receptionist was incredibly professional, polite, and informative — exactly who you’d want greeting patients. The dentist was outstanding — confident, respectful, and highly experienced. He explained everything clearly and addressed my situation without being judgmental. His approach was compassionate, transparent, amd professional. The procedure itself was smooth and went far better than i expected. He numbed the area perfectly on the first try — no pain, no hesitation. The teamwork between him and his staff was seamless If you’re in Swansea, Gaston, or Lexington County and need a dentist — especially if you’re anxious about dental work. Swansea Dental Care is the place to go. This office is a gem, and I won’t be going anywhere else.

Fantastic experience: I can’t say enough good things about Swansea Dental Care! Dr. Suthar and his assistant, Nicole, are absolutely phenomenal. I used to be the type of patient who needed sleep sedation just to get through a dental visit—but today was the first time I didn’t. That’s how gentle, caring, and reassuring Dr. Suthar is. He took the time to explain everything, was extremely knowledgeable, and made sure I was comfortable every step of the way. His work is not only professional but also aesthetically beautiful—I’m thrilled with the results. If you’re someone with dental anxiety, or just looking for excellent care, I highly recommend this office. You’ll be in the best hands.

Negative experience: Warning! They left me in severe pain and had no care for me as a patient. I requested multiple times through phone and email for clarity trying to work with my new insurance in preparation for a root canal. Please note I am in pain through out this entire 2 week process. Trying to be proactive I spoke with the office about my concerns dealing with what the out of pocket cost would be. Was told multiple time by the clinical director that she would call me back with information and never received a call. After repeated attempts and a few days to allow them time to gather the information and not receiving an update I asked if an email would be easier for her to respond to. Gave email information and was told she would email me. After a few days and no email I reached out again through email. No response. Spoke again on the phone about my issues and was told she would get back to me. I figured it was no big deal and that they had things under control. The day of my appointment and after me once again calling and leaving a voice mail that morning, I finally received an email at 8:30am that said they could not find the information on pricing. No problem I needed the procedure or my tooth removed. Either way would work. Unfortunately I arrived at 11:40 not 11:30. And after speaking with them about the insurance information I needed we determined that insurance would not cover the root canal and I would need to pay out of pocket to have the tooth removed. Disappointing and frustrating but ultimately no problem. I would finally be able to sleep through the night. They brought me back to the patient room and I waited. After being greeted by the assistant was told the doctor would be with me soon. At 12:40 they came to me and told me that they would not have time to remove the tooth. Due to me being 10 minutes late and because the questions we had about the cost they would not be able to help me. I expressed my concerned and that I need my tooth out. That I could not sleep due to the pain. That I had been trying to be proactive and take care of any questions days in advance. That they did not respond to me through phone call or email which forced me to find out the answer to these questions when I arrived in person. I was told that unfortunately they would not be able to help me and that because I was so dissatisfied they would not be able to reschedule me until things cooled off. That felt like that we’re punishing me for being disappointed in them. I felt like they lacked empathy for my situation and once they dropped the ball provided no assistance to pick it back up again. I was a loyal patient at this office. I chose to stay at this office after I had moved to be at this appointment because I liked the doctor. I drove over an hour to be there because I trusted them to take care of me and I felt like I had a good relationship with them. Dr. Suthar, I’m sure your busy but I do wish to reach out to you and let you know that should you wish to have a better understanding of the breakdown in my experience feel free to contact me. I’m not sure how I could have handled things differently to prevent this and it seems like the failure of your office staff fell on me. I regret to inform you that I will no longer be a patient under you. Thankyou for the many times served as my dentist.

Fantastic experience: I have finally found an office that cares more about my healthcare than my health insurance. Stephanie did awesome job on my cleaning!! I highly recommend this office and can’t wait to follow through with the treatment plan.

Negative experience: The staff is great, friendly and professional, but the dentist is all about making money off patients. He constantly finds ways to maximize insurance charges and push unnecessary treatments. It feels more like a business than a place that genuinely cares about your dental health. If I could give it a zero star rating, I would.

Fantastic experience: It's never easy goin to the dentist for me but I've been going to Dr. Suthar for a while now he and his staff make sure to make EVERYTHING as comfortable as possible. Just had a tooth pulled and 4 cavitys fixed best dentist I've ever been too. He and his staff are well over 5 star quality highly recommended!

Fantastic experience: The staff at Swansea Dental Care are AWESOME!! They have all made me feel unbelievably comfortable because I have extremely high anxiety when in the dentist chair!! The doctor is so nice when I was upset with myself for not keeping calm, he told me I was being too hard on myself, if you can believe that!! His assistant was WONDERFUL and the hygienist was very careful, slow and explained what she was doing the whole time. If I was uncomfortable, she stopped! And then there’s Nicole…the front office manager! She’s so personable and always smiling. She made everything so easy! I never imagined getting state of the art dental care in a modern environment and GREAT staff in a small town like Swansea! I love my town and now that I can stay here for my dental needs without going towards Columbia is even better!! Bless them all! You have to take your family here if you haven’t tried them!

The receptionist is truly a sweetheart, dental hygienist so sweet and so good with us all, and the Dentist so kind and makes sure any questions or concerns you might have are answered! Fantastic experience: I had a crown come off while caring for my Mother who is sick. I live 4.5 hours away in another state. I called Swansea Dental Care and explained my predicament. They worked me in in less than 24 business hours. Faye, Nicole and Dr. Suthar were all so empathetic and caring. They thoroughly checked the tooth and surrounding area using x-rays and physical inspection before reattaching my crown. If I lived here, I would certainly choose Swansea Dental Care for all my dental needs.

Faye was amazing with my son, helping keep him occupied while Nancy was quick and efficient and got my teeth cleaned and my x-rays taken as we could around my son's attention span. Fantastic experience: My 1st appointment was in mid December. When entering I was treated by the staff like family. Dr. Suthar was awesome and agreed with my overseas dentist for the work that needed to be done. Fast forward...had the work done december 27th and I couldn't have asked for a more caring staff and dr. I recommend Dr. Suthar and his dental office percent!!!! and he will be my dentist together with my overseas dentist, dr Nema to keep my dental work in tiptop health.

Fantastic experience: My First Appointment There Was On January 4, 2022. When I Walked Into The Office I Felt Like I Was At Home. The Warm Felt Welcoming And Friendly And Sweet Employees There Was The Reason I Felt Like I Was At Home. Very Friendly And Sweetest People I Ever Met. They Answer All Of My Questions And Was Very Explainable And Very Helpful. The Lady Whom Clean My Took My X Ray And Clean My Teeth Was Awesome And So Much Of A Sweetheart That I Fell In Love With Her On My First Day The Lady At The Front Desk Was So Friendly And Even A Sweetheart. The Doctor Was Awesome And A Very Nice Guy. Kudos To All Of The Employees There. I Will Definitely Be Loving This Dentist Office.
