Dr Moore has a bedside manner that makes you feel calm in spite of prior Dental trauma and he conducts a very calmly paced and thorough exam and explains things clearly. I highly recommend this dental practice, from front office to exam room it was a positive experience.

Negative experience: Be careful scheduling here. They’re extremely disorganized and unreliable with appointments. Even confirmed times don’t seem to mean anything — you can show up and still be told you’re not in their system. No communication, no accountability, just wasted time. Save yourself the frustration and choose a different office that actually respects its patients.

Fantastic experience: I cannot say enough good things about this dental practice! I’m 30 years old and admittedly hadn’t been to a dentist in over a decade, so I was extremely nervous walking in for the first time. From the moment I arrived, the entire staff was friendly, welcoming, and put me at ease right away. At my first visit, they quickly and clearly explained everything, came up with a treatment plan for my 9 cavities, and helped me feel completely comfortable moving forward. Over the next three visits, Dr. Moore and Lily were absolutely incredible. They relieved all of my anxiety, made every appointment feel easy, and did an amazing job restoring my teeth back to normal. The level of care, professionalism, and genuine kindness here is unmatched. I honestly never thought I’d say this, but I actually look forward to going to the dentist now. If you’ve been putting it off or are nervous like I was, this is the place to go. Five stars all the way!

Negative experience: Absolute WORST dental experiences ever! The dentist is incompetent and only after your money and the front desk reception is unprofessional and rude. (Sadly, have only had positive experiences with their hygienists, but they can never seem to keep the good ones for some reason.) Customer service doesn't exist here, nor does concern for your health/wellbeing. Read all of the reviews and see how they regularly receive one star, despite having their regulars leave 5-star reviews. Recommend finding literally any other dentist in town.

Fantastic experience: These guys and girls are by far the best dentist service Ive ever had - the crew is super cool and make you feel relaxed about ever part of your visit . Dr Moore is the man ! Nothing but good vibes, knowledge and good energy from him the whole time I’m here, even when I was laid back getting worked on - him and his crew had me relaxed and informed about what they were going at the moment and what the next step was after that . They’ve changed my smile and life more then hen they’ll ever know and I can’t can’t thank them enough . By far the best dentist offices I ever been too and will only go there now . They had me more relaxed with just the vibe , super friendly staff and Dr Moore vibes and conversation the visits I’ve had at other offices hooked up to laughing gas and a crew who didn’t have much to say . It was night and day . So thank you all the whole staff there for changing my life for the better !!! 5 ++++++

I was able to get scheduled SOOO quickly and got all my dental work done in 2 weeks that would have taken my last dentist 2 months. Plus they play great music, like Pink Floyd. Love it here, 10/10.

Negative experience: If I could give this less than 1 I would. Very unprofessional and rude staff. Completely disappointed that office managers support such rudeness from a receptionist. Our family will be taking our business elsewhere. And of course your response is you can’t find us in your patient roster to possibly be able to know what went wrong. You provide inaccurate information and apparently believe that you are somehow justified in cancelling services based on your unprofessionalism. Poor, poor basis for any professional business.

Negative experience: My experience with Dr. Moore, his wife, and their staff (with the exception of the dental hygienists) was frustrating and disappointing. I came to them with legitimate concerns but found that they were unwilling to truly listen and address my needs. After Dr. Moore extracted a molar, I experienced vertigo and issues with my inner ear. When further complications arose in my jawbone, I returned to discuss the possibility of a root canal infection. Instead of taking my concerns seriously, Dr. Moore dismissed them, shifted the focus to my gum disease, and referred me to a periodontist, refusing to provide any further care. I expected a collaborative approach to my health, but instead, I encountered a lack of empathy and professionalism. This experience has stood out as one of the least supportive encounters I’ve had with a healthcare provider. I would not recommend this practice to anyone seeking attentive, patient-centered care.

Negative experience: The word outstanding comes to mind when talking about the service, people, and Dr Moore. If you are nervous about going to the dentist then you need to go to Dr Moore! The team will help you feel totally comfortable and at ease! Now after a year, the true review is after spending good money after good money the dentures still do not fit. After 6 months they had to redo the whole bottom teeth due to they would never fit. Then I paid for a cleaning of the dentures, a friend told me to use efferdent denture cleaning. After using the efferdent, the dentures were cleaner than what the women down there could do. Now my task is to find a honest dentist to help make my dentures fit correct so they no longer create users in my mouth.

Negative experience: You will recieve good dental care. However, consummate patient health is not their utmost priority, as it should be for any Healthcare entity of any kind. Getting paid is Dr. Moores #1 priority. I feel, I was stereotyped and hounded if I ever lapsed on a payment. I had a choice this year, pay my bills or eat. I was a size 38 in January of 2024 when I started as a client, I am a size 33 right now December 2024. That, is my previous employers fault, not Dr. Moores, yet, that's the perspective on how hard I've been trying to pay my bills on time. It's been very stressful, so I've fired Dr.Moore. I need a compassionate and understanding dentist. Yeah, I'm owed $28,000 by my former employer. See how that works? I was offered 1(one) other payment option. Be respectful. I'm not the kind to take disrespect. Ich bin ein Überlegener Arbeiter. Ich baue die Welt. You're just a supporting role. Remember that.

Negative experience: The day before my cleaning, they canceled my appointment (although have policies against You canceling so late.) No explanation, and then stated that they were unsure when they would be able to reschedule. Weeks later, they still never called to reschedule, so when I call, they can’t get me in for a few months. So essentially I missed my six month cleaning. I believe I’m being discriminated against for having Medicaid. Poor form.

Negative experience: As a person, Dr. Moore seems like a great guy. He was my dentist from 2018 through 2023. However, during that time I had off and on, but almost debilitatingly awful pain in my lower right jaw. In addition to routine cleanings, Dr. Moore saw me at least 3 times for this specific issue and was never able to resolve it. One trip to Comfort Dental and they knew immediately what the problem was, sent me to an endodontist and the problem was resolved in a single session. Further, I lost a tooth in 2021. Dr. Moore attempted an implant. I was told the total price would be around $4000. The implant failed the same day, my new $4000 tooth just fell right out. It was extremely difficult to afford this in the first place, and insurance does not cover it. Dr. Moore’s response was “trying to do the same thing over and over again is the definition of insanity.” His office offered me no discount on the original failed procedure, but instead sent me to another dentist who did the job correctly and I now do have a new tooth. Additionally, Dr. Moore’s dental assistant told me about how he went to Mexico right after I lost my tooth to learn how to do an implant. Apparently he did a few between that and doing mine, but he charged much more than the new dentist (especially because he wanted $2400 additional to place the tooth the new periodontist set the implant for, where the actual tooth I got — from a more seasoned dentist — was $1900.) It was also “like pulling teeth” to ever just get a specific amount that I owed, so much that I had to go back and show records of all of my payments to sort out the final price - and they had overcharged me by over $1000, which they did refund. I wish this office the best of luck and the same to Dr. Moore as his experience grows, but to not back up your work and not even give a partial discount on an utterly failed procedure, at a minimum, to patients you know are struggling to just have their smile back, has sent me elsewhere for dental care.

Negative experience: I have been a patient of Dr Moore's for about 5 years now and never had any complaints till a couple weeks ago. I had a filling fall out of a tooth and had an appointment to get it fixed but had to reschedule. No problem got it rescheduled but the second appointment I was out of town and wasn't going to be back in Durango in time for the appointment so called and OFFERED to pay the $75 late notice fee for the missed appointment. The receptionist refuse to have me pay saying it wasn't necessary I'd just have to pay for the filling upfront before I could be scheduled again, again no problem. Then I get a letter in the mail saying the dentist office is refusing to be my dentist and I have to find another dentist! I now have a big hole in my tooth and no dentist even tho I offered to pay their no show fee and they refused to let me pay. I've been a patient there for years and this is how I was treated!
