Fantastic experience: From my first visit last week to my scaling today, this dental office has been wonderful. For someone who hasn't been a regular attendee in 20 plus years everyone was sweet and patient and most importantly gentle. So glad I found this place ☺️. Just had a cavity filling with DR Adelstein and her assistant Christine. First filling in YEARS. Absolutely NO pain from needle to finish! Love love love these people. They are friendly, professional and so caring they've brought me back from 25 years of total dental fear to none whatsoever! Who'd a thunk it! Another great visit with Megan and Dr Nick. It's been a few months and various treatments and I'm so glad I found these guys. wonderful staff too Just had a cleaning with Chelsea. She's the best. Friendly, gentle and really good at her job. Great dental office all around including the front office staff.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Adelstein is caring and compassionate above all. She also provides high quality dental care in keeping with current practice and standards. I needed a significant amount of dental restoration to replace 30-year-old veneers. She reviewed all options with me, pros and cons of each, what insurance would cover and what my out of pocket costs would be. There were no surprises and the end result of six outstanding quality crowns indistinguishable from my other teeth was a direct result of her talent and professionalism. Her staff are all wonderfully attentive and make dental care easy. I highly recommend Dr Adelstein and Canalside Dental.

I see Dr. Black there who is kind, gentle, patient and talented as is the whole team working there. I’m picky about my dentist and love them for all their knowledge and quality of work and their dedication to the craft. I heartily recommend their services and consider myself very fortunate to have found them. They rock!

Fantastic experience: Bad Cavity found under cap tooth. Doctor drilled out the cap cleaned and took care of the tooth and I will get a new cap. Teeth are important to keep. Eventually I’ll get a root canal down the line.

Fantastic experience: Excellent hygienist today. Not only was my cleaning without difficulty, we also were able to talk and share a few laughs. I had questions that were answered in an easily understood manner. I did not have to wait long for Dr A to enter the room. The hygienist gave her concise report allowing dr to complete her part of exam with delay. Though I didn't have issues, my cleaning was exemplary.

Everyone in the office was super nice and welcoming. Made my anxiety about being there fade. Gave me a treatment plan and options. Their extra services, like mouth guards and whitening, are pricey, but I think they accept the most common insurances for the basic procedures. Negative experience: I have been to this dentist a few times. The first time I went a few years ago I had a full set of X-rays done. I had an appointment today for just a cleaning and they wanted to do more X-rays. I refused saying I did not want to be exposed to the radiation once again, and I don’t believe it is necessary to have so many X-rays. The dentist told me it was ok to have my teeth cleaned today, but the next time I’d have to have the X-ray’s or I can’t come back. Fine with me, I will never go back. In addition, their waiting room is dirty and dingy and not very appealing for a dentist office.

Fantastic experience: This week I had dental surgery with Danielle Burgess. I was extremely nervous for this appointment. When she entered the room she made me feel at ease. She explained everything that was going to be done, made sure during the two hour procedure I was not in any pain. At one point I said I could feel a little pain but it was fine. She replied “No it’s not fine Crystal” and gave me more Novacaine. She made sure I was comfortable and had no pain at all. A few hours after being home she called to check on me. This ment so much to me as I’m sure she has a lot of other things going on yet she took the time and called me herself. If you need a Periodontist Danielle is who you need to see. She won’t sugar coat anything, she is honest and tells you exactly what needs to be done. She made me feel good and I’ll be seeing her in a few months to complete my dental plan.Thank you Danielle for going ABOVE AND BEYOND!!!!

Fantastic experience: I’ve received excellent dental care from Dr. A. She’s amazing and is really helping my teeth and mouth to heal from major trauma due to a chronic illness. She eases my mind about the treatment and care I’m receiving and assures me that my teeth are worth saving. The staff is helpful and friendly. If you call and don’t hear back, keep calling because they are worth it.

Although there is a new staff and Dentist I am very happy with the continued care and friendliness at Canal Dental. Jonathan saw John Winterle in Boston at a function and asked about a Dentist in the city. He is happy with his Dentist and it's not Dr. Winterle Una Williams ❤️

Fantastic experience: This office was So Helpful and extremely nice. Had to come in for a chipped tooth. They didn’t take my insurance but still was able to see me and prescribe antibiotics. This calmed my anxiety and the antibiotics will give me a little bit more time to find a practice that does take my insurance. The office was clean and had that home like feeling. I definitely recommend to anyone. The 2 woman at the front desk took so much time trying to help me and both them and everyone there were so kind.
