Positive experience: Everyone was pleasant and got in quickly. Went in to get a bad tooth pulled and the dentist didn't feel comfortable doing it so he wanted to send me to Rockcliff Oral surgery. Made the appointment thinking they'd probably be able to pull my bad tooth but no it's for another consult. All I need is my tooth pulled that's affecting my right ear that's ringing and can't barely here out of it. So I found another Dentist that is willing to pull my tooth on 7/13/26 with me still being a new patient.

Fantastic experience: An issue came up when my wife's cap came out and would need to be, hopefully, glued back. Cataloochee Denatl made it extremely easy to get a fairly quick appointment and was able to glue the cap back. Positive experience: I am not complaining but I would like to make you aware of an issue that I consider high on the list of needing fixing. Your location is subpar. The halls inside are awkward and difficult to navigate (including thresholds) with a wheelchair. Getting inside isn't easy, either. There's only 1 wheelchair ramp, halfway down the building. One visit, it was blocked by a car so I tried to get up the curb. That's over-height and I'm a klutz so yes I tripped. Falling between the walkway and the bumper of the car parked there, I couldn't get up and it required calling 911, much to my humiliation. Even when the ramp is free, the sidewalk is very skinny making it nerve wracking to deal with, then when you get to your door, the only section of your overhang that's big enough for a wheelchair is blocked by flower planters. My husband runs up, moves it, runs back, then pushes me in. The doors also have no automatic opener. The outer one is very difficult to use due to the wide door and small sidewalk and planters blocking things. In the waiting room, there's no place to park a wheelchair that isn't in the way of someone. In text, I know I sound bitchy but I don't mean to be. I just want to make you aware

Fantastic experience: Great service, very friendly staff, state of the art equipment. It takes us a while to arrive at our dental appointments but the service is worth the distance we travel. Dr. Wyatt does a wonderful job. He worked on a filling behind my front teeth and I didn't feel the novacane needle at all.

Fantastic experience: There's a closer office in Sylva but I drive to Waynesville to see Dr. Wyatt. I have followed him around to 3 offices.His staff is also very nice and this is unfortunately my second crown and the assistant Nicole did a great job too. Thanks! I went back for my 6 month check up, the staff there is great and so is Dr Wyatt! Never a problem. My new hygienist was great too. Can't remember her name.

Fantastic experience: The staff at Cataloochee Dental went over & above to work me in for an emergency visit for a crown issue. They were professional & compassionate about my circumstances & have scheduled a replacement appointment for less than two weeks. This was before I had even had a chance to have my new patient appointment.

Fantastic experience: Other than from my father (DDS), Cataloochee Dental Group has provided the best dental care I've ever received. Every hygienist has been exceptional, as have been all the doctors and staff. I'm getting a crown and yesterday was the first visit for tooth preparation. Dr. Sparks demonstrated the best traits of an outstanding dentist with a gentle touch and just the right amount of humor to keep the mood light. Dr. Spark's assistant, Gabbie was kind and skilled. The banter about music between them was interesting and helped take my mind off of the procedure. Additionally, my wife who has had a lifelong aversion to dentists is now happy and comfortable with the Cataloochee Dental Group.

Positive experience: Overall good, but some confusing and "obscure information" that turned a $1300 charge to a zero, with some push on my side, made the experience less enjoyable. Fantastic experience: I am a relatively new patient with Cataloochee Dental. Over the course of the last few visits, i have been extremely happy. Everyone is so kind and friendly...I was treated as if i was just part of the family. All the staff seem happy and to enjoy what they do...sounds of laughter in the halls...the overall atmosphere is very warm, cozy and inviting. Also, I had a small concern with one of my teeth that i have been told in the past (more than once) that there was nothing i could do, he fixed it today in a matter of 5 minutes and that's not even what i was there for! I will never go anywhere else.

Fantastic experience: I have been using Cataloochee Dental for approximately 10 years. I recently had an upper front tooth break off. I decided to go to the office first thing in the morning to see how soon I might be able to be seen. To my surprise, I was taken to a room within 10 minutes of arrival. Dr. Sparks evaluated my condition & a plan of treatment was started at that time. I really appreciate Dr. Sparks communication and professionalism. This is just the latest example of why I have been going to Cataloochee Dental for the last 10 years & will continue to do so.

Fantastic experience: I am a patient at Cataloochee Dental Group. I recently had a concern that a tooth was infected. My usual dentist was on vacation and I was quickly scheduled with another dentist. My appointment was scheduled to get in quickly and was advised that if the tooth got worse to call in. The dentist who saw me was very informative and things turned out well. Very satisfied..

Dr. Sparks is not only incredibly knowledgeable but also very personable, which made me feel completely at ease throughout my visit. I really appreciated how thoroughly he explained all of my options, taking the time to answer my questions and ensure I understood each step. While working on me, he consistently checked in to make sure I was comfortable — a level of attentiveness that makes such a difference. I also want to mention his assistant, who was an absolute sweetheart. She was kind, supportive, and made the whole appointment even more pleasant. Truly a wonderful team — I highly recommend them!
Fantastic experience: Very nice front office staff and Dr.Sparks and assistant were top notch!! I did not feel him numbing me up..at all .Went in initially for a couple of old silver fillings coming out that needed replaced AND a new problem that developed after the appointment was made...seems someone with a Hi-chew addiction chomped on one and out comes his 3 tooth bridge left lower jaw..knowing I had violated all things dentistry by continuing my indulgence with sweet, sticky,chewy candies of this nature, I meekly brought it with me seeing if anything could be done and sure enough Dr Sparks was able to cement it back in place!! And great job on the cavity repairs!! Thanks Y'all!!
