Fantastic experience: I switched to Sauk Dental after being treated poorly at my previous dentist. Everyone has been friendly, helpful and I don’t dread going to the dentist as I often have done in the past. The receptionists are welcoming and friendly, the hygienist was very patient and explained things to me and my dentist is great! He is compassionate, listens to me and does his best to calm my nerves. I highly recommend Sauk Trail Dental!

Fantastic experience: Best dental care ever. Light bright office space was welcoming. Staff was awesome with Krista giving extremely detailed care while explaining everything she was doing. Dr. Schellharm was great also offering detail care and care plan. Would highly recommend this office. They even had a tv on the ceiling which is a nice distraction.

Fantastic experience: I enjoyed my visit today. I was there for an evaluation of a tooth implant. Dr Krenzke was very helpful explaining all my options in terms that the average person can understand. I was not pressured in any way. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Negative experience: Called to schedule a cleaning and was quoted a price. Cleaning was fine but when I was rang up the lady said a price about twice what I was quoted! I said I was quoted almost half that. She said there is a mandatory exam with every cleaning that was the difference. I asked why I wasn’t told that when I scheduled the cleaning. They should have given me the total instead of giving the “cleaning only” fee so that I would go to them.the lady just looked at me like, you have to pay the whole thing. At that point I felt obligated even though I was quoted almost half! Looking for a new dentist.

Fantastic experience: The dentists and staff here are great and I feel very comfortable going to this dental clinic. Dr. Krenzke is a very skilled dentist and has done crowns and one dental implant for me. I had a problem with an old dental crown breaking and Dr. Krenzke got me in promptly and resolved the issue quickly. Things shifted a bit months later with my new night guard and he adjusted things for free. I just wish this location was in my United Concordia dental insurance network.

Fantastic experience: They were very nice and I didn’t have to wait long before my appointment. The chairs were very comfortable and They finished very quickly. I also believe they did a very thorough job.

Fantastic experience: Sure it’s just a cleaning but Saukville dental all assistants and dentists are great. I had an appt in an hour and my cleaning took thirty minutes and felt great. Sure my mouth was healthy! That’s what great dental care is all about!

Fantastic experience: I had a crown done at Sauk Trail 2 years ago and it fell out. I had to switch dental offices due to the location of my new job about a year and a half ago. My crown fell out because it was too thin and developed a hole. Insurance wouldn't cover a new crown with my new dentist since it hasn't been 5 years. I called Sauk Trail and got an appointment with Dr. Krenzke, and it was my first time meeting him. Even though the dentist that originally made my crown is no longer with Sauk Trail, Dr. Krenzke took the time to listen to me and he's going to make it right. He had a very pleasant demeanor and I would highly recommend him. I also enjoyed meeting his assistant, Mai. She was very sweet and took the time to listen to my concerns. She also was able to get me in as soon as possible for the process of getting my crown re-made. If Sauk Trail is in your area, I'd highly recommend seeing these two! The reception staff is very nice and friendly also!

Fantastic experience: First time here! I had a dental emergency and they thankfully got me in right away. It was fast and painless. I would recommend Sauk Trail Dental over and over. Everyone was so nice, helpful and explained things 100%. I am now not so apprehensive to call the dentist. You guys rock!!❤️

Fantastic experience: I recently had a dental emergency, had a few teeth damaged in an auto accident. I went to Sauk Trail Dental. I walked in a mess and eventually walked out with a great smile and a feeling of confidence that will last me a lifetime. I want to thank Dr Krenzke and his entire team for the excellent care I received. I had a choice of going with implants or a removable denture. I choose implants and am very happy with that choice. They were able to get me in very quickly which was a blessing in and of itself, as I am in a business career that requires a lot of in person meetings as well as on camera Zoom type meetings. Everyone on the staff were professionals and made me comfortable from the start. All the work took place right in the office, which was very nice, compared to having to go to another place for one process and another place for the rest. The anesthesiologist was great and made me feel comfortable and secure I was in good hands. All the follow up appointments were scheduled for my convenience, and it was nice working with the front office. In the end, I have a great smile that feels solid as a rock and am extremely satisfied. Thanks again Dr Krenzke and team!

Fantastic experience: I'm a relatively new 80 year old patient with a long history of dental issues. Dr. Rosenberg and his staff are very special. I find the dental work to be excellent. Dr. Rosenberg is patient and up-to-date with the newest technology.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Ott carefully and precisely treated the small cavity in the upper part of my exposed part of an end tooth of my bridge. I had no pain during the procedure. The area is now covered and protected. It has become a natural looking part of my bridge. Her work is amazing!

My most recent treatment included a recent root canal filling, a tooth extraction, and the surgical placement of an implant post. Dr. Schellhorn and the staff provide professional service, clear caring interaction, and thorough post-treatment instructions. In addition the business office staff does a nice job of providing a description of work that is recommended, anticipated insurance coverage, and estimated patient responsibility.

Fantastic experience: Always have a great experience when im there. The staff is wonderful. The dentists are knowledgeable. I had Dr. Krenzke who talked me through every detail of what they had done before and after. And showed pictures too. I ended up needing a crown on a tooth that needed a lot of care. Dr. Steven Krenske was very professional, quick, and when i got a call the next day to see how o was doing...brought my experience to exceptional!

Fantastic experience: Recently I unfortunately broke a tooth. Fortunately a friend recommended Sauk Trail Dental. They got me in without an appointment between other patients. Kelsey, Mai, and Dr. Krenske were fantastic. They made sure I was comfortable and well taken care of throughout the whole process. The financials were also upfront. I received the same treatment when I returned for my permanent crown. Breaking a tooth was horrible but this was by far my best dental experience. Can’t thank them enough

Fantastic experience: I went in with terrible pain and infection. After referral to a colleague I was pain free by afternoon and the next day prepped for a new crown. I highly recommend this practice the staff are very pleasant and helpful and dr shellhorn does excellent work! So happy to have been seen so quickly! Thank you all for the great service!

Fantastic experience: I can’t say enough about the great service Sauk Trail Dental provides. They just keep impressing me! I had prep for a crown today. Each associate was pleasant and helpful. Dr Krenzke was so skilled that I hardly felt the anesthetic going in and felt virtually no pain throughout the process. He finished up by showing me pictures of before, during, and after my procedure and explaining everything he’d done. Becca is a great assistant and preps a great temporary- I hardly know it’s there! Thank you to the whole team from the front desk to the care givers!

Negative experience: Careful about what they say insurance will cover. Scamed me and my wife now. Had to pay over $5200 above what they said insurance covered.

Fantastic experience: I have a lot of anxiety having to see the dentist. That being said Dr. Krenzke has made the entire experience way less anxiety filled. I had to have a crown done due to an old filling cracking. He got me in right away. And made it as pain free as I have ever had at a dentist. The entire staff is amazing. From my dental higentist Krista, to Olivia at the front desk, Donna and Amanda in the back and of course the Dental Assistants Kelsey, Erin, Becca, and Mai are all truly great people. They have been excellent at helping me get over my fear of the dentist.

Fantastic experience: I was very expressed with Sauk dental. I was very apprehensive for this first appointment. They were very caring, informative, and relieved a lot of my anxiety. I got to put a shout out for the hygienist; Kinsey! Answered all questions, and I really like the location in my hometown of Saukville.

Positive experience: A lot of changes and lack of communication have made me reconsider going back. Since I began going to Sauk Trail a few years back, the dentists have changed several times, and never have I as a patient been notified that the dentist I had seen had changed. I’ve signed up for monthly membership programs which were cancelled by the business while I still was being charged for them. I opened a Care Credit card for the sole purpose of dentistry costs and apparently they also no longer accept that, to which again as a patient I was never notified. Whenever I see a new dentist, a new problem that hadn’t existed prior is brought to my attention. To put it simply, as a patient for years, the lack of communication and transparency from the business has broken my trust.

Fantastic experience: Customer service & care here is absolutely exceptional! I first called in a crisis - in pain & just wanting to be heard. Donna listened to my needs & was so kind to me over the phone and totally earned my business with her pleasant & caring attitude! I called 9 different dental offices about my situation and was told to basically kick rocks. She was able to get me in within a few days to address my emergency tooth situation & when arriving Olivia was very welcoming at the front desk & Becca was so reassuring that I was in good hands and guided me through my options without pushing an agenda. Dr. Schellhorn was super personable as well as addressed my emergent needs all within a few hours where I was able to go back to work after my quick & painless procedure & not waste an entire day like most places! I am so appreciative that I found this place & that they were able to meet me where I was at. I have so much gratitude for this experience as a whole and they have definitely earned my business for life! Thank you all for being so helpful & awesome!

Negative experience: My husband's visit to Sauk trail dental was disappointing to say the least. He was trying them after our long time dentist retired. They offer a $99. introductory offer for a cleaning and comprehensive oral examination. This was the worst cleaning he ever had. They even " forgot" to floss his teeth until he asked. And for the comprehensive oral examination, well that was like being at a time share presentation. They tried to sell him all kinds of procedures that he "may" need some time in the future. Well, he may need a hip replacement in the future but he's not going to get it now! They gave him a list of thousands of dollars worth of work that should be done to prevent future problems. They wanted him to join their club so he will get a discount on future work. It was the worst dental experience he ever had and would never go back or recommend them to anyone.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Schellhorn and his staff are the most knowledgeable, efficient, careful and caring individuals in the dentistry field. I have been a patient for over a year and most recently had cracked a tooth. I was in a chair almost immediately getting a temporary crown and will soon go in for a permanent crown. Genuine people from the front staff, to assistants, to the dentist. Feels like a family.

Negative experience: Came in for a cleaning. Receptionist said the hygienist wasn't in and they texted me to let me know. They texted my landline. Never got confirmation. Also, the receptionist has the demeanor of a brick. Never apologized for their mistake. Stone cold.

Fantastic experience: I had a root canal done by Dr. Schellhorn, and the experience was excellent from start to finish. It was completely stress-free and painless! Dr. Schellhorn was professional, reassuring, and made the entire process smooth. The staff was also incredibly friendly and professional, which made the visit even more comfortable. Highly recommend!

Negative experience: They had a $100 cleaning ad so went in during which they tried to convince me I need two teeth grinded down and crowns installed for several thousand dollars. Went elsewhere and the dentist simply filled two cavities for $50. Be careful with scammers like this and always get a second opinion.

Fantastic experience: I have been going to Sauk Dental for 3 years since I moved to the area and have been very happy with the work I’ve had done. Yesterday I had a periodontal cleaning with Krista and she did a terrific job. I anticipated sore gums following but no discomfort at all. Thanks Krista.

I recently lost my dentist as she moved but Dr. Henry took over and completed the work that my previous dentist started. The experience has been nothing short of amazing. Fantastic experience: It can be difficult to review a dental office for the simple reason that it is not typically a pleasant experience. However, as I am new to sauk trail, I would like to share a few things. This office is new and up dated. Nice atmosphere. The staff has been excellent, nice and accommodating. My treatment plan has been well explained. And the payment's have been made clear as to what insurance will cover and what they won't. Lexi has been fantastic, her patient care and reassurance is excellent. It is important for me to be able to strike up conversation and know that I am remembered, and not just another person sitting in that chair. Thank you to the staff, and Dr. Schellhorn

Fantastic experience: Called before they were open for an extraction and they called me back right away and fit me in same day. Melissa, Olivia, and Dr Shellhorn were understanding of my dental anxiety and took very good care of me. I’ll recommend this place to anyone with two ears and teeth any day!

Negative experience: They rescheduled my filling appointment twice which was a pain because I needed to make arrangements with my job to make time for both appointments. Finally get my appointment and the dentist gets to work on my tooth. He leaves the room for at least ten mins to talk to another patient while I'm sitting with a halfway deconstructed tooth. He gets back to work on my tooth and my gum starts to bleed. He says to his assistant oh be careful his gums bleed if you look at them the wrong way. Really not something nice to say in my opinion. I liked all the assistants but Im looking for a new dentist because of the constant rescheduling and poor bedside manner. Only reason I gave two stars is because of how nice the staff are besides the dentist.

They make sure that you understand what's going on and do their best to make everything clear and concise. Negative experience: My insurance had changed and was looking for a new dentist I set up an appointment for a cleaning .after X-rays and evaluation I was told they could not do a cleaning because my gums were so bad. This was never a concern with my previous dentist.they wanted to put me on a treatment plan for root planing before they would be able to clean my teeth. They also wanted to put a crown on one tooth just because it had a large filling in it. After going for a second opinion to a different dentist they had no problem cleaning my teeth and other than keeping up with my flossing ,my gums we're not of concern. Also no crown was needed. If I had gone through with their treatment plan it would have cost me $1,166 and they would have billed the insurance company an additional $3,111. Staff was very friendly but personally I would not trust them.

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend sauk trail dental! they were able to get me in for a new patient appointment on short notice. Ellie and Dr. Schellhorn listened to all of my concerns and were able to use their digital scanner to show me an invisalign simulator. They offered me an option for sedation to get my wisdom teeth out as well! Krista, their hygienist was extremely thorough and gentle when she did my cleaning. Overall I had an amazing experience and can’t wait to come back!

Fantastic experience: As someone who has had a fear of going to the dentist my whole life, I always seemed to put off going unless I had an issue. Going to sauk trail dental changed that. They were able to help me immediately with a crown replacement (which was the easiest and most painless crown replacement that I have had) and then got me on track with my twice a year cleanings. It is the best dentist office I have been to and I highly recommend them to everyone!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Cook & Liv have been wonderful to me. I’ve always had issues with my teeth and some of my past experiences at other offices have made me really nervous to go the dentist. Liv & Dr. Cook have helped to ease my nerves and make me feel much more comfortable with each visit. Dr. Cook is very personable and thoroughly explains everything so you know exactly what she is doing and why.
