Fantastic experience: I am just totally pleased with my experience with mockingbird dental associates of cartersville. I believe I just had the best dentist and assistant in my life. Dr. Stephens and dental assistant Alana were just amazing! They work so well together and they are so kind. They had a difficult job with my teeth but they did a fantastic job. I will recommend them to anyone!

Fantastic experience: We moved to Cartersville from Canton five years ago. Since then, we have been to one dentist here and had the worst experience, so we went back to our old dentist in Canton; that is, until my son knocked one of his adult teeth clean out while playing outside back in May. This happened on a Thursday afternoon. While our Canton dentist told us it wasn’t an emergency and to wait until Monday to come in, we were told this was quite literally an emergency and started calling around to other dentists in our area out of desperation. My husband called Mockingbird just a few minutes before they closed and with zero hesitation, they stayed open to rush us in and our son taken care of. They were so good and gentle with him and got him all fixed up and were so gracious with us financially that it made my non emotional husband tear up. We are so thankful for Dr. Stephens and his team at Mockingbird. And it’s so nice to finally have found a dentistry close to home that we can trust.

Fantastic experience: This is by far the best experience at a dentist office that I've ever had. This blows every other practice out of the water! We had an amazing experience with both the dentist and hygienist. My 7 year old daughter has very high anxiety and we have never been met with the level compassion and patience like we did here! I was blown away and will never go elsewhere.

Fantastic experience: I don't typically write reviews, but Mockingbird has such a sweet team of individuals. I took my daughter for her first dentist appointment, and she had so much fun! They let her hold different tools and explained what each tool was used for. They even put on some Frozen music for her. I appreciate the extra steps they took to make her feel comfortable.

Fantastic experience: Mockingbird is so far my favorite dentists office. They are very transparent about their treatment plans and really go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. I saw Dr. Modha, who while performing my treatment was very professional, kind, and prioritized both the quality of my treatment and my comfort. I definitely recommend trying Mockingbird if you're looking for dentistry in Cartersville!

Negative experience: They did not tell me they were out of network for delta dental ppo before the service. Check before you receive services.

Fantastic experience: This dentist is the best! I knocked out my front tooth when I was 9 and since then i’ve had terrible dental experiences. Dentists who don’t listen to me, dentists who are just trying to get me to spend the most money possible, it has been terrible. Mockingbird Dental changed all of that. They were patient, thorough, and accommodating. I got 6 new teeth put in right in the front and they look beautiful! Thank you so much Dr. M and all of the other associates that guided me through this process! Y’all are amazing.

Negative experience: As far as the procedures they have gone well. I have been going for years. My issue is the shady practice of not telling their patients that they went out of network for all insurance providers and allowing me to rack up visits for over a year never once saying anything to me. Now I’m out of pocket as much as the insurance is covering! Ridiculous

Fantastic experience: I recently went in for a dental bonding on my front teeth! My gap was so small so I was scared it wasn’t going to workout. BUT DR. Shoukoohi did such an amazing job! I can not stop smiling. Will definitely recommend him to anyone!!! Thank you thank you thank you!!!

The atmosphere is very calming. I’ve never been so impressed with the care provided at any other dentist office I’ve ever been to! 10/10!

Fantastic experience: Wonderful experience! I came from another dentist office that didn’t have good customer service and I couldn’t been more pleased that I found Mockingbird Dental. Everyone was so kind and professional. They answered all my questions and always made sure I was comfortable. Highly highly recommend for all your dental needs.

Negative experience: I called these guys for a dental emergency, and was told over the phone they weren't in-network for my insurance, but they'd process the claims for my provider, I'd just have to potentially pay the higher "out of network" cost. However, once I got there, filled out all the paperwork, sat in the chair, got an X-ray, and confirmed the issue... they sent in the billing person, who told me that I'd have to pay completely out of pocket for the procedure because "they haven't had good luck getting Guardian to pay claims." In my limited exposure to the dentist and the assistant, they seemed very empathetic and wanted to help... I actually thought I'd found my regular dentist. I'm sure they are great at what they do. But, do NOT come here if you hope to use your dental insurance. They will not even try to make a claim against it, even in an emergency situation in which you are in significant pain.

Negative experience: Be careful. Good dentist and office workers but this practice may leave you hanging with a big balance after your insurance. We were told in the office and on the phone that our insurance would cover our services needed but that was not true. We ended up owing a lot of money. I believe the problem is that they don't actually take any insurance as "in network". Make sure they actually call and check your insurance coverage and what it is actually going to cover before you have the work done.

Negative experience: Have been a patient for over 20 years. The practice was bought out and the new owner has decided not to accept ANY insurance as in-network. Meaning you have to pay and hope to be reimbursed. Even the staff hates it. Not worth the hassle any more. A good practice ruined by a bad owner. I miss Dr. Eberhardt.

Fantastic experience: This place is amazing! My husband said "I can't deal with this pain another day" and I wrote into mockingbird dental around 7 am. They called me at 9am and squeezed us in for 11! They checked him out and had us come back in a couple hours later to get them extracted!! We had never been there or even known about mockingbird dental before this and they were able to fix the problem same day. I'm so thankful for them! Everyone in office is so sweet and my husband said he didn't even feel the extractions which amazed me. I 100% recommend this place and no other! They also made it as affordable as possible, the process which could easily be stressful ended up being so smooth and easy. Thank you to everyone that helped us today!

Fantastic experience: Another excellent experience just like others over the past 15 years. Dentists skillfully use up to date techniques and equipment that deliver excellent results for my family. My doctor is very calm and takes extra care to explain his progress as he works. Same for the dental specialists who clean teeth. We get appropriate attention for a family member with special needs. Attention was given to pairing us with a compatible staff member. The support staff is always friendly and efficient in handling our account and communicating using phone, text and email. The waiting area has the most comfortable seating around. Highly recommended.

Also... the few times I've needed them after hours they've always been available. The hygentist I use is extremely good. Trust me Ive gone to some that are NOT... this is a make or break for me.

Fantastic experience: I have had a dental-phobia since I was little. In the last 20 years, I have used only Mockingbird Dental because they understand my anxiety. Kristin cleaned my teeth every 6 months for many, many years, then left the practice to teach dental hygiene, which is great for those new dental hygienists but awful for me. I was so panicked about seeing a new hygienist who may not be as gentle or would not understand my level of anxiety. I was so anxious before my first appointment with Lynn that I actually had heart palpitations. Lynn asked me questions and let me know that she would do everything possible to help me through the appointment while at the same time, actually cleaning my teeth! :) I recently had my second appointment with Lynn. She is excellent at diverting my attention from being at the dentist and chats like we are friends having coffee. Thank you, Lynn, for helping me through my appointments and making sure my teeth are cleaned in the process!! If anyone reading this has a dental phobia, go see Dr. Eberhard and Lynn!

Fantastic experience: If you are looking for a great dentist, then go to Mockingbird Dental. I had a bad experience with another corporate type dentist office several years ago. So much so, I didn’t want to return to a dentist, so I let some things go that needed to be addressed. I came to this dentist on recommendation of some friends and I’m so glad I did. They walk you through everything they do and make sure you are comfortable as possible. Definitely me dentist for life. Love them, I know you will!

Fantastic experience: Everything was done very professionally. In and out in no time. Everyone is very pleasant and courteous.

Positive experience: I was having sose pretty bad pain on my left side and just felt something wasn't going correctly. The staff was absolutely awesome and got me in immediately!!! But Dr. Eberhard immediately walked in talking about my prescriptions. I was up front and told him yes I had seen other drs previously. One which was right before my tooth actually cracked while away from home and had to have a random dentist in another state pull the tooth which took almost 2 hours. So the site was aggravated bad. Then a bone spur came through and yes I saw an oral surgeon to have it sawed down in which I told him! I've had a hirrhorr time lately with tooth grinding and cracking my teeth in the back. But u told him I was not there for pain meds, that I needed to know if antibiotics might help or if it was something minor. I felt I was being judged for having pain medicine filled that he was done with me at that point. Don't get me wrong, I appreciate him asking for his safety and mine. But I just didn't like feeling judged. I told him I take ibuprIbup and do ok but this was actually painful! Ended up going to one more Dr for a second opinion. Well, my top tooth in the very back was infected and cracked, it came out also the other dentist found another bone spur in my lower gum he wants to keep an eye on. So my feeling was correct that something was hurting me. Sorry I wrote a novel! But again the staff was absolutely precious!!!! I just hated the Dr walking straight into the room talking about meds when that wasn't my concern. Naturally I wanted out of pain!! But it didn't have to be a pain medicine route.

Fantastic experience: I had a no appointment emergency walk-in and unlike other dentists in the area, Mockingbird Dental seen me immediately even though they first warned that my wait may be long. I was a first time patient, which also seemed to deter other denists in the area. Mockingbird processed and confirmed my dental insurance and I was in and out in 90 minutes. I had a cracked back tooth that they immediately treated with a temporary which relieved my pain. I can't thank them enough for their kind and professional service. Highly recommend Mockingbird Dental :)

No substitute for his kind of experience and expertise, as well as his caring attitude along with thorough explanation for treatment plans. What a dental office should be.

I filled out inquiry online over the weekend and received a call to set up appt. first thing Mon. morning. I was able to complete new patient paperwork online & made an appt. that afternoon. The office was comfortable and they took great care of me! I’ve been back for several visits since the initial and each time was great! Everyone is very nice and the office staff is very organized and professional. They are always on time and quick but don’t rush you out. Dr Shoukoohi and DA’s are all friendly and gentle. Great office overall!

Denise and the front desk made me feel good from the time I walked in the door. Dr. M did great work fixing Molars 2 and 15, and Ashley was as good as any hygienist I have ever been to.

Fantastic experience: I have high anxiety when it comes to visiting a dentist. So much so, I hadn't been in 10 years. I scheduled a check up, and knew I had some issues with some of my teeth. I was scheduled to get them fixed yesterday, June 19th. I still do not "like" going to the dentist, but I will have to say this lengthy 2+ hour visit was a pleasant surprise! Dr. Eberhard and his staff are very competent, compassionate people. I believe they really care about their patients. I defintely recommend Mockingbird Dental! I couldn't be more pleased and satisfied with the care I received!
