Eventhough we had a miscommunication with the lab about the repair I was only without my smile for two days. I was alright with that. A very competent and reliable staff. I recommend Wilson Family Dental to anyone who needs dental care.

Fantastic experience: I think I speak for the majority on this...but I don't like going to the dentist. I put it off for a while, stopped here a few years ago to assess a broken tooth. In my stubbornness, I put it off and woke up at 2am this morning with my gum swollen. Called and they got me in the same day. New team since last time I went, they were all super friendly and the office was really clean. The staff is really personable. I am terrible with names but the lead dentist was genuine in her intent of taking care of me. They not only made me feel comfortable but they didn't push anything. They did an X-ray and helped me along my way. Will be coming back for my procedure next week and eventually to get routine dental work done. Oh, and they were really affordable with my insurance. Could not be happier!

Dr. Prahalad is knowledgeable, gentle, and takes the time to clearly explain procedures and answer any questions without making you feel rushed. The level of care and attention to detail truly stands out, and it’s clear they prioritize patient comfort. One of the biggest highlights is their in-house dental insurance plan. It’s reasonably priced and honestly much better than traditional dental insurance—simple, transparent, and actually useful without all the typical headaches and limitations of regular dental insurance. Overall, I highly recommend Dr. Pari Prahalad if you’re looking for high-quality dental care with a personal touch and great value.

Fantastic experience: 4/15/2026 Coming from a terrible dentist office experience in November 2025 and feel like this is a diamond in Wilson. Wilson Family Dental provided me with a two week in advance reminder about my appointment. This was a nice change because my last office would notify me on Friday, before to a Monday appointment, at 4:55pm and be closed. (For the whole weekend.) 24 hours before my appointment, WFD contacted me by text and call to collect my health information, insurance info, and drivers licenses. I liked this because my life is busy and I forgot to fill out the forms they texted me during the reminder text. Their team members really helped me stay on track with my paperwork and that made the appointment super fluid. Appointment day, I was seen within moments of walking in. Jenny, their hygienist, started our first meeting by sitting me down and letting me speak about previous dental work concerns, work the previous office was trying to sell me, my personal habits, her suggestions, and much more. She really impressed me at that moment because she actually has opinions on all that stuff and what we see online. Understanding the real risks of accidentally using false oral care practices really helped me fell more comfortable in her care. She's feels like a genuine subject matter expert. After a few quick scans, examinations, a cleaning, and light conversation, I met the wonderful Dr. Pari. The doctor gave me a chance to voice all of my concerns. Then, we did a few more exams. When we finished, I learned about my dental issues. Even when I didn't understand something, she showed me on Google images and I had my aha moment. It's nice to have a doctor that doesn't mind dumbing it down with real world examples instead of cgi! LOL In short, I had Aspen Dental of Wilson and will never go back. My new office found care issues from the previous dental office and now I face potential long term issues because of them. If you read this far, why haven't you made an appointment yet? This office is like your mom's house, she's got your best interest in mind. PS - I'm not paid to say any of this. I'm just a person that was searching for help cause I didn't have any dental "problems" till I went to Aspen Dental and every 6 months it was "Drill baby drill" 3 or 4 years. If anything wild happens here, I do updates. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Fantastic experience: Not sure I've ever had a more pleasant dental appointment, nor one where the dentist, correctly, suggested the problem might be caused more by allergy pressure than by an actual problem with my teeth. Who knew? Anyway, everyone in the office was cheerful, humorous and caring. If I lived in the area, rather than just being an out of state visitor, I would choose WFD as my regular dental professionals. Oh, and, probably a little off point, but my dog, who stuck her nose in the door, loved everyone too, especially Nikki, so I can't help thinking if my dog, who's very discerning, loved everyone, I must be in a good place.

Fantastic experience: I had a great experience at Wilson Family Dental. From the very first phone call, the person who answered was so sweet and professional. It had actually been years since I had been there the last time was when I was a teenager in 2005 so it was a bit of a blast from the past when they found me in the system. The day of my appointment everyone was so kind. Check-in was easy, my dental assistant Nikki was wonderful, and Dr. Pari Prahalad was great as well. The entire staff made me feel comfortable. So glad I decided to come back I definitely recommend them!

Negative experience: I am an 82- year old woman and have been with this dental practice for many years under Dr. Via (retired) and Dr. Batten (relocated back to his home recently). I went in yesterday for my first visit with the new dentist, Dr. Pari Prahalad, for my regular cleaning and checkup. I declined to have dental X-rays done as I had detected no problems but if upon examination a problem was detected, then I would agree to X-rays necessary to deal with that problem. I was told that because of legal issues in case something happened to me and they were sued that they would be responsible legally because they had not done X-rays as required. I agreed to sign a waiver but was informed that even then they would require I submit to yearly X-rays in the future in order to receive their dental services. I was informed that I would have a hard time finding a new dentist because they would all require yearly X-rays for these legal reasons. I decided at that point to end my connection with them and left with no service being received by me. I will not be returning.

Positive experience: The doctor and staff is very nice. They are thorough in their procedures and explaining what is going on in your mouth. I would recommend.

Fantastic experience: I am a new patient at this practice and had my second visit today to get a cleaning done. I’ve avoided the dentist for the last several years due to anxiety around dental care and knew my cleaning would be a little more involved due to some build up. I was taken care of Hailey, one of the hygienists, and she was excellent. Her demeanor made me feel a lot more relaxed and the experience was much better than I imagined it would be. She did an incredible job and was also very informative and encouraging when we discussed how I can better take care of my oral health. My teeth look and feel incredible and my only regret is not coming in sooner. Thank you Hailey!

Fantastic experience: I really enjoyed the team of dentist. I had on my visit 12 1625. I really felt like this time. I will get a quality set up dentures that fit and look good. I had more work done on my mouth to ensure a good fit for my dentures then I have ever this is my second dentist and you can look up who the first one was. I am very pleased and I trust my dentures will be perfect. If not, my treatment was thank you, the Wilson Dentistry team.

Fantastic experience: The whole experience was great. Everyone was friendly and professional.

Negative experience: I had a crown come off and went to a dentist that replaced my prior dentist. The dental assistant was hard to hear and understand as she spoke in a whisper. She asked when the crown was put on and was "surprised" when I didn't remember. And she had the info in front of her! The dentist came in and said I'd have to have the tooth built up and a new crown made as I couldn't use the existing crown. The dental assistant said the earliest appt to get it built up was 3.5 weeks away. Total cost was $1,800+ - after insurance it was just under $800! I opted for a second opinion and so glad i did. Got an appt for the next day, and he took xray, cleaned my tooth and cap and put it right back on. Total cost after insurance was $81. Needless to say, I have a new dentist! Moral: don't take advantage of people!

Fantastic experience: I had an appointment to get a 2nd opinion. Everyone in the office is great from the front reception to the back chair. They actually got me in two days before my original appointment date after a tooth broke off leaving a sharp edge. They were able to file it down. I highly recommend giving them a call when you’re due for a cleaning or in case of an emergency.

Negative experience: Went for a issue with one tooth they said I had multiple cavities and wanted to work on every thing but my issue went and got a second opinion and 3 out of the 5 cavities they said I had don’t exist and wanted to wait 4 months to fix the main issue X-rays took way to long and where very uncomfortable and the tech had to have help just to get me some type of treatment plan. Felt like they were insurance happy and they were about to work on perfectly heathy teeth to fund their Business had a bad vibe from the start. Would not recommend only reason I went was because it was in network for my dental Insurance!

Fantastic experience: I had a very pleasant visit on Aug 22nd. I had my teeth cleaned and I was very satisfied with my cleaning.

Positive experience: The office staff from the front office to the back with the dentist(forgot his name), was very nice and very professional. It was my first visit, and I look forward to the second one. My only concern I had came before my actual visit, which is the reason for the 4 stars instead of 5. I called to get an emergency visit, because I became "consistently" dissatisfied with my old dentist, and needed immediate answers or care. I was able to get an appointment with WFD. I was given a time of 11:50 same day....Great! I called before my appointment about the billing, I think, and was told by the receptionist that my appointment was changed to 11:40. No one called me. I checked, and no message was left....Not So Great! What was weird was that she never even stated that anyone tried to call me. So I was glad I called. It's a $50 fee for what's considered a missed appointment! Hopefully that won't happen again, because I really dislike changing doctors/dentists!

Every dentist ive ever been to have always hurt my mouth with a needle leaving me terrified to go back BUT this dentist was amazing I never felt a thing!!! I can say he honestly took the fear of going to the dentist away for me. I would definitely tell everyone that if you want a pain free dentist visit and calming atmosphere that is the place to go.

Fantastic experience: Wilson Family Dental just gained a new patient! I had a tooth emergency yesterday and when my regular office couldn’t see me, I gave WFD a call. I called at 12:30 and they offered to squeeze me in at 2:30! Everyone was so nice and welcoming, the office was clean, and I was done in less than an hour. Dr. Batten was very polite, talked me through some options and different scenarios, and answered all of my questions. They made me feel like I had been a regular patient for years. I will definitely be switching my care over. Thanks WFD for being so accommodating!
