Fantastic experience: Six years ago I saw Dr. Bonavilla for a specialized procedure. I was impressed w his knowledge, expertise, how he managed the issue and outcome. Recently I had a procedure that called for his speciality. I was also very impressed w how the technical staff responded to my needs and how evident their desire to help was. I have no hesitation in referring others.

Fantastic experience: Had to have an unexpectant root canal. I was nervous but everyone put me at ease. It was painless and didn’t take as long as I thought it would. Dr. Bonavilla has excellent chair side manner and is highly skilled. All staff were professional and the office ran efficiently.

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend this practice! -- I was traveling from out of town and needed an emergent root canal. I called the office and they were able to see me the same day. Jason Mathys, DDS fixed the issue promptly and with great care. The entire staff was friendly, informative, kind, and easy to work with. From my first interaction with Vickie (front office) to Christy (hygienist) to Dr. Mathys, my experience was seamless and enjoyable considering my need. Fantastic experience: I had a great experience with Central Carolina Endodontics in Orangeburg. They were able to get me seen and treated 1 day after the referral was made from my dentist. I was extremely nervous, but Dr. Bonnavilla and his staff were EXCELLENT!!! He numbed me very good and I didn’t even feel any pain! Every member of the office staff that I encountered were friendly and helpful. So very thankful that we have this practice and specialty available to us in Orangeburg!! Fantastic experience: Central Carolina Endodontics was wonderful experience from start to end.... The Orangeburg staff and Dr.Mathys was great. I felt no pain and this was my first root canal. All my questions was answered by his assistant prior to him coming in to do a exam. Even tho I had a referral slip from my general dentist, Dr.Mathys still did his own test to double check. Dr.Mathys and his assistant worked great together and I enjoyed listening to the conversation. I would recommend this practice to anybody that needs a root canal.

Fantastic experience: What a breathe of fresh air at Central Carolina Endodontics compared to the place I'd been to in Summerville! Thank You! I had an emergency situation with a possible root canal develop late the night before.(of course) I didn't know where to turn the next morning (Fri.), but knew I needed a Dr. asap to give me an antibiotic and advice with my situation so whatever it was it didnt get worse over the weekend. A friend works at one of Central Carolina offices. I called them that morning. A warm friendly voice answered and patiently listened to my immediate problem. Then she said, "Just hold on. We'll get you some help today." She told me when to come in, they'd be waiting for me! It was worth the 2 hr. one-way drive! I walked into a warm, friendly atmosphere. The receptionist smiled and guessed who I was when I walked in and had everything ready to get me started. In a matter of minutes I was greeted by another friendly, smiling face and listening technician. The Dr. was also very attentive, and explained what the painful problem was that had started 12 hr. earlier. Best of all, she explained I had options to address the source of the problem. When was the last time you had any type of Dr. sit, listen and talk with you, rather than at you about a medical issue? Refreshing! I left with understanding of what was going on, answers to my questions, options to correct the issue, a prescription to address the immediate problem that was waiting for me when I got back to my hometown, and an appointment Monday at the closest Central Carolina office! Thank You Central Carolina Endodontics, for providing me help and knowledge in an emergency situation with a warm, friendly and caring attitude! You now have a New Patient, and I highly recommend you to others!

Fantastic experience: I was referred here by my dentist after a simi-annual cleaning. Something showed up on an xray that the dentist felt needed further review. The appointment was made the same day, and the time it took to be seen was phenomenally short. The appointment was thorough, the staff was excellent, and my doctor, Dr. Joseph Bonavilla, was very personable and kind. For a "dentist" appointment, it couldn't have been better, and I don't like going to the dentist. If your dentist refers you to an Endodontics facility, I highly recommend this one.

Fantastic experience: My visit was pleasant, however, I showed up on the wrong date. Thinking that I was visiting on the right date, I was informed that I came in a day early. But, Administrative Specialist, Vickie, worked me into the schedule to see Dr. Bonavilla while I was there. The experience was calming from the dental assistant to meeting with Dr. Bonavilla. No pressure consultation was provided making my experience more pleasant. I would definitely visit again to get the needed endodontic therapy.

Fantastic experience: I had a toothache for 3 weeks and I was referred to Central Carolina Endodontics by my dentist. Dr Mathys and his staff were very cordial and courteous, and they tried to be as accommodating as possible. Dr Mathys diagnosed the problem and decided right then and there that I needed a root canal. His receptionist said that they couldn’t do it until 3pm, and the time was around 9:45ish. This meant that I would have had to go back home 45 minutes away and come back. Before I left, they gave me Motrin and a bottle of water for the pain, and it helped. I appreciated that very much. Before leaving Orangeburg I decided to sit down and have breakfast. I placed my order and my phone rings. It was the receptionist calling to ask if I was still in Orangeburg because they had a no show. I went back and he performed the procedure. He explained thoroughly what the procedure entails. He and his assistant made me very comfortable. I have yet to feel pain. I highly recommend this office for your more complex dental needs.

They are also understanding of medical conditions and were very accommodating. The office was very clean! The procedure was less painful than some of my cavities drilled in the 1970’s. Fantastic experience: Wonderful experience here. I was told by a different practice that I needed a root canal, to go to an endodontist. They told me I did not need a root canal, and the sheer fact they were so open and honest with me was amazing. They could've just performed the procedure, but they knew I did not truly need it, and confirmed that with sensitivity tests. They were so patient and understanding with me having dental anxiety, and listened to my concerns and addressed them, also giving me advice on how to take care of the ulcer that was the real issue. If I ever do need endodontic work done in the future, I will absolutely be coming back to them and will recommend them to anyone else needing their services! Thank you ladies!

Fantastic experience: I arrived expecting to get a simple consultation, and options for a tooth I was thinking of having removed and replaced with an implant. After some conversation with Dr, Klux I agreed (with quite a bit of apprehension) to have a root canal. I was convinced of her skill in performing the procedure and that she was understanding of my fear of the anticipated pain. Dr. Klux ensured that I was comfortable throughout and believe me; the only (slight) discomfort I experienced was the clamping to isolate the tooth. I would HIGHLY recommend Dr. Klux and the Central Carolina Endodontics team. Thank you for what was TRULY a perception changing experience.

Fantastic experience: I was pretty anxious as I had not been to an endodontist before. I was referred to Central Carolina Endodontics by my dentist for a retreat of an old root canal thought underlie intense dental pain in response to cold. The entire staff there was very courteous and professional. The endodontist determined the issue was not with the tooth with the old root canal, but the tooth just behind it. Opted to get a root canal done in that tooth in order to keept it. It was the easiest, fastest, painless root canal I’ve had because of the obvious care and experience of the staff. It was a completely positive experience.

Not only was it not as bad as I thought, the hardest part was the numbing but even that wasn’t terrible. Dr. Klus had such a calming presence that helped me relax.
