Dental Care Associates - Johnstown

Negative experience: Made an appointment online for a cleaning and when I got there they couldn't do the cleaning until December and just said that's the problem with the online. Maybe then don't have the option to schedule online if it's not really scheduling an appointment

Fantastic experience: Dianna is so wonderful!!! She is super friendly and knowledgeable. She was able to answer any questions I had. She was quick but very thorough. Very professional. Front office staff is always so nice. Very friendly. Even when they call me to change my appt, they do everything possible to accommodate my schedule. I couldn’t ask for anything better with this office. Dr Luther is also very professional and kind.

Fantastic experience: 8/20/26: I was on the waitlist for a cleaning, trying to get in before a long vacation. The Dental Care Associates called a few days ago and said an opening because available yesterday. I was pleasantly surprised because I had been on the waitlist for several weeks. Then the days before my appointment they called again and offered an even earlier appointment! My visit was very pleasant. The technician did an outstanding job. The dentist came in and gave me an all clear, they set me up for my next visit and I was on my way! Feel much better! :) Again, I was pleasantly surprised to find they actively manage their waitlist. Encouraging for anyone who cares about good dental care. Thanks!!!!!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Luther is a one of a kind dentist. If you're not satisfied with his work then you are one of the few that cannot be pleased. He's even done a root canal with very little pain ( n I'm a sissy when it comes to my teeth)

I was there over an hour for a front tooth filling because the dentist was so particular about how it would look, they would not let me leave until my tooth was PERFECT. Fantastic experience: The whole staff is wonderful. Dr. Luther is very patient with my daughters. He listens and will explain his methods/philosophy. He gave us different options on how to address my daughter's bad tooth.

Fantastic experience: I cannot recommend Dr Luther and his team enough! My kids go here and they actually enjoy going to the dentist. (Might be in part of the “treasure box” lol) Dr Luther was able to take care of a pretty deep cavity for one and she never complained of any aches/pains afterwards. We’ve never had long waits or felt rushed. They’re super helpful with answering questions/concerns. There’s a few different hygienists that we’ve had appointments with and they’re all great!

Fantastic experience: Ive been going to Dental Care for 53 years when if first opened in Richland Mall across from K-mart. The facility is well staffed with experienced dental workers and excellent, pleasant Doctors. I have Dr. Luther now and after filings, braces and caring for my teeth,at 71 I need upper denture due to a medication that made all my teeth loose. I would never go to any other dental facility. After 53 years of going there should tell you how excellent this facility is. Its a privilege to be a patient for 53 years!

They got my husband in for an emergency same day on a Friday extraction.Pam the receptionist was absolutely helpful , caring and compassionate.. Everyone is always so accommodating, real, and non-judgmental which I appreciate after being judged at the bigger, shinier dentist offices. She shared a lot of very helpful info with me about one of the conditions that I have that no other specialist has been able to give me. She also did a great job of cleaning my teeth! Dr. Luther is so kind, compassionate, and knowledgeable! He told me that he originally went to medical school before going into dentistry. It brings me comfort knowing he's someone who is well educated in the medical problems that I have. It's been a very long journey trying to find doctors and specialists whom understand. Fantastic experience: I Only had cleaning and check-up, but both were done thoroughly and professionally. I would recommend Dental Care Associates to anyone. Dr. Luther advised me of other two issues I have with crowns I have (one I knew about) and we talked about timetables in which to get this done. October 2025
