Negative experience: The girl in the front was so rude!! the call receptionist, she was so unprofessional and so rude. She tells me last minute that my daughter can’t go to the appointment literally 10 minutes until my appointment she tells me ?? Like I made the appointment awhile ago! Then my provider calls her and I can hear everything they are saying and she is being so rude to my provider even hung up on her face, my provider even called back twice and she would send provider straight to voicemail. Will not be using this dentist for my daughter. Get nicer People to answer the phone please.

Edit: Confused by a lot of the 1 star reviews. I've never had any member of the staff be rude towards me ever. I've very rarely ever had to reschedule an appointment due to an emergency they had come up. I've had complete work done here from deep teeth cleaning, fillings, root canals, venures, tooth extraction, and caps. Any issues with payments are from what your insurance decides to cover, just like with hospital bills. You will have to call and fight your insurance company for reimbursement or get the work properly coded. The office provides estimates based on your insurance which can sometimes be off, just like hospitals. This is insurance policies 101. Excellent staff throughout the years, up front and procedural. Very relaxing atmosphere, has helped me overcome my phobia of the dentist. Remember, people are more likely to take to the internet after a bad experience rather than a good one. I will continue to keep using this practice as my primary dental provider. I can now smile with confidence and joy from their fantastic work!

Negative experience: I went here where they accepted my insurance this is the pricing for what needed done had no work done on spot for my broke tooth. I came to Midland today And got it fixed a famalia dental and only walked out paying 113$ they simply asked what was needed right now today and fixed and x ray said spot kinda of sad y'all are way over pricing stuff shame on them 2000$ they wanted

Negative experience: I’m not thrilled with our experience with Abbeville dentistry this far. We unfortunately had to switch to them once our insurance was no longer in network at our previous dentist. We have been patients since July. I schedule our appointments and put them on my calendar & the confirmation text they send me is always different than my scheduled time. For example our appointment is at three & the confirmation text says it’s at 2. This has happened on numerous occasions. They have also cancelled and rescheduled multiple times-once for a “mistake” in their system & once for an emergency. I understood the emergency situation but the rescheduling for no reason was ridiculous. And my son is currently in the process of having braces & every time we go to get his bands changed I ask for our balance. Originally our balance after insurance was $1800, I paid $500 for a down payment. In August they told me our balance was $600 & today they told me my balance was $1792 I am not sure why they cannot tell me my correct balance.

Negative experience: My spouse just attempted to make an appointment for her tooth as she currently has an ache and was attempting to alleviate the issue; however, due to the female receptionist who answered the phone call, we will not be allowing our earned money and benefits to assist this establishment. It is one issue to not be able to have an appointment readily available but it is a completely entirely separate matter to be rude! I have heard of many others complain not of the establishment itself in forms of the dentistry procedures but of the front desk professionals. Please Abbeville Dentistry, you are one of the few dentistry specialists that take federal insurance in this area, please train and hold accountable your staff to uphold better quality practices concerning customer service and satisfaction.

Negative experience: Appointment wait time is too long.Not friendly when you have a problem with them rescheduling you after you have waited 1 1/2 months already.

Negative experience: We will never be using this place of business for any further dental needs in the future. I was scheduled for a tooth extraction in March of this year for five wisdom teeth and they told me with my insurance we would only have to pay about $1400. The day before my appointment was scheduled in March. We called to confirm the amount and they told us they changed it from 1400 to 2100. Because of “extra teeth they didn’t see on my initial xray” We were never informed of this increase in payment and if we hadn’t called, we would’ve found out at the appointment the following day. Since there was a price increase, we had to reschedule to the following month to save money When we arrived at the appointment, they charged us the $2100. As I was sat down for my appointment, the dentist performing the procedure informed us that he was only extracting the original five teeth that we were informed of and that we were in fact overcharged. We were told we were going to be receiving a refund after our insurance paid the claim. We waited weeks for this. When we finally got the statement back from our insurance, the insurance company informed us that the dentist was only supposed to charge us about $800 for the procedure. We were overcharged about $700 out the gate and then they increased it by another 700 without informing us. Absolutely safe to say that we will not be doing business here again.

Negative experience: I couldn't be more outraged at the incompetence of this dentistry. I took my wife there to have a tooth extracted. They had already given me a price for the procedure ahead of time but when we got there they charged me $100.00 over without explanation. My wife had elected for local anesthesia so when the assistant tried to give her gas she told her to talk to me about it. The assistant left the room but where she went we don't know because she never came to me for anything. It wasn't because I was unreachable since I was sitting in the lobby literally 15 feet away. And the real kicker was the fact that they extracted the wrong tooth.. It was all I could do to keep from going down there and rain hell on that place. I was under the impression that a place like this was supposed to be employed by trained professionals.

Negative experience: By far the worst dentist I’ve ever been to, I got a filling and it came out in 2 days. The main dentist is very rude, and her schooling must’ve not taught her much about fixing teeth. Very dirty inside, I Shoudve listened to the one star rating they have earned on yelp.

Negative experience: 0/10 do not recommend. I had an appointment scheduled for 1500. Only received X-rays, and a gum assessment. They wanted me to make a new appointment for a cleaning and a filling but had no availability until June. If you like having your time wasted by all means come to this clinic. Never been to a dental clinic where I don’t get a basic cleaning during my appointment, new patient or not. Take your business elsewhere.

Negative experience: I don’t think I will be going there back again. I have had 2 bad experiences with dentist. If I didn’t have anxiety I do now around them. What is worse is if the dentist has an attitude. I don’t see how you are going to be a dentist and you have an attitude. That scares me. No thank you. I’m going somewhere else. She wasn’t friendly at all. Like she was a very unhappy individual. Then my insurance always says I don’t have a copay. But I get a $90 something bill.

Negative experience: Only see kids Tuesdays and Thursdays, don’t even have a child size chair to have proper visits in, my child’s body keeps slipping down but it can’t be helped when the chair is an adult size chair. If you get just the pedi dentist, she doesn’t clean your child’s teeth, only polishes them after a Quick Look. They’ve been known to cancel or move appointments without notification.

Negative experience: Don’t recommend getting your kids braces here. I’ve had so much trouble with brackets and wires staying on, small rooms, not the most professional and sometimes scheduling issues.
