Fantastic experience: Another great appointment for my Mom with Dr. Carol at the West Liberty location. She had a cleaning this time, but always very thorough. An x-ray was taken. At the end of appointment when in finance/scheduling office, I was shown the x-ray and the hygienist pointed out and explained to me what Dr. Carol had found, which will require treatment. The x-ray gal was so patient and kind with my elderly Mother! The hygienist was great with Mom, and also me when showing and explaining to me the findings of x-ray, the finance gal was very courteous and knowledgeable, and Brianne (front desk) is super too! We chatted; she answered all questions, and booked the next 6-month appt according to our needs. I highly recommend the Gentle Dental group. They are so easy to work with. The best part for my Mom thoughts always was seeing Dr. Carol. My Mom is treated so well, and always with great outcome, and that is what's most important to me. Mom has always been pleased with this group. We Thank You Dr. Carol (and the team); you are special to my Mom. 5/21/26 West Liberty Another 5-Star review for my Mother's appt. She had a crown put on (which she didnt want, but needed). As always, she was pleased! She stated the dental assistant (thinks her name was Melissa) was great! I also initially went back with Mom and asked this gal questions. She answered them all and was very courteous. The crown was made exceptionally well (due to precise measurements) and put on so well to the point you almost couldn't tell between it and her tooth. They also got Mom out 1/2 hour earlier; estimated up to 2 hours. I was given a status update on how my Mother was doing about halfway through. Throughout my time in the waiting area, I conversed with Breanna when she was available. I was taken back when Mom was finished. Again, my Mother SO happy and smiling every time she gets to see Dr. Carol; one of her favorite persons on the planet! Mom always wants to hug Dr. Carol, and she gets one! I am so thankful that my Mother is treated with such kindness and respect. Thank you Dr.Carol and Team! Susi R.

Fantastic experience: My visit to Gentle Family Dental was again a very positive experience. During this visit X-rays were scheduled and it was a good thing that they were due. It was discovered that I had a cavity next to a wisdom tooth. Fortunately the staff was able to take care of it right away without rescheduling for a later appt. Dr. Caroline did an excellent repair! It looks great and I feel relieved they caught the cavity this time around! Yay! High fives to GFD!

They love it so much they make the boys feel comfortable and happy when being seen by anyone always a clean and loving environment for them to get their dental work done! They’re 5 so it’s a big part of the reason why we chose to go with gentle family dentist they are so nice to us!

Fantastic experience: Another great experience at Gentle Dental with Dr. Roberto and Desiree. I love the multilayer approach to patient comfort during my same sitting crown replacement. I had a comfortable chair with a neck pillow, a TV mounted in the ceiling with headphones and a remote, nitrous oxide, local anesthesia gel for several minutes, then gentle local anesthesia through a small gage needle given slowly over minutes. Then they waited for the anesthesia to take effect. I only felt the tiniest sharp sensation momentarily with the first needle. I was mostly watching old Gunsmoke reruns. The crown was created from scratch while I waited comfortably. When they brought it in, it fit almost perfectly with minimal adjustments. Then I was given 800 mg Ibuprofen and I never had any postprocedure pain.

Fantastic experience: I went in to have a crown installed after a root canal. Dr Roberto Moreno and his assistant did an amazing job. I don’t know what they used to prep my mouth for the Novacaine injection but I NEVER felt the injection. They worked on prepping the tooth for the crown. Took a 3d pic of my teeth and then created the tooth - test fit it, then finished prepping the tooth for placement and set it in place. It feels just like the old tooth - I can’t tell I had anything done and that’s exactly the way it should be. Everyone was kind smiled and seemed glad I was there, as was I. I’m so great full I go to Gentle Family Dentists.

Fantastic experience: I absolutely love the entire staff at Gentle Family Dentist. I go to the West Liberty and I actually look forward to each visit because I am no longer afraid to go to the dentist! I have suffered extreme anxiety about going to the dentist my entire life before finding Gentle Family Dentist. They offer nitrous oxide FREE upon request! I used to need a Valium just to make my appointments, 2 to actually GO! NO MORE!! They are all so friendly and GENTLE! They have the best and newest equipment and procedures that aren’t as invasive and noisy as they used to be. For the first time in my adult life (I am in my 50’s) that I have been able to keep up my dental hygiene routine as well as I do my medical care. I recommend Gentle Family Dentist to everyone I know. Fantastic care.

Positive experience: I have enjoyed previous experiences with these Dentists they do good work. I don't like the new policy of restrictions on what time patients can or cannot make appointments based on insurance it made me feel bad when I have double insurance on my kids to help pay the bills I can't control how the insurance coverage works. It is bias and unfair to punish the customers for insurance payment problems to restrict time so I cancelled our appts since we were such a burden after I was called by the dentist and asked to remove my review.

The technicians worked together so that I didn't gag when they did the x-rays - it was the first time anybody succeeded in doing x-rays for me in 20 years.
