Fantastic experience: I seriously love this office the Denist and hygienist are so nice and comforting it’s never a long wait and they address all my concerns.. love love love them!

Fantastic experience: Josh has been my dentist for over 10 years. He and his staff are always professional and pleasant 5 stars are not enough to give this staff and the experience

Negative experience: I could not be more unhappy with this dental office. We were with them about 2-3 years. When we started there we were “in network.” When we received a $400 bill, I called the office to complain. The nonsense I was told was they called, left voicemails, emails and texts about being “out of network.” This is an absolutely lie! They never once did any of these means of communication! I would have loved to see proof of any of these so called means of communication.They did not let us know we were out of network. Why would we stay with a dentist out of network!!! That’s absolutely ludicrous. There are tons of dentists in Martinsburg. The only idea I can come up with is they steal money from client's. Why else would you lies about contacting patients about being out of network. They sent the bill to collections. My suggest is stay away from this office or constantly check your status with Insurance company. The worse office staff! I spoke with them several times. They did even offer an apology. Do your job! Instead, of lying. No one in their right mind would stay with a group out of network just be price gouged. They don’t even deserve one star

Fantastic experience: Dr. Hancock and his team are always friendly, and extremely knowledgeable. It's clear they genuinely care about each person who comes through the door. Due to a change in Medical insurance, I had to briEfly see Another dentist in the hedgesville road area. It was a terrible experience and I feLt uncomfortable with the dentiSt (not friendly, pushy about costly unnecessary dental work). I'm relieved to be back in this office where I feel comfortable and well taken care of. I honestly would pay out of pocket before going to someone else. This practice is honest, trust worthy and highly recommended !

Fantastic experience: Hancock Dental has always been fantastic. They listen to my concerns, and everyone there is friendly and welcoming. For the last couple of appointments, I have had to bring my daughter with me and it's never been a problem. They even let her pick out a toothbrush and sticker at the end just for being there with me. She loves coming to the dentist. Any positive feelings I can get for my kid about the dentist is a huge win! The teeth cleaning is professional and gentle. They are thorough when cleaning around my permanent retainer. They remember me and follow up with anything I need, but never anything unnecessary. I highly recommend Hancock Dental. Five stars!

Fantastic experience: My daughters and I are new patients here, Dr. Hancock and all the staff have been nothing less than terrific! The staff is very warm, and welcoming. They are very resourceful and helped facilitate consults with both oral surgery and orthodontic care for my girls, along with offering same-day scheduling when I chipped a tooth.

Fantastic experience: I have not actually visited the dental center yet because I had to postpone my appointment due to an accident. The health coordinator, however, was most helpful and understanding to reschedule. When I finally had my first appointment with Hancock Dental, I was impressed with the professionalism, friendliness, and the procedures. Jess and Dr. Josh explained everything, and Jess explained each step she was doing during my x-rays and cleaning. Dr. Josh is delightfully friendly. I've done my time in a dentist's chair in 82 years; this is the first time I have been so comfortable. I have already recommended Hancock Dental Center to a few of my relatives.

Negative experience: I had a very bad and expensive interaction with Dr. Hancock. Not going to go into the details here but if you are referred to an orthodontist, make sure his office has a plan to follow up and you understand how he interacts with both you and the orthodontist to make sure you get the care you need. I trusted he and his office and it cost me thousands and a lot of pain for my wife. He was fine for a general cleaning and cavity, be Leary of anything else.

Fantastic experience: I love Dr Hancock! He and his staff make me feel at ease. He doesn’t do anything to teeth unless the teeth actually need to be fixed. He keeps me laughing through most of my appointment and this helps me since I had horrible experiences with dentists as a child! Dr Hancock makes the appointment relaxing! They treat me like family! Well………let’s say better than family!!!!!

Negative experience: To who it to who who may concern I called Hancock dental spoke to a lady about my grandmother for insurance and they asked what kind of insurance she's got and I said she's got dental but I'm not for sure what the name of it is and I told her she's got a couple other insurance too and that woman or whatever you want to call it said well we don't not take the other insurance well you have a great day I don't recommend no one going there un professional people

Fantastic experience: After being looking for a dentist since I moved from Leesburg, VA 11 years ago and having pushing Dentists all the time insisting in mouth guards and expensive deep cleanings, finally I came with a real dentist. Hygienist was so professional and courteous, she did an amazing job even I had more than 3 years w/o a dental cleaning. Never heard about mouth guards nor deep cleaning. I was so satisfied with their job that my entire family will be going there, thanks....

Fantastic experience: Very glad to find a dentist taking new patients AND my insurance. Easy location to find. As it had been a lot longer than I'd like to admit, I was worried the hygienist would take forever to clean my teeth. She was a PRO! From X-rays to cleaning to my time to chat with Dr. Hancock, barely an hour passed. Would recommend to anyone with no dental issues like me (I'm cavity-free at 52). Can't speak to skills beyond that.
