Fantastic experience: Laurie is absolutely wonderful! She is extraordinarily kind and always makes every visit such a pleasant experience. I was especially impressed that she remembered everything we had talked about at my last appointment, even my spring break plans. That kind of thoughtfulness and genuine care really stands out. Laurie is always a pleasure to see, and I couldn’t recommend her enough!

Negative experience: Not the Dental Associates I grew up with in the 90s. They still use some outdated techniques combined with poor communication and money grab tactics. I went in to see about my front teeth and worn enamel and the doctor said I need all crowns from eye tooth to eye tooth due to abfraction and two additional fillings. I looked up abfraction and it is not what I have. I've been a patient on and off since childhood there and things have gone to money first patient second. My family and I will be finding another office.

Fantastic experience: Dr Kara is always so gentle and kind with me. Dental anxiety is real till you meet her and she calms you down.

Fantastic experience: Dental Associates of Baraboo is a fantastic dental office for routine, urgent and specialty treatments! All of the staff are very friendly and Dr. Kara has such a joyful attitude. Billing has also been pretty easy. Very pretty and clean two-floor facility. Plenty of parking in a lot across the street. They schedule pretty far out but are very loyal to their cancelation lists and are great at calling patients to get appointments moved up. Highly recommend this dental clinic!

Fantastic experience: I have been receiving care from Dr. Kara Lobaugh Bjorklund, and her staff for over 20 years. She is very calming and has a gentle demeanor that makes dental work less scary. She is open to my ideas on my dental care and never pushes for me to do anything I wouldn’t feel comfortable with. When I am receiving care Kara and her staff put my comfort at the top of their priorities. I would definitely recommend Dental Associates to anyone looking for dental care. The orthodontist department has helped me tremendously with my TMJ (lockjaw) issues and it couldn’t have been any easier for me. I would absolutely recommend them to any friends or family.

Dr. Brad always tells me what is going on and explains what I can do to keep my mouth healthy. I recommend without reservation.

Negative experience: They DO NOT accept state insurance. Another dental office that does not serve the less fortunate community. Nice.

Fantastic experience: I have been traveling to Baraboo, and trusting the care of my teeth to Dental Associates, for almost 40 years now. Could I go to a dentist closer to my home? Sure, but the quality of care, service, and advice I receive from Dr. Brad and the staff there means so much to me. When he tells me "If there is a problem, call us and we'll have a look", I feel very comfortable that I will be seen quickly. I truly believe that my dental health and comfort are a top priority with Dr. Brad and the staff at Dental Associates.

She is so gentle, reassuring and compassionate along with being an outstanding dentist. I refer dental clinics as the house of pain. Tiff has reversed that attitude. When I go into the clinic they treat me with respect and as one of their friends. It’s like going home. I think the world of Tiff, Laurie, Heather and the rest of the staff.

Fantastic experience: Since childhood I had a fear of going to the dentist. I avoided going for the early part of my adult life until I had a filling fall out. At that time I lived in Baraboo, and ended up choosing Dental Associates. Now my husband and I live 45 minutes away from Dental Associates, but we both still choose them as our dental practice of choice because of their comprehensive yet gentle care. My teeth are the healthiest they've been, and I've been cavity free for years! I attribute that to Dental Associates. HIGHLY recommend! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Positive experience: Update: I increased my rating after I had a super pleasant conversation with the GM, and he explained some ways that the office could have handled triage better. He also explained that extended wait time for dental service is the standard right now, and that Dental Associates is currently operating better than other clinics. It was great to have a follow up conversation, and it showed that they really care about doing the best they can given the healthcare situation right now.

I'm not sure if the person cleaning my teeth was more gentle or if they turned down the pressure of the water jet, but it was the least painful teeth cleaning I've ever had. She also asked at several different points if she was causing any discomfort, which I don't remember from previous visits
