Fantastic experience: I highly recommend this dentistry and Dr. Gilbert. I was traumatized at a previous experience with a different dentistry that left me terrified of the dentist. When we discovered Dr. Gilbert, it was Heaven sent. We travel over 3 hours one way to see Dr. Gilbert and would drive more if we had to. Dr. Gilbert has helped me get over that fear and has helped me calm my anxiety. I am confident every time I walk into the office, and that’s a lot compared to when I started going there. His staff is very welcoming and friendly. Hygienist Kristi has been nothing short of amazing as well. She walked me through every step and explained to me what she was going to do. They are all very patient with me and make me feel like I am more than my fear. If your child has anxiety or fear of dentists like I do, I cannot recommend Dr. Gilbert enough.

Fantastic experience: We travel three hours each way so our children can be cared for by Dr. Gilbert, and it is absolutely worth it. We first met him when he was filling in at our children’s previous dental practice, and we immediately knew he was the perfect fit- especially for our extremely anxious child with sensory processing disorder who had been traumatized by a prior dental experience. Dr. Gilbert is truly the most kind, compassionate, and gentle pediatric dentist you will find. He takes the time to build trust, move at a child’s pace, and create a safe, calming environment. His patience and understanding have made an incredible difference for our family. Dr. Gilbert and his hygienists are top notch. We are beyond grateful to have found such exceptional care.

She explains everything in a way they understand and genuinely cares about their experience, not just the cleaning. Five star service every time.

Fantastic experience: I don't normally do reviews however this office is fantastic. Everyone was Great!!!! Great service all the way around Dr . Gilbert is awesome and took great care of my daughter. If I could give 10 stars I would. I received same day service .The office was clean and up to date equipment . As a parent, you want to make sure your kids are in good hands when you have an emergency and this is the place. Thank you again.

Fantastic experience: We've always had a great experience at Pediatric Dentistry of Owensboro. Mostly because of our favorite hygienist, Kristi! She's always so patient and sweet with all my kiddos (especially my son with dental anxiety), while also being thorough and quick. I'm always surprised how fast we get in and out :) Her calm and empathetic nature really helps my anxious kiddo have the best experience possible for him. Basically, Kristi is awesome and we love getting her when we go! We also are big fans of Dr. Gilbert! He is always very personable and does a great job explaining things in a way my kids can understand. They make our dentist visits as smooth and pleasant ad possible!

Fantastic experience: I have not 1 single negative thing to say about the AMAZING staff at The Pediatric dentistry of Owensboro! Dr Gilbert and Jackie have gone above and beyond to help my son with his fears of going to the dentist especially since he unfortunately had a very traumatic experience at a different pediatric dentist office. The kindness caring and compassion that they have showed to my son have been a blessing, my son now has gotten over his fear of going to the Dentist he even got a pretty awesome T-shirt that he loves to wear . I highly recommend giving this office a try! I travel over an hour each time we visit, and I’d do it again and again. I have no problem traveling to them, They treat you like family ❤️

Summer (Dental Hygienist) was awesome with my son, being gentle and patient with this being his first visit. Dr. Gilbert was also great with my son. Couldn’t have asked for a better first visit!

Fantastic experience: We had to bring in our son on a whim when he pre maturely popped his front tooth out in a slide accident! They were very welcoming there, especially summer! She helped our son stay calm and made things that normally seem scary to a child, fun and almost like a game. Thats important to parents.

Kristi was so amazing with her and I can’t sing her praises enough! She was patient, kind and hilarious totally putting me at ease! Dr. Gilbert was great with her as well! Also shoutout to the young lady that checked me out and assured me I was not a terrible mother for my daughter having cavities. She also went above and beyond to make sure my insurance was going to cover as much as possible! So happy to have found a dentist office we love for my daughter! P.S this is not Jonathan it’s his wife…we all know his review would have been “it was great” and this place deserves more than that!

Fantastic experience: This place is awesome! They had a great waiting room that entertained my almost 3 year old but also games for the older kids too. My son is VERY much adverse to ANYTHING “doctor” right now. I took him to his first ever dentist appointment today expecting a huge scene and myself apologizing a lot. But Summer saw him start to spiral into a fit and she got down with him and talked him through it, she was so kind and patient. She let him hold the mirror and explained she just wants to look. She calmed him down to where he was happy to have her look. She made us feel welcomed and that she had all day if that’s what it took to have my son be comfortable and trusting of her and the staff. The dentist himself was amazing too! Took time to explain that he just wanted to peek at the teeth, and also calmed my son down since a new person coming in warranted another melt down. I left our first ever dentist appointment very proud, happy, and honestly looking forward to the next check up in 6 months because they made the whole process so much better and much more smooth than I ever imagined it could be.

Fantastic experience: We moved to Owensboro last year and luckily we found Dr. Crews at Pediatric Dentistry of Owensboro for our 10 yo son. Dr. Crews and his staff are so warm and kind. My son was fortunate to get to have Mrs. Kristi clean his teeth this afternoon. She was so gentle and made a teeth cleaning relaxing (for both of us) ! It is so reassuring to have such courteous professionals locally to handle my son's dental needs. The office is beautiful with an outdoor theme with little cubbies for the kids to sit in. They also have video games to keep the little ones busy! Very impressed overall and truly cannot say enough kind words. They offered a cash discount that I am so grateful for!!!!

Fantastic experience: Had to switch over because of insurance. Was worried about switch because son has had some dental issues and anxiety with dentist. The staff made the kids feel comfortable and explained everything they were doing along the way! Very impressed!

Fantastic experience: Wonder hygienists and dentist. The hygienists were all so patient and kind to all my kids, from 1 to 8 years old. They went above and beyond to check if insurance covered certain procedures before they were performed. Sometimes going to the dentist can be daunting for children, but mine have all enjoyed their experiences here with Dr. Jay Crews!

Negative experience: Apparently I am not the only parent who has had problems with this place. Knowing my son is autistic and would need both mom and dad to keep him calm. Dr. Cruise refused to let us both be by his side. Absolutely unprofessional and rude.

Positive experience: Dentists are great and personable. After you get past the front desk the staff are much kinder and have a sense of happiness and willingness to give the best customer service. The tech are very skilled. Not a fan of the (One parent per child) rule though.
